I've heard that it's pretty good. (Sonic Generations) and I'm tempted to pick this up. But, not just yet. Has anyone on here played it? What do you think of it? Is it worth the full price, or pick it up used down the line? Thanks in advance!

It's a pretty great game. Essentially half is Sonic 2, while the other half is Sonic Colors. Your preference will most likely depend on your first Sonic game, year of birth, and gaming type. Both types are fun, and I suggest.

I got the CE yesterday, only got up to City Escape, but really enjoying it so far. I'd say if you're still willing to give Sonic a chance, definitely give it a try.

I down dowaded the demo and loved it.ive also just been watching the chemical plant level on you tube and love it even more now,but not got the game yet.

i own it and its a fun game if you dont even bother with the story in the gam (no Spoilers here) it can take anywhere from 3 to 7 hours depending on if you jsut play the main game or try for the plat trophy here i got the trophy here about 3 hours ago and i can honestly say that this is a game that was full worth the price of $50 USD here.
myself for playing here i got 100% on everything including the plat torphy here in 8 days even while doing 2 jobs here

Me and my brother (we're big Sonic fans since the Genesis days, especially him) loved the game! We actually got the Platinum a few days ago. In my opinion, it is the best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2.

If you like Sonic, definitely get it. Fantastic platformer

This platinum is such a GRIND! It's not even fun to go for. I recommend just playing it and avoiding the platinum because its not worth the time and frustration.

I LOVED it! I got it on the 360 though as it was actually a present for my friend but i wanted to play it before I sent it gonna get it again though on ps3 and platinum it again. i really wanna play it again. imo the best sonic game since Sonic Adventure 1/2 =) still nothing beats sonic 3 & knuckles with hyper sonic =D

yeah sonic is my favorite one. its just i like playing as hyper sonic with after images trailing behind sonic

Anyway yeah you should get it. you can even pick songs that you unlocked for the levels. once i unlocked Stardust Speedway remix(its from sonic cd) i only used that for the remained of the game xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15rGd...eature=related thats the song xD

I own it, but it's really my gf's game, she got all the trophies she loves that game! I'd say give it a go

The story is REALLY weak.... The gameplay is pretty solid, 2D being a bit too hard and 3D being a bit too easy, though it's fun. The game isn't long at all, but there are mildly boring challenges, and upgrades and stuff, to cope with afterwards. It's an all around decent game, certainly better that the other Sonic games, we've been given the last like.... 5 years.

i loved this game, specially the modern sonic stages. the classic sonic is fun too.
