Hey everyone, I just finished getting all the other trophies in sound shapes other than the death mode ones. I am having a very hard time with death mode and I haven't been able to finish any of them yet. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance!

It is really about luck. Some times the notes appear right next to each other (letting you get a bunch at once) other times you spend the whole time jumping across the screen. Learn where the notes appear and the safest way to get over there and then keep trying til you get it.

Haha no way I'm trying that game. I still only have 4 in sound shapes. Does anyone else have any good tips?

Like mayus said, 50% of it is pure luck.
I take a good 10-15 minutes to learn the level, then attempt it for real. There really is no 'Technique' to Death Mode. Just focus on the challenge and it will get done eventually if you try.

Total Awards: 9Haha, congrats man, I still have 2 more deadmou5 levels, and then the Beck ones until plat.
But yeah, the problem with this mode is that the notes spawn in random places, so sometimes you can be perfect, but they get placed too far apart that you run out of time. You just gotta keep at it. I've only had a really hard time with two of them so far, Event Horizon 1, and Galaxanoids. Other than that, you just gotta focus on the beat and they all took me <10 minutes.

Total Awards: 9Welp, platinum. An awesome game, hopefully I'll still be motivated to improve my level creation skills now that there are no trophies to keep my attention. And yeah, Beck took about 30 minutes total, not too bad.

I found the levels with the little ship the hardest... its all about getting the right secuence and the right timing, nothing else there to help...
I do love the double plat you get when synchronized the cloud save on ps3 lol

Total Awards: 9eww, I hate the double plat. It feels like cheating, getting 2x the trophies for a game because it's on two systems. It's why I refuse to boot up both Sound Shapes and Motorstorm RC on my PS3, since I don't want to have twice the trophy lists. Like, I could be at 44 plats in 5 minutes if I wanted, but it just feels dirty

The deadmau5 levels are a little tough. I can't seem to get the hang of the stage with the 4 laser shooting pillar things.

Well i do like the double plat, but you are right, maybe they should have added something exclusive for each platform... in that way you dont get the instant platinum, just the tougher trophies

That one is rough. If you need to get to the other side, stick to the top pillar and go up about halfway, then jump down to the blue platform, and quickly time the jump to make it over the bottom two lasers. It's tough, but once you get the hang of it, It's not too hard. Most of your time Is spent sticking to the pillars believe it or not.

I started playing it again last night and this morning and managed to complete 6 more. Now I just need to complete the ones I have the most trouble with: Thermogenica #2, Mechanica, and Touch The People.

Takes me like 50 tries before i manage finish a single death mode level...
