This thread is first and foremost a discussion thread, but it also has a poll. Please do not vote in the poll until you have earned the platinum trophy for this game. That being said, we invite you to post below and discuss the difficult aspects of the game, even if you do not yet have the platinum trophy in your collection.
When you post, give more than just a number. Give reasons why you feel the game is easy or hard. What parts of the game are easy or hard? Were there collectibles? Were they a pain? Is there a required online component? How easy or hard is the online portion? What is the most frustrating part about the game?
Once you have obtained the platinum trophy, feel free to return to this thread and post your official vote. Say something to the effect of "I give this a 2 because there was only one tough spot and the collectibles were easy to find". At this point, you may also add your vote to the poll.
The poll is public, meaning everyone can see how you vote.

I would vote this a 3.5 rather than just a 3. Death Mode is tough, but only because the notes randomly appear. Just learn the levels and learn where you can jump and you will be fine.

I agree that this would be somewhere between 3 and 4. The campaign was very simple... you don't need to collect anything; just finish the levels and enjoy the music.
Death Mode was a massive pain... some levels were stupid easy and others were stupid difficult. As Dr_Mayus pointed out, all the notes spawn randomly on these levels. It boils down to quick reaction and luck. I seriously must have played a couple of the levels upwards of 50 times. This is the first game in a while that made me want to rage a bit, haha.
Beat School was a blast! There were a couple tricky ones where muted notes eluded me. Nothing to rage about there though. Most of the beats/tunes were fantastic and made it very enjoyable.

Some of those Death Mode levels got me angry as all hell, but the rest of the game was easy. It was a nice and fun platinum but those Death Mode levels...ugh.

1 Very Easy
Although a few of the death mode levels were tough, this was still an easy plat. If you're really good at platforming, you could probably finish it in a couple hours. Loved the beat school levels. Definitely worthy of $15.

Since I cant choose 3.5, I chose Hard. It takes practice and a little luck of getting good dot placement. Some levels I got within a few minutes, while others took close to an hour lol...

I chose hard! It can be half skill and half luck due to random note spawns. (Death Mode)

3/5
Though the random note spawns can be a pain at times, they can sometimes be really helpful, which saves this from a 4.
