I could see LA but I think they have to give up, to start, Bynum and Gasol. Just wonder who else goes with them. I don't see the Spurs going for Howard. Not sure Popovich would want somebody that has (supposedly) gotten his coach fired and asked to be traded on his team. Suns don't have anybody to trade and the Mavs....who knows.
Supposedly the Nets have proposed a trade of Humphries, Lopez and Brooks plus 3 1st round picks for Howard. I dont see how the Magic can turn that down.

Total Awards: 6Lakers are talking with the Magic for a possible trade for Howard. Lakers are offering Bynum, but Orlando wants more than Bynum, and they want the Lakers to take an expensive veteran contract - Hedo Turkoglu or Jason Richardson - too.
According to reports, Deron Williams has signed a five-year, $98 million deal with the Nets.
Lakers are also pursuing Steve Nash.

Total Awards: 8Suns you ask
If they manage to keep Nash, Howard would have more touches then he would in LA. If he goes to the Spurs, the opposing team will have to set up a hell of a defense to counter act Ducan ability to shot outside and Howard dominance down low off double team that will be played on Parker or Manu. Williams isn't a good PG for the Nets, he will go to a team that knows how to get him the ball. Let's not forget he is a good free-throw shooter for a Center.

I think for the Suns to keep Nash, they would have to pick up somebody first. I can't see Nash returning to the Suns and saying "hey...let's see if you put someone else here now." IMO
The Mavs are interested in Nash and Lin for their PG. Does anyone think that Lin might have been a (fluke isn't the word I'm looking for here) but...maybe played above his actual level? I know he was pretty solid @ Harvard but not sure about him going forward. I think Nash in Dallas would be a great fit.

Total Awards: 10Nash is going to go to Toronto, where he will get paid way more money and will give people a reason to go to raptors games. they worship nash in canada.
in other news, joe johnson getting paid 90 million dollars over 4 years was not a joke, that actually happened. with derron williams staying, and howard more than likely coming in, brooklyn is going to be way way way way way over the cap.

Might want to put a hold on that. The Knicks are trying to put a sign-and-trade deal with the Suns for Nash

Total Awards: 16As much as I like Steve Nash, I didn't want to see him go to the Lakers. Oh well, I guess this may be his best chance at winning a championship but I still don't see them being able to take out the Spurs, Heat, Boston, or Thunder either way.

Total Awards: 6Nearly forgot to post the reason I came here.
Ray Allen signed with the Miami Heat. Allen took less money to go to Miami (so I'm guessing he signed for the opportunity to win another ring). The Heat were only able to offer the taxpayer's exception that starts at $3.09 million next season and can go out a maximum of three years and $9.5 million.

Why would he go/get traded to the Suns? Same with the Spurs. If he goes to a western team, it will either be Los Angeles Lakers or Dallas Mavericks. In my opinion, it would be the latter. He doesn't want to play with Kobe Bryant.

), and he looks like the "exception" for the roster. Making him a prime target for trading or releasing (most likely trade).
