The match got much better as soon as the blackout was over.

Glad the Ravens won. Afterall, they did a great season and took out Denver and their OP'd Manning, plus the Pats and their overrated Brady.

Congrats to my Home State team the Baltimore Ravens. Joe Flacco proved a lot of people wrong in these playoffs including myself. I said before the game i would like to see him throw for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns. He got 287 yards and 3 touchdowns.

If the power outage didn't happened it may of been a lopsided game.

Well, this sucks for me and my Niners. Glad they were able to fight back and make a game out of it but couldn't quite get it done. Just the way it goes sometimes. We are still a pretty young team so we'll see you all next year

Congrats to the Ravens and the "other" Harbough. maybe now Joe can be viewed as an elite QB

Same here. I wasn't going to turn it off because, well, it's the Super Bowl. I did stop paying attention once they returned to playing after the power outage, and a couple of minutes later I glanced over at the screen and nearly shit myself at how fast the Niners had made it into a game.

Great game indeed (even though Baltimore was whoopin that ass!! ) Congrats Ray Lewis!!! You went out as a true champ. What a way to go into retirement. Gonna be strange not seeing #52 out there anymore. 1st ballot H.O.F for sure!!!

Seriously? Two of the most penalized teams in the League.... a National Football League with an increasing emphasis on the offensive passing game and flags for Illegal Contact and Defensive Holding.... and the referees left their whistles and flags in their pockets the entire night. I heard a fair amount of scuttlebutt during the week that Jerome Bogar's crew was hand-picked for this game and the NFL simply fudged the evaluations during the season to make it happen. Now I see why. Not saying that San Francisco wouldn't have scored with it being 1st-and-Goal from inside the three yard line.... but the odds of them winning the game would have been enormous.

I hate officials in all sports who refuse to call anything in the closing minutes of a close playoff game "out of fear that we'll affect the outcome". Congratulations, your refusal to call penalties affected the outcome.... and the players know this well enough to take extra liberties!

Well for the 5th year in a row i predicted the Superbowl winner and wasn't it a great game in the end, but i do tend to think without power outage it probably would've been a blowout.

Now time to play some Madden till next season in which hopefully my Dallas Cowboys will be in and win the Superbowl
