For anyone wondering Eve's title loss last night was also her last match for the WWE. She is leaving to focus on the women's self defense program she has been designing as well as getting on with her personal life.

Total Awards: 7Just watched the SmackDown main event, and was that awesome, I love matches like that, and shows like that.

Here's a scenario I read and I think it would be pretty funny if it happened.
Say Ziggler wins the Rumble and gets a match at Mania. He then loses the match and proceeds to bitch-slap the champion with his briefcase, cashes it in and then wins the title. I think it's funny because I can picture Ziggler doing that.

RANDOM QUESTION FRIDAY:
Which era did you enjoy most? Golden, Gimmick (Early-Mid 90s), Attitude, Ruthless, or PG?

The Attitude Era. I started watching wrestling through the gimmick era, but it was the attitude era that grabbed me the most. Ruthless wasn't too bad, but PG is just blah.

Total Awards: 16Which era would Mr. Perfect, Ravishing Rick Rude, The Ultimate Warrior, etc fall into? I'm going to say the gimmick era so I'll vote for that. Back then everyone built up rivalries which are much better than today and every belt actually meant something instead of just the World Heavyweight titles. Also, each wrestlers character was larger than life and you loved or hated them with a passion.

Total Awards: 7I think the 'Gimmick' era was called the New Generation era.
My favourite would be the Ruthless Agression era since I started watching around that time.
But when I look back at the Attitude era via videos, it really does seem like the best era.

I was thinking it would be great if Ziggler had a non-title match with the WHC and got himself intentionally DQ'ed at the beginning of the match. Then he could cash in and win the title.
I'm going to have to go with the Attitude Era. Mostly because they had legitimate competition from WCW. I just wish we'd had a DVR back then.

If you're referring to the late 80's when Warrior and Rude had their year long issues (including the hilarious SUPER posedown) then this would fall into what WWE refers to as the Rock N' Wrestling era.
And I'll second this, this was my favorite era as well. Feuds were longer without feeling rushed or overused and in-ring styles varied but meshed to create diverse and different matches throughout the shows.

Which is a real shame since a good manager can do wonders when paired with the right character. Now they seem to want every wrestler to be able to cut his or her own promos, but you can't tell me a guy like Jack Swagger wouldn't have gotten over much better if he was just the straight muscle and had a guy like Jimmy Hart or Bobby Heenan to verbally bash his opponents for him.

I guess I'd have to say Ruthless agression era since I first started watching wwe like 2005 and unfortunately missed the Attitude Era moments but there were still some good moments while I was watching it with good storylines. I think Ive got the right Era. PG doesnt seem to have many good storylines to remember. Atleast they decided to create a memorable storyline with Cm Punk

I agree completely. I'm old enough to have started watching WCCW, and some of the great managers from there, including Percy Pringle, and how they elevated guys (and gals) that couldn't talk, and only enhanced the talent that could talk. Bobby Heenan was epic as a manager that could take guys like the Powers of Pain and Haku, and give them that extra dimension. He was just as excellent as a booster for those that could talk, just as the Brainbusters and Rude. I also thought that Raven was a good mouthpiece for the Flock.
As a face, it was always a good buildup watching guys like Bossman run the gauntlet through the Heenan Family, or watching Benoit run the gauntlet through Raven's Flock. It gave a mid card types a feather to put into their caps to say that they defeated an entire stable, rather than having Bossman have a one month feud with Mr. Perfect, and letting that be that.
If Heyman had a stable of the Shield, Swagger, and Punk, wouldn't it be just a bit more epic to have someone like Ryback have to go through member after member during the smaller PPVs, and deal with Punk at a major PPV at the end? All the while, you'd have Heyman talking up guys like Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, and Swagger for those smaller ones, making a program fresh, rather than three Punk vs Ryback matches?
PS-
By the way, congrats to eternalunderdog for hitting level 25!!!!

I just want to take a second to point something out:
It sucks re-watching WWF Over The Edge 1999 and KNOWING Owen Hart will die. Not easy to cope with.
