Hello fellow trophy hunters. My name is Branden. I am married with 2 children living in Western New York. I served in the USN for 4 years with 2 years in the Reserves afterward (1995-2001). I went to college for Computer Science and now work as a Network Administrator. I have been casually gaming since Atari 5200. I started spending much more time gaming when the NES was released (with it's stellar 8-bit graphics, haha). As time went on I tried the Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, and so on until I purchased my first Sony Playstation. One of my favorite games for that console was Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. I'm not sure why but, I had a difficult time converting from the d-pad controller to the joystick controllers (N64, PS2...). I ultimately conquered it and now there's no way I could go back.
I purchased the PS3 with high hopes and excitement for GTAIV as I had just finished playing GTA: San Andreas on the PS2. I found it to be a huge disappointed though; I gave it about a month and moved on. I have been going back to it every now and again but, still have a bad taste in my mouth.
I earned my firsttrophy with Dragon Age: Origins and have been hooked ever since. I started coming to this site while playing Red Dead Redemption (November 2010) and can't get enough. Well, that's about it. Thank you for browsing my trophy catalog and feel free to leave a comment.

This was a great continuation of the Mass Effect Series. I would say "conclusion" but, I believe I read somewhere that Bioware denied that this will be the final game in the series. We may end up seeing some sort of branch-off I guess.... who knows.
I rather enjoyed this game. The difficulty of Insanity was not near as difficult as the 2nd game. The AI was definitely smarter and employed strategy against you but, that is easily thwarted with a little common sense and battlefield management. I enjoyed the fact that not all enemies were loaded up with shields, armor, barriers, and health (as they were in ME2). The story was a great continuation IMO and I rather enjoyed the Ending(s). The overall feel of the game was much better too... I didn't feel like I was grinding for materials for hours on end via a boring planetary scanner interface. The only pet-peeve I really have/had about the whole experience was the cover system. I hate the fact that you use X for everything from cover to run, dodge, etc... I get hung up on cover and walls all the time and it's pretty frustrating
This was not all that difficult of a Platinum but, it did take me almost 70 hours of SP time between my 2 playthroughs. Plus I have countless hours of MP logged, haha. This will be one of those games that I will continue to play (especially MP). I would definitely recommend this game for a great story, experience, and very doable

The Most Difficult: Unwavering
This is really hard to accomplish in MP. I ended up taking the SP route and completing all Missions, Side Missions, N7 Missions, etc... on Insanity. It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected though.
The Longest: Gunsmith
This trophy took me forever. I ended up unlocking it in SP on my 2nd playthrough.
Collectible(s):
Collectibles in this game can be summed up in the Galaxy at War portion of the game. It's fairly straight forward. You can boost your readiness rating via MP, Mass Effect: Infiltrator iPhone game, or the ME3 Datapad app. All are pretty simple and will increase the rating. You start at 50% and will never fall below that. You also complete little side quests for War Assets as well as the main missions and such. A little time consuming but overall not bad. It's a much better system for collectibles than previous titles IMO.

I signed back up for GameFly with the sole intention of grabbing some "Kiddie" games to boost my PSN level and platinum count. This is the 5th game in that series.
The gameplay was pretty decent but just about everything else was horrid. The graphics were very fuzzy and just not good. The voice acting was out of sync and substandard. It felt like they threw this pile of shit together for trophy whores and kids young enough not to care about HD (or quality games for that matter). The game probably would have looked ok on a Standard definition TVIn addition to terrible sound and graphics, the levels "repeated" to lengthen the game. You literally had to about 5 areas for each Master's path. However, in order to make the path take longer than 10 minutes, they made you circle back around the same areas for more enemy fights lol. Truly pathetic and unfortunate as I really like the Movies and TV show.
I'm not sure if I would recommend this game for fun but, it's definitely an easy![]()

The Most Difficult: Shakabooie!
The Gold was probably the "hardest" of the collectibles to find because they placed several of them up toward the top of the screen. Since you have no control over the camera angle, these were a little tricky to spot at times.
The Longest: Ridiculously Awesome
For this you had to find all 600 pieces of Steel scattered throughout the game. This went into the "Longest" category because it was the last collectible - of this type - that I finished up.
Collectible(s):
There were several collectibles in this game that were among the annoying and worthless variety. None of these were really all that difficult but, they were a little glitchy and placed in spots that were not obvious on how to get back to like a room where you fight a boss. Some required you to go back to areas after unlocking a new Chi power as well so they could easily be overlooked/missed.

I signed back up for GameFly with the sole intention of grabbing some "Kiddie" games to boost my PSN level and platinum count. This is the 4th game in that series. I'm really diggin' these PG-rated games :eyebrows: I love the play style and the fact that they utilize 3rd person perspective. This game was pretty fun and added a little extra story to the movie which I thought was pretty cool. The gameplay is easy and the progression is pretty fast. Most of the trophies were of the variety that you don't need to worry about them. There were a couple exceptions to that and I have noted them in the full write-up (see below).
I ended up playing the last half of the game in co-op with my daughter so progression got a little slower but, she had a ton of fun, haha.
I definitely recommend this game for the fun and easy![]()

The Most Difficult: Dishin' Out!
On the first few Acts, the Foodpods were out in the open and located in obvious places. As you progressed through the game however, they became a little harder to locate. There were a few in the earlier levels that required you to upgrade your equipment before you could claim them as well. Not too bad in the actual difficulty department though. Be diligent while progressing through the levels and you'll have no problem.
The Longest: Dishin' Out!
See comments above ^
Collectible(s):
Just about every trophy on this list is a "collectible". The Hydroponic Foodpods will need your attention and I feel the need to point out the Sugar Slayer(Kill 25 Marshmallows by cutting) trophy as well; you only have 1 level that offers you the ability to "cut" the giant marshmallows and that is only after your Knife is fully upgraded. You can farm the kills by replaying Act 4 "Mount Foody"; go all the way to the end of the level where you must kill a couple waves of enemies to progress. Now, run all the way to the left and slice up the Marshmallow; jump off the edge (toward the screen) and repeat until you have the trophy.
The vast majority of the other trophies are obtained via normal gameplay.

I have been curious about this game for quite some time now. I remember when I started really checking out other CLs I saw this game everywhere. Recently, I read a post about the EA servers for several games are shutting down April 13, 2012. Well, that was just enough to take my spark of interest right up to flame, haha. I picked it up in the PS Store for $9.99.
This game was pretty decent. I have no idea where it came from (whether a TV show or Movie or some other 3rd place) but, the storyline wasn't bad. None of the levels were all that difficult especially since you respawn in almost the exact same place when you die. The only penalty for death is a loss of 300-500 coins (didn't pay that much attention to it as it didn't happen often).
I really loved the fact that there were no stupid mini-games or unrelated BS for this platinum. Play the game, collect the stuff, ding! Sweeeeet!
I definitely recommend this game for the fun and easy![]()

The Most Difficult: Ship's Engineer
Collecting all the Ship Parts wasn't too terrible but, you did have to revisit several levels after upgrading your equipment.I also remember having some difficulty with a few of the parts either finding them or actually getting to them once you did locate them.
The Longest: Blingbot
For this trophy you must collect 1,000,000 coins. These are cumulative and the money you spend on upgrades does count. When I finished the story I had roughly 600,000 and set out for a nice long grind, haha. It really wasn't too terrible actually. I had to replay several levels to get the Ship parts so I gained a bunch more there and finished up by grinding Jungle Approach Zone 1 (the 2nd level in the game). If you rush through this level making sure to scan all the surroundings as you go and enter the tunnel inside the tree stump (near the well) you can easily get 65,000+ coins per run.
Collectible(s):
You were required to collect Ship parts, Robot Parts (upgrades), and coins in this game. The ship parts were the only annoying ones because you had to come back to the levels after upgrading your robot to get them. Fortunately the game insta-saves that progress and you can simply quit out once you have the missed parts.

This was free for PS+ subscribers so I scooped it up. I'd heard good things about the Sly Cooper series and had no personal experience with it. Why not give it a try, right? The price was right afterall, haha.
This game was quite stress free and fun to play and the story line was interesting and entertaining. A little effort was definitely required to get through this one, for me. I had a great time playing the normal campaign (controlling Sly Cooper) but, the "mini-games" where you had to race - or whatever - were a pain in the ass; I really dislike those types of elements in games where the gameplay is totally different.
A couple of the boss fights were a minor challenge (Mz. Ruby and Clockwork). I say Mz Ruby because it actually took me 3 tries to make it through the QTE-like "fight". Clockwork was a joke except that I couldn't figure out where the hell I was supposed to go in the 3rd leg of that fight. I kept dying in the damn lava. Once I landed (accidentally, mind you) on the little platform, I was like, really? lolol
Other than potentially not knowing where to go for a few seconds every once in a while, this game was an easythat I would recommend to old and young alike. I'm definitely going to be checking out the sequels in the future.

The Longest: Greedy Racoon
For this trophy you must open all Vaults in the game. The Vaults are where you find pieces of the Thevious Racoonous whereby you learn a new skill. In order to unlock the Vaults, you must collect all the bottles in their respective levels. The number of bottles per level was 25-40 so it took a little effort. No guide is really needed for this if you keep your eyes open and search around a bit as you are progressing through the game.
Collectible(s):
There were 25-40 bottles on most levels that you were required to find. They were, for the most part, right out in the open and easily located by just playing normally. I had a couple levels that I missed 1-3 but, with the level select you can hop right back to the action and clean them up easily. There were also 3 coin related trophies but, you would have a hard time not getting them even if you were purposefully avoiding coins.

I signed back up for GameFly with the sole intention of grabbing some "Kiddie" games to boost my PSN level and platinum count. This is the 3rd game in that series. Once again, this was very enjoyable. I enjoy watching the Penguins on TV with the kids and the game was no different. It was fairly linear and straight forward with basically no stress. The entire game was more about "solving puzzles" in order to progress than fighting off foes. You are charged with a particular task of collecting parts to build some machine for each level. To reach the different parts, you are required to use each of the 4 penguins - and their particular special abilities - in an overall collaborative team effort. There literally wasn't a single enemy or boss fight throughout the entire campaign.
In addition to the story, there were mini-games that you had to purchase with collected "currency" (Snowcones) from King Julien. There were 3 different games:
Each of these mini-games were fairly fun and quite easy for
- Mort Bowling - literally a 10-pin bowling game
- Dance Party - series of QTEs
- Ninja Pins - you had to defend a central position while ninja pins attacked from 4 corners
trophies, haha. If you absolutely suck at these games, you can still earn the trophies by re-playing several times because the requirements are cumulative. There were a couple collectible trophies (see below) and all other trophies in this game were story/campaign related.
I definitely recommend this game to old and young alike.

You are required to find 3 Chameleons per level for this trophy. This is not very difficult in most cases. A couple of the levels made this a little challenging though.

You could fly through this game if you weren't diligently looking in every nook and cranny for those little lizards. I found myself backtracking, sidetracking, etc... in order to make sure I wasn't missing anything. The experience was fun though so it didn't bother be in the slightest.
Collectible(s):
The collectibles were in a couple different forms. You had to collect Snowcones throughout the entire game. These work as currency for King Julien's shop where you can purchase mini-games (required for someTrophies); other than that the Snowcones were worthless.
There were the Cameleons (3 per level) that you had to hunt down for a... only a few proved to be a little tricky to find/spot.
Finally, there were 3 mini-games... 2 of these required you to accumulate points/pins across multiple plays of each.

So continues the super hero craze that i'm currently working through. This was a fun game. The graphics were pretty good and the story was interesting to say the least. I enjoyed the Spider facts that popped up during the loading screens!!
I really struggled with the difficulty of fighting all the enemies (especially bosses) at first. Once I developed an actual strategy to tackle them it smoothed out for me; you really can't just button mash your way through this game.
Playing as the 2 different Spider-Man characters was a very unique approach and offered a fun experience. The collectibles were'nt too bad and the Web Challenges - except the Freefall events - were not overly difficult. Hard mode was the same as Normal mode to me... wtf? Maybe it's because I developed a fighting strategy and had all the upgrades? Plus the fact that you can blaze through most of the Hard mode run without a fight; you just need to utilize your spider sense/enhanced vision to locate the door keys and kill only those enemies. I think it took only a couple hours to blast through Hard mode doing it that way

The vast majority of the web challenges were not too difficult. The Freefall events were a huge pain in my assI can't tell you how many times it took me to get through each of them; I contemplated walking away from the game to take a multi-week break. Through persistance (and a littel alcohol), I eventually made it through them though. For some strange reason the game would freeze when trying to restart the freefall events; I had to hard reset the PS3 several times
Maybe the game was trying to tell me something?
The Longest: Spider Snagger Supreme
For this trophy you must collect all Golden Spiders. There are quite a few of them and many are in very hidden/obscure locations. I played through the game the 1st time looking for them via the in-game spider sense thingy and found enough to purchase most of upgrades. I played through on Hard looking for all the missed spiders from the 1st run and found a few more but, not all
I finally broke down and used a guide to find the remaining 4 spiders to finish up the trophy.
Collectible(s):
There were a few types of collectibles in this game but the actual collectibles doubled as currency to purchase upgrades and new abilites so they added some value to the gameThere were also a few kill x enemies, do a certain move x times, etc... These were very simple though and most were obtained via normal gameplay. Overall the collectibles were'nt bad. Chapter select made cleaning up the Golden Spiders fairly painless as well.

The single player was really great and the only real difficult parts (during the Professional playthrough) were the Library boss and the damn Cupids at the gate in the final chapter. The latter took me 4-5 tries where I finally made it through by going super quick. I was trying to dodge and strategize only to fail! The Most Difficult: Gozer's Most Wanted
This trophy requires you to successfully complete all maps on all job types. That's 48 matches. Successfully completed is where this one gets you because you have to make it to the very end completing everything in the particular job type (i.e. Complete all 10 waves of survival). You can complete the jobs - gaining a Victory - even though you didn't make it to the bitter end however, those victories don't count toward this trophy. Some of the levels were quite challenging and Survival in Egypt glitches 4/5 times in my experience with it. The level just hangs when you get to Wave 7 or 8; this forces you to either quit out or cross the streams to end the match... either of these methods renders the map/job a failure and doesn't count![]()
The Longest: Overachiever
So this trophy was a major pain in the a$$. Based on the requirements, I should have earned this much sooner than I did. I played every night for a few hours with friends and randoms alike and it took days to finally pop up. I had 4x the money required and probably close to 2x the required number of jobs completed. I have a feeling the requirement is very misleadingly worded. All I can say is keep playing and it should eventually pop up for you.
Collectible(s):
The collectibles in this game were actually pretty fun. There were 2 types:
- PKE Scans of all the Ghosts you encounter - this is cool because you can learn about the ghosts and the scans show you the enemy's weakness(es); plus you get Cash for each 100% scan that allows you to upgrade your equipment.
- Cursed Artifacts - these little items are a little less cool but, offer you money toward upgrades and there aren't that many in comparison to other games.

I went into this game figuring it was going to take some grinding and for the most part be pretty easy. Both were true, haha. The story was pretty short (2.5 hours roughly?) but, you had to complete it 4 times (once with each Owl species). The only real difficulty came with the Fast Flying bonus mission challenges. They are of the variety where you must race through checkpoint rings... I hate these little mini-game sections of games
I also recall a couple of the missions requiring me to play them again (focusing on the specific requirement) to get the gold medal.
After all was said and done, this game was pretty darn good. The flying battles were quite fun and the story was pretty cool too. My only issue with the story was the lack of cinematic scenes between missions. Usually, you get some sort of cool animated scene... not so much in this game; the story was composed of still images and narration... meh.
I would definitely recommend this to anybody as it is fairly engaging for adults and kid friendly (unless you happen to rage during the Fast Flying challenges, haha). Easy to Moderate difficuly and a pretty quickexperience.

Well, these are the little gold coins floating around the levels. You must collect 4,200 of them for this trophy. This trophy is not cumulative across multiple playthroughs which, in my opinion, is why it took the longest to earn. As a frame of reference, I ended my 100% playthrough with roughly 2,400 Shinies... I picked this game up for the easy Platinum and although I never saw the movie, I was/am interested in doing so. The game was really not too bad (I had low expectations)... I had fun playing through it. The Hard difficulty was not hard at all, I think I only died 2 times toward the end of the game but, I was button mashingand not blocking anything, haha. The collectibles unlocked in-game cheats that could be used to assist you in hunting down the trophies so they weren't too bad and the length of the story was perfect IMO. Each chapter took 15-30 minutes depending on how you play (extra killing, exploration, etc). If you start out on Hard (which you'd be a fool not to) you will get 3

The graphics and story were decent and this game offers a very easy and enjoyable Platinum experience. I would highly recommend this game to anybody.

The Most Difficult: Captain
For this you must Ride Carol without crashing; The camera acts goofy and is set low behind Carol so your view is heavily obstructed. It was not overly difficult but, the hardest trophy in the game IMO... The other trophy - similar to this - where you must pilot the boat without crashing was a little easier due to a better camera angle and less obstructed view.
The Longest: Universe
This trophy requires you to collect 95 Stars. These little buggers were the most difficult to find of all the collectibles and some were quite far off the beaten path. Once you have the "Treasure Hunter" cheat, these become much easier though.
Collectible(s):
The collectibles in this game unlock in-game cheats that actually help you with the... it doesn't get any better than that (except if they just aren't there, haha). There are 8 different collectibles (7 of these have 60 each) with the main one having 95 items to find; most of these items are in plain view and are difficult to miss if you're like me and have to smash everything you see
Couple notes about the unlocked Cheats: If you don't have all your hearts yet, you can not enable to "Invulnerable" cheat as it disables your ability to gain "XP"... just turn it off and finish up your XP grind then you can re-enable it.
The "Riding Carol Cheat" and "Boat Cheat" are almost worthless but, we'll take whatever assistance we can get right?
"Instant Defeat" (one hit kills) and "Treasure Hunter" (compass-like feature that shows you where nearby items are) will be very useful as you are replaying chapters to clean up any missed collectibles.

So I seem to have a knack for picking the more challenging "kid" games, haha. This one was yet another game based on an animated film and there were a bunch of annoying trophy requirement s that required some significant effort. The characters were good and there was an actual story line in this which helped get me through it
I rather enjoyed the Scenes where you play as The Missing Link... they were combat oriented and fun (my kind of gameplay). Ginormica scenes were next in line; most of the levels were pretty easy once you knew where stuff was. I absolutely hated the B.O.B. levelsespecially the Challenges.
Overall this game is Easy to Moderate (depending how you tackle the Gold Trophies).

The Most Difficult: Remember the Heroes
This game is not all that difficult in the traditional sense however, this trophy required you to "die" fewer than 10 times throughout the whole story. To me, this means you can't die at all because one could easily lose track of how many times you died and of course you will want to save any deaths for later in the game. In order to get around the death (if you happen to fall or run out of health) is to completely quit the game with the PS buttonNot only did this seem to take forever, you also had to start over at the beginning of the section you were in. Checkpoints do nothing for you unless you don't care about dying.
Collectible(s):
These were among the annoying variety where they add nothing to the game (no upgrades/unlocks awarded for completion). There were also a ton of kill x enemy or do something y times trophies but, they were all quite simple to accomplish; you just had to know what they were.
The 2 big ones were not bad once you figured out a way to farm them... see my post here: Monsters vs. Aliens Trophy Guide - Discussion - PS3 Trophies Forum

This was a cute game. I enjoyed the movie and my children love the whole theme so this game seemed like a no-brainer. My 7 year old daughter actually helped me out with the 20 hour playtime; I gave her the controller when I wanted to take a break and she had fun running around talking to people, gathering items, and tackling chickens/sheep lol.
The leveling system comprised of Wild Fights, Tournaments, Training, and Challenges. The challenges were quite tricky (especially once you got to Expert difficulty) and I struggled with them at first. Maybe this is due to the fact that I was bored to death and not really enjoying the whole experience.
The game was really fun at first but, quickly became a chore as it was just a lot of training (1 vs 1 fighting). I'm not the biggest 1 vs 1 fighting style game (like Tekken or MK) and this really felt like it fell under that umbrella. After the story is completed, you must do it all over again with the other "main character"; at least by this time you should be good enough that you only need to train up a single dragon and blast through the tournaments.
Arcade mode was more of the same old fighting 1 vs 1 where you had to win with every dragon, blah, blah. You had to have 100 wins total and 50 of those Perfect wins. Meh... I got really bored really quick.
Overall this game was a little fun but, with a ton of repetition. The platinum was no cakewalk and required 25+ hours. I wasn't expecting this at all from a "kid game".

This game was a serious time sink. When I started this game back in May 2011 I was overwhelmed by the trophy list, and really confused while trying to prioritize all the crap flying in on the timeline. I figured with trophy requirements like kill 72,000 zombies you'd be able to have fun stomping in zombie brains.... nope. The timeline is very finite and you must dedicate an entire playthrough to specific tasks. I ended up going through the game 2 times solo (for all the trophies, collectibles, etc), 1 time in co-op (which was a slight nightmare), and 2 times for the 72,000 kill trophy (don't ask)
The sheer volume of collectible style trophies are enough to throw anybody off of this Platinum IMO.... seriously, it's ridiculous. The game is overly difficult in the beginning (especially when involving the Psychopaths) however, once you reach level 50 it's not a challenge at all anymore. The final boss is the only real challenge at that point. Grab your checklists prior to starting and be ready for a grind.
This game is actually really fun in co-op (if you can find a partner) if you aren't worried about the Case Files or other specific goals. It's pretty fun to just run around killing zombies together, haha. Overall, I would recommend this game for fun but, for the trophy hunters our there... beware.

This trophy requires a dedicated playthrough consisting of... Game begins, sprint straight to Jack's BBQ to grab Driving Magazine, sprint to Silver Strip and get in Hummber, run over Zombies for 6-7 hours, ding. The only thing worse than having to do this trophy is realizing you don't have enough time to get all the kills because you screwed around too much and having to do it all over again. My first attempt would have been fine had I not tried to set it up for the recording at the end. I had a brain fart thinking I only needed 70,000. I ran around to get the weapons/parts I wanted to use to finish up the game while recording it in my usual fashion on my iphone. Well, come to find out... I didn't leave myself enough time to actually get 72,000 killsSo 7 painfully boring hours later... ding.
Collectible(s):
There are a plethora of collectibles in this game ranging from Use all weapon type to save 50 survivors, to visit every single store/shack. This will be a major time sink and I would recommend you get the checklist(s) out prior to starting the game for the first time. Mark down every thing you use as a weapon and all clothes you put on as well as every location you go into. The whole game felt like a big collectible fest.

Man alive! I'm digging the Super Hero games! This was fantastic all the way around. The gameplay was smooth, the graphics were good, the story was good, etc...
This game offered a third-person play experience with a bunch of cool upgrade powers. It felt slightly similar to the GoW series as far as the controls and camera but really offered a unique experience. My only critique for this game (if you are going for the- which who here isn't, haha) is the annoying XP grind when all was said and done. Well, this is the 1st of hopefully a series of the Super Hero based games... I really enjoyed this one. The gameplay was fun and it ties into the way the Movie was fairly well. I loved the fact that there were no difficulty based trophies allowing me to just play on Easy (yeah, you heard me correctly... Easy) and enjoy the experience. Seriously, what's the point in having to hit a guy 50 times (on "Insane difficulty") to take him down?... it adds nothing to the story or gameplay except frustration. This was a very quick platinum for me and I would definitely recommend this game to all.

This may take a minor amount of grinding in the Challenge Modes depending on how thorough you were throughout the Chapters and finding those little intel folders/briefcases. Overall not too bad though. I feel as though I was very thorough and didn't get this until my 3rd or 4th challenge after completing the story.
Collectible(s):
There were a ton of collectible style trophies for this game. None were really that hard though IMO. I didn't utilize a guide because all the collectibles were easily located by using the Captain's special vision (Up on the D-pad) or were marked on the in-game map. If you are fairly thorough while roaming around during the Chapters, you will notice a pretty standard pattern of where the collectibles are placed. I believe there are actually more than you need in there as well so you can afford to miss a couple along the way.

I rather enjoyed the game. I admit, I did this for the trophies but, I have to say that as a fan of the TV shows it was a decent game. I liked the fact that all the Cases were tied together in a grand scheme. Getting 100% on thoroughness was BS because you had to visit areas/sections that were irrelevant to solving the particular case you were on. Other than that, most things were obvious and there really was no failure criteria per se. The actor models (game characters) were lame and the voice acting on Catherine was exceptionally awful.
Overall this is a pretty decent game and i'm glad I picked it up. Thewas easy (especially if you follow a guide).

This can be tricky due to the fact that you can't make a mistake in processing any of the evidence in the case file you are working on. There are usually multiple forensic tests that need to be performed like DNA analysis, Macroscopic matching, etc... I recommend using a guide to save any frustration.
Collectible(s):
Due to the nature of the game, the whole thing was one big collectible adventure. You must collect a bunch of evidence throughout each case file. Not only do you collect the evidence, you must then process it and follow that up with interrogations. There are no collect x items though or y kills with a specific weapon though.

I got this unexpectedly for Christmas and was very happily surprised. It came with the Top Shot Elite (which is prettyBTW). There was a minimal "story" that was okay; this was completely irrelevant though due to the sweet graphics and addictive gameplay. The Top Shot was a little odd getting used to at first but, I don't know if I would have liked the game as much with a regular controller. This one can be very frustrating. I was using the Top Shot Elite and it still took me about 5 tries (of course, I didn't fail 'til the very last segment so it was especially frustrating); for that matter, it may have been easier with the DualShock
So, load up the the first Reflex challenge (it's the easiest IMO) and take care to shoot the animals in the correct order. If you goof up, just let the timer run down and restart that segment. You will know you got all the animals in the correct order by receiving the big green colored bonus at the end of each segment. NOTE: You will only get a certain number of attempts per segment (not sure how many... 3-5?).
The last segment of this Gallery is a bit of a pain; you MUST get the 1st 2 animals before the camera pans up to the mountain ledge. On this 1st ledge you should be able to get all but 1 of the remaining animals. The final pan to the top offers you 2 Wild Boar to choose from... get 1 of them and if you didn't make any mistakes on the order throughout, the trophy is yours.
Collectible(s):
There were a few "Collectible" trophies in the game and none of them were very difficult. Shoot x number of Birds in Story mode, x number of small game land animals, find 7 Hidden Areas...
These are all cumulative through your levels so you can keep replaying certain hunts to get several small game kills; once you hit a checkpoint, you can then quit or restart the level.
The Hidden Areas aren't very tough to find but, I think you can "cheat" by finding the same Hidden Area 7 times. My trophy unlocked after finding the Hidden Area in the Intro for the 2nd time (after going through the story mode and finding 6 of the areas throughout).

This game was very unique. I have never played anything like it and really didn't like it for the first hour or so (pretty typical for me). Once I started getting used to how the controls worked and what to expect, I was able to enjoy the game. The story is pretty compelling and I really enjoyed it the 1st time through. After this playthrough, I started following the Guide for Perfect Crime. Shortly thereafter I realized you can't skip cinematic sequences or dialogue

This is definitely the best AC game for me to date. The online was not ridiculously overbearing and the story was excellent. This would have been 5/5 for me but, I wasn't too thrilled with the FP Desmond sequences; fortunately they were fairly short and not very difficult. The installment of the Hookblade was top notch and the fact that you start the game with several techniques/skills that you learned in the last game was great too. It just felt like the game continued rather than starting over on some parallel memory journey.
None of the trophies were difficult in this game but, did require some special attention. Honestly, this is one of my favorite trophy sets of any game i've played so far. There were more collectibles in this one but, as with everything else, they added to the story and had an important impact on progression.

I didn't really have overly high expectations for this game as sequels don't usually live up IMO. This game was almost a carbon copy of the awesomeness of the 1st one though (in respect to the gameplay and progression). There were nice changes as far as the enemies and the story was a great continuation. The degree of difficulty seemed to be stepped up for this one but, once you get used to the mechanics of Cole's movement, tweak your pan speeds/sensitivity, et cetera you will have little trouble. It's a little annoying that it takes 5 headshots to take down a normal enemy but, what else can you really do to make Hard Difficulty hard I guess.
Anywho, the new addition of Conduit allies was fantastic (especially gaining their abilities later on). The online portion of the game (UGC or User Generated Content) was a bit of a let down but, at least the trophy requirements were as online trophies should be... simple.
Overall this game does a great job of bringing you up to speed if you are new to the InFamous "series" and also does well referencing the previous game for those who are already fans. This game deserves a playthrough (or two) and is a very reasonable.

This game was a pretty good fishing game. Thewas quite easy and really only involved a little bit of a time investment to complete the Lake Challenges. There really wasn't a ton of grinding and the Tournament mode was very easy and short. If you're looking for an easy Platinum, this game could be for you. The graphics weren't too bad and where this game really shined was the detail of the lakes along with the water effects while driving the boat.

I picked this game up for the purpose of playing co-op with a friend. We played through the campaign together and had a lot of fun doing so. I really like the storyline and had fun with all the SP trophies. The online trophies weren't too bad until you get to King of the Hill and Survival of the Fittest. These trophies made me give up on the Platinum for almost a year. I also experienced the glitch with the DLC trophies - which sucked. I ended up getting around the glitch by installing the game on a friend's PS3. I linked my account and played through the DLC earning all the glitched trophies. It's a pain in the rear end but, it works. Anywho, after taking several months off, I got back into this game with the motivation needed to grind out the platinum. I hooked up with some great people and had tons of boosting sessions for King of the Hill. This took me roughly a month of boosting to get the 3 MP trophies I needed.![]()

I remember being fairly excited about this game when I first saw the advertisements. I almost never pick up a game a launch so, as with most games, I got into this fairly late in the game and missed the "curve" here on the site. SP was fun and a few of the test chambers were irritating. I remember taking forever to figure out how to finish off the "final boss" only to realize I was being a dumb ass the whole time. Actually that's how all the chambers were. If you were "on your game" they were simple but, if you had any kind of mental block or lack of focus, they could be challenging. Co-op was a blast but, with 2 heads and sets of eyes, it was ridiculously simple. Thank you antoniosbandana for your help with all the MP trophies! I definitely recommend this game if you like a little puzzle solving by way of creative thinking.

This was my first game with a more "kiddie" feel to it. Not sure how to say that, haha. I don't know if i'll ever jump onboard with the kiddie games like Up, Shrek, etc... I'm sure this was pretty close to how those game are. The game was fun and the whimsical characters were both silly and comical. The really great thing about this game is that my kids were engaged and laughing while I played. Mr. Zurcon wasand some of the weapons were a riot to use. The game was not difficult and had the usual/standard collectible style trophies. Overall fun game and easy

This was one of my first PS3 games. I absolutely love this game and have probably beaten it 10 times. The gameplay is fun and Alex's powers are really fun to play around with. The movement system for jumping, air-dashing, gliding was a little goofy for me at first but, once you master it you can go anywhere in the city in a real hurry. There's no MP which is a huge + IMO. Great story + decent graphics + awesome powers =game!

One of the better PS3 games IMO. The cinematic scenes were great and really made the whole game an experience. The story line is good with a very strong lead character. I borrowed this game from a friend and decided to give it a try due to all the hype there seems to be with the LittleBigPlanet games. My first impression was WTF, this is stupid. I really wasn't all that impressed but, decided to keep going as it might get better. The game never really got better but, I did start enjoying myself once I got my bearings. Now that I have completed the game and put in the time that I have online and offline, i'm actually contemplating getting the DLC for it. I'm a little confused as to whether I like the game enough to get LBP2. Anyway, this is not your typical PS3 game and does allow you to use your imagination for creating levels and/or "outfits". Overall it's a pretty decent game but, i'm not sure that I would recommend it.

This style of gameplay really suits me. I like the 3rd person perspective and all the free-roam capability. I don't always love being strictly tied down to specific mission progression. I like having choices in what I can do.This game fits that bill quite nicely. The story was good and blowing everything up is always quite fun. My only real complaint for this game was the ungodly amount of freeplay events (1,330+) that you had to grind through for the Platinum. Very easy Platinum due to no difficulty-specific trophies; just time consuming.

I got this game for the purpose of playing online with a friend. After reading through some of the forum topics, reviews, trophy guide, etc. I was pretty excited. I'll tell you what; about 5 minutes into it I couldn't stand it. The aiming system was killing me with the stupid little (barely visible) red dot laser sight. Since I had not had the chance to play the game with my friend yet, I decided to suck it up and keep trying. I must have died 5 times on 1-1 when the Executioner came out. After putting a little time in and upgrading the weapons I had a little, I started getting used to the terrible (IMO) aiming system and started really enjoying the story line. I had a great time hunting down the trophies in this game and would definitely recommend it.

Well, I have always enjoyed platforming games with puzzles and the like. The story was actually pretty interesting because it was different than your standard Sands of Time (rewind powers). The graphics were decent and the controls were pretty intuitive. Overall, I enjoyed the game. The Platinum was fairly easy and quick as well. This is one of my favorite PS3 games. I purchased this game prior to trophy hunting and played through both Good and Evil paths. This is one of those games I ended up going back to to get the Platinum. The crappy thing is I had a robbery where my PS3 (among other items) was stolen. As you can imagine, that sucked. All my saves up and vanished like a fart in the wind.
I came back to this game with the intention of getting the Platinum as I only needed a few trophies. So I plowed through the story on Evil. The story is great and Cole is a great main character. The powers you unlock and can upgrade are fun to just play around with. The Platinum was not the hardest in the world but, definitely offers a challenge. Those damn blast shards were annoying though.

I have always had a fondness for golf games. This was another purchase for the purpose of having a fun co-op game to go back to at any time. The trophies are pretty simple but, most will require you to actually try for them (i.e. not really too many that just come along the way through normal gameplay). There is a new mode called True-Aim that is pretty neat. You don't get the standard power meter and distance reticle; it's much more realistic. Overall fun game and pretty easy to Platinum.

Toggle Spoiler This game plays similar to Heavy Rain to me. You have limited control over the character and can choose items to interact with. Its a fun game with some quirky humor. The trophy set is fairly easy (especially if you follow a guide, haha) and shouldn't take more than a few hours for each chapter... faster if you skip any dialogue.

Toggle Spoiler This is my absolute favorite PSN title so far. I really enjoyed the inFAMOUS games and this stand-alone was a very nice extension of the inFAMOUS 2 sandbox. The powers were awesome and the trophy list was pretty quick/easy. I took my time and got through it in 4 1/2 hours.

The purpose here is to show that you can remove unwanted blocks by pressing yourtoward you block pair - at the last second - forcing the unwanted color on top where it then explodes; this leaves you with only 1 colored block (the one you wanted).
Lost Planet 2:

I absolutely love this game and will probably never get the Platinum. I am a little but hurt on this one because it was one of the games I had 200+ hours in on the old 60GB PS3 that was stolen during my robbery. I can't believe I am starting completely over on this game! If you have seen the trophy list, you know that a ton of them are ridiculous cumulative trophies (i.e. 300 chapter playthroughs).

This game is pretty sweet. I was slightly turned off due to the degree of difficulty in this game. I will definitely play this puppy but, I own it and for some reason I feel like I am wasting money if I don't get through my GameFly games. If I ever cancel/take a break from GameFly, this will be the first game I dedicate my time to.

I got this (as most did) as a freebie from Sony for the PSN outage of 2011. I never really got into and when I tried to play co-op with a friend we had nothing but connection issues. Maybe some day i'll go back to this.
EDIT: Finally got around to picking this up again and finished the campaign on Normal. It's not terrible but, definitely not my kind of game. I'm honestly not sure if i'll continue playing this or not now that I have most of the trophies.

I really don't enjoy FPS games. I thought to myself, "what better FPS to start with than a GotY?". It didn't matter how great the game was in the reviews... I still don't like FPS, haha. It took a lot of effort for me to even play through the story once. I don't know if i'll ever go back to this but, now I don't have a 0% sitting there. Phew.

Finally got all the information back in place and did some updates on my Stats and Goals. I've been toying with the idea of a v2.0 and making some fairly large changes. This CL is not quite what I originally planned in my head. We'll see how much time I have and want to dedicate to the project. Holy crap CLs can be a heafty chore to keep up to date.
I've also requested a sweet banner from cmgravekeeper (can't wait to see it!!) but, in the interim I threw together a little image of a few of my favorite characters.

In addition to terrible sound and graphics, the levels "repeated" to lengthen the game. You literally had to about 5 areas for each Master's path. However, in order to make the path take longer than 10 minutes, they made you circle back around the same areas for more enemy fights lol. Truly pathetic and unfortunate as I really like the Movies and TV show.

, really? lolol

I can't tell you how many times it took me to get through each of them; I contemplated walking away from the game to take a multi-week break. Through persistance (and a littel alcohol), I eventually made it through them though. For some strange reason the game would freeze when trying to restart the freefall events; I had to hard reset the PS3 several times

and not blocking anything, haha.
