So there's not much to say that hasn't been said before. I've been gaming since NES days, though I've been a Sony fan ever since i got the first PlayStation. I mostly played RPGs growing up, but some of my other favorite titles include the Metal Gear series, God of War series and Tokyo Extreme Racers (these are my comfort games). I wasn't immediately hooked on trophies, but then I earned my first in a game and was like and continued to try and earn them in the games I liked. Let's get one thing straight though, I never let trophies decide the games I play. I just enjoy earning trophies in the games I love. I found this site about 4 years ago and never turned back. It's been a great place since joining with such fantastic membes! Aside from gaming I enjoy visiting my girlfriend and our dog, hanging out my friends, and exercising.

Ok. So this was the first game with a that I purchased. I really enjoyed this game for the simple fact that I am a snowboarder. Always loved snowboarding games, so when I heard about this game I picked it up on release day. Everything about this game was amazing to me. At first I thought it was supposed to be a Tony Hawk style game, but that is not the case at all. While it does have a certain ridiculousness, it also has some realism which makes this game extremely fun to play. You can just get lost riding, buttering or whatever you want down the mountain. It's controls are freestyle and fairly easy to grasp. If you're looking for a snowboard game that has awesome replayability, this is your game! I loved everything about this game and I'm glad it was the first in my collection!

Well. I'm a sucker for the PoP series so when I picked this one up I was extremely excited. there really isn't much to say about this game though. If you're a platformer/PoP fan, you will not be disappointed. This game has great visuals, story and fantastic gameplay. The game wasn't too terribly difficult, even without a guide. It's easy to find all of the light seeds without any help as they are mostly on main path of the storyline. There are a few stragglers here and there though. Overall, I would definitely recommend this game. A fanastic addition to the collection!

    Online Legend
    Achieve Legend Rank Online

Yes, yes. I loved every aspect of this game from winning competitions to throwing your body off a building for Hall of Meat challenges. I grew up playing the Tony Hawk games and I was ready for a change. The reason this game is so fantastic is the fact that every trick is pretty much based on skill (even though you're not on a real board) You have to flick the analog stick in order to perform tricks making this an extremely enjoyable, yet challenging game. After some time, I found myself practicing the analog stick movements during loading screens. My favorite aspect of the game was that you could perform realistic tricks in realistic environments. At the same time, you could also do some outrageous shit too. It is the perfect medium. The hardest/most annoying trophy was definitely the Online Legend trophy because it required an enormous amount of time earning EXP in online matches. Once I got really good at the game of S.K.A.T.E., I started gaining mad EXP and finally got the trophy. This is arguably one of my favorite PS3 games.

    Historian
    Find every audio diary

Iv'e never been a big fan of FPS games at all. I would never have touched any one of them if it weren't for this game. Even though this is a separate breed of FPS, it is by far one of my favorite games of all time. The gameplay, environment, characters and story are all amazing and will get your adrenaline pumping fast! I loved the eerie environment the most as it had me creeping around a lot of corners or getting randomly smacked by lonely splicer. The idea of choosing different plasmids to create your own style of play was another amazing attribute. You could play through this game with a totally different strategy than another person which made it really awesome. I remember I did get to a point where I had to start over because one of the required spider splicers glitched and I wasn't able to take a picture of it to progress through the story line which pissed me off. Other than that and missing a few audio diaries that You couldn't get by returning to an previously explored area (blocked off from story), there wasn't really anything irritating about this game. It had its difficult moments, but using the save feature helped out a lot when avoiding the vita-chambers. Overall, I'm glad I gave this game a shot because I ended up loving every minute of it!

    In Memory of Petruccio
    Collect all the feathers

After playing the first one, I had to play this one. It carried over everything from the first game (even the repetitiveness) and then some, but it is still such an amazing series. The trophies for this game weren't hard at all and the only real frustrating one was for collecting all of the feathers. I can't remember because it was so long ago, but I don't think that there was an in-game map for them which sucked. Reason being that you still had to go to each location regardless of if you've gotten that feather. It takes a while if you're like me and don't play the game for trophies first. Otherwise, this is a fantastic game that I'm sure most have played. DOES NOT matter that this is an easy game, I'm proud to have it as part of my collection!

I was so excited when I heard they were releasing the God of War collection! I loved them on the PS2 (still own those copies) and it was a delicious treat to have them re-released with trophy support! This game was not hard all to platinum for many reasons. The trophies weren't that difficult and you didn't even have to beat the game on God mode I had such a great time replaying this game though because it was one, if not most, innovative games of it's time. It set the stage for future hack and slash style games. The only trophy that was somewhat difficult was for completing the Challenge of the Gods and it wasn't too bad at all because I still had the game mastered.

    War Hero
    Complete all chapters on Professional.

Being a huge fan of the Resident Evil series, I picked this game up on release day. May have taken a bit to plat it, but I needed to find a reliable co-op partner for professional. The game itself was pretty good overall but it wasn't spectacular. I felt it was missing something...perhaps it was lacking some horror? Regardless, it was still a very enjoyable game to play. The only real tough part of the game was playing through on the professional difficulty because of the stupid gargantuan part. (so much easier without a partner ) Probably the most depressing thing about this game was the final boss. I mean, WTF? I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it can be done very easily. Overall the trophies aren't too difficult and I think it's a great addition to my collection and is one of the games I still own.

God of War was such a groundbreaking title. Everything about these games is terrific. As with the first, God of War II Was perfect in so many ways. There isn't much to say about the game other than it being a fantastic piece of work. The boss fights were extremely memorable and it's such a great story. Lets not forget to mention how bad ass Kratos is. The trophies for this, like the first, weren't too challenging for me as I mastered these games back on the PS2 (yeah...try playing on God or Titan mode without upgrading ) This game was a fantastic follow up to the first and is a great addition to any collection of GoW fans!

    Chose the Impossible
    Achieved Rank 40

Being a huge fan of the first one, I had to pick this one up on release as well...and the special edition to boot! I was so ready for this game as you play as one of the first Big Daddies. Though this game got some negative attention, I thought it was a masterpiece. As with the first one, the atmosphere and gameplay was very original and eerie. My favorite part of this game was all of the Big Daddy's weapons which were all pretty bad ass. I loved having to protect the little sisters by wasting splicers while she was harvesting. I thought this game was a little easier than the first in terms of SP, but then they added the MP aspect and reaching level 40 was lengthy (especially doing so legit) but it was a pretty fun experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Another fantastic game added to my collection!

Beat the Labyrinth without dying or failing

Holy effing shit. This game was a fantastic round-up to the previous ones. I loved everything about this game. Every boss fight was epic as fuck, and that's an understatement. Yeah, I may be biased but this game was extremely well made and is definitely one of my favorites on the PS3. I picked this one up day one and got my Pandoras box. Trophy wise, this game wasn't that difficult. Play through game, collectables, and some randoms. Not too difficult, right? The only troublesome trophy was aMAZEd, but with a few tries it isn't impossible. I don't want to spoil the ending for this game either, but to those who played it, how long did you press at the end, lol? I probably did for a good five minutes. Such an amazing game to add to your collection if you're into some good ass hack and slash bad assery!

    Gozer's Most Wanted
Successfully complete each Multiplayer job in every location.

I grew up with these movies so I thought why not give the game a shot. Another game that I found fantastically well made. All original actors voiced their respective characters so it was very nostalgic. Pretty awesome storyline paired with awesome gameplay and a lot of references to the movies = on my scale! You play as the rookie Ghostbuster and follow the guys on their quest to rid the world of them baddies cause they were let loose, again. Some of the trophies were straightforward, but there were also a lot of vague descriptions for them. There were a few tough ones, but none compare to the online 4 person co-op. Those can take forever, and one in particular seemingly has robbed people of this wonderful Gozer's Most Wanted requires you to complete each multiplayer job in every location. This was tough because it was pretty glitchy...particularly survival in the library , but with some perseverance, it can be done! I know mine didn't pop after I had completed everything so I went to the "questionable" ones and got it after a few. One of my proudest I suppose because most people give up. It's not that bad! Wonderful game...bustin makes me feel good (oh gawd, lol. )

I will admit. I didn't pick this bad boy up right away because it first appeared too kid-like for me and I initially thought it was just all create, which wasn't my style. Boy was I wrong. After watching a friend play a few levels, I really needed to get my hands on this one and ordered it right away. Even though I didn't get the full potential of the LBP universe, I did enjoy what I played of it. There really isn't much better than a fantastic and creative platformer. I loved the fact that you could create so many different sack persons to fit your style. The game itself wasn't too difficult and the only tough trophy was the Create trophy because you had to create a mighty fine level if you had any hopes to get this one legit. I loved every aspect of this game and with millions of created levels online, there is no reason to get rid of it (except now all levels can be accessed via LBP 2 ) I recommend this to any gamer looking to have fun!

There honestly isn't much to say about this game. I picked it up for the simple fact that I could go back and play the classic genesis games that I loved when I was a kid and earn trophies for them. This collection wasn't hard at all besides the Yatta! you know why? Because eff that game, that's why. I give mad props to whoever was able to play that game on the hardest difficulty and withstand it. This is really the only trophy that gave me any trouble. I know it's easy, but if you haven't played this already I recommend picking it up because it's very nostalgic.

    Poetry in Motion
    Perform a 666 hit combo

Oh the times when I had GameFly...I rented this game with high hopes because in the demo, you beat the shit out of Death. So that instantly = Unfortunately, I didn't really get into the story too much. The game itself was very reminiscent of GoW, though sometimes the graphics were unappealing. The combat was like any other hack and slash type of game, but it had it's own uniqueness which made me enjoy it much more. The trophies for this game weren't hard at all and the only one that took some dedication was Poetry in Motion because you could really only get up there in one of the challenges. I would say this game was average at best and wasn't near the top of my list, yet was an enjoyable experience.

    Enormous Katamari
You made a katamari over 2,000,000km!

Words cannot describe how awesome this game is. Being a huge fan of Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari, I was so happy to finally play this game. You are the prince of the cosmos, and your job is to create new stars to fill the sky...you basically just roll shit up and create a bigger Katamari (clump soul) These games are extremely addicting and fun. Each star is a different challenge. For instance, there was one level where you were a fireball and had to roll up things that were flammable in order to make a bigger Katamari to light the fire pit. If you ran into any water, the fire would die out and you'd have to start all over. There were all different kinds of levels like that which made it do challenging and fun. There were a few troublesome trophies and this game can take some time to 100%...The three that I remember being a pain were get 100% of all items in the game (there were 4000 and some you could only get while a certain size), the stupid volcano minigame that mad me ragequit, and making an Enormous Katamari. To do this, you had to complete every level, then play the last level where you roll up the entire world and eventually Cosmos all adding up to your total KM...the issue is the levels throughout the game add to your total, so if you couldn't make it big enough, you'd have to replay some levels to make it bigger. Overall this was a fantastic addition to the Katamari games and I loved every second of it!

    Rockhound

    Find 100% of the Shards.

Being a PlayStation exclusive, I felt obligated to play this game though I was also interested. The main character Cole was original and bad ass to boot. You primarily had lightning based powers and could either use them for good or evil. The layout of the game was pretty open, but still had it's restrictions and the gameplay could get repetitive at times. The storyline was actually pretty awesome and I'd recommend this to any gamer that hasn't played it yet because it's honestly a great PS3 exclusive. The only real tough trophy was rockhound and it really wasn't tough, it just took forever. You had to collect all blast shards in the game and there wasn't any kind of counter that would indicate if you had already picked one up...you kind of have to rely on the guide you're using to make sure you grab 100% of them. I remember raging because I was one off, then after some searching (I believe this site ) I was able to nab the last shard. Overall it's a pretty good game that I enjoyed very much.

    Orange III Defeated

O gawd. I don't even want to write about this one. I honestly thought it might be good and I was itching for an RPG. Man. What a terrible game. This was equivalent of a really cheap PS2 game. No voice overs, cell shaded, just plain terrible overall. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you're strictly playing for trophies. In that aspect, it is a nice 12 hour plat at that. They had a good idea with being able to switch the character you are in battle to exploit weaknesses, but everything else was just so bad. I liked the homage to Disgaea but that was all.

First off, there is a reason Asuka is the character on the main banner. She's super hot and she was my favorite character to fight with. DEM LEGS Anyway, this game was really fun because it wasn't extremely taxing like SF4. There were a few tough trophies like Nightmare Train, defeating NANCY, and defeating Mokujin's level. The game itself was like any other fighting game..do this so many times or win with these restrictions. Really fun game overall that I would recommend if you haven't played it already. Much more intuitive than Street Fighter games and was overall more enjoyable. Wooden Warrior was my toughest because it fracking sucked just getting through Mokujin's level, let alone fight and beat him with what health you had. Tougher than your average plat in my book.

Not gonna lie. Girlfriend wanted to rent this one during the time I had GameFly. She stopped after the first 10 missions, so I ended up playing the rest of this one. Basically you go through the game taking pictures of exotic animals. If you're super into photography, this is your game. It honestly was a very enjoyable game to play through. The one that gave me trouble is finding the damn bird that I can't remember. Needless to say, it wasn't easy to get that particular bird to show up. Overall the game wasn't hard, just took a long time and wasn't really my style. Makes for a decent platinum though.

This game met and exceeded all expectations. I loved every second of this game and I still own it to this day. Not much better than a hot female badass wrapped in her own hair??? This game was one of the MOST fantastic games created by CAPCOM! I can't stress how much this game kicked ass! The fighting style is similar to the Devil May Cry games so It was pretty tough at times, especially in Infinite Climax mode. This was a tough game for sure and I just remember a lot of the bosses having like 7 health bars and each hit to you could take away 1/4 or more of yours, so you basically had to be perfect at it (Jeanne was damn hard ). I highly recommend this game if you're into DMC or GoW. It will not disappoint!

This PoP game wasn't anything special but it was still a PoP game so I enjoyed it for what it was. It's definitely one of the easier ones and was extremely short. (Earned in one day) The fighting in it was still pretty fun though. This one gets a 3/10 for difficulty as the only tough one was Invincible and that's because I had to choose one. Really only takes a few tries to get it down. Another thing that bothered me was the trophy images...I mean, they didn't even try. Can't complain about this game at all. Loved Skate 2 and knew this would be just as awesome of a game. They took what was great about Skate 2 and added more customization and loads of new places to explore and Kill the spots Other than that it was very similar to Skate 2, just revamped and less clunky. I was very happy with the fact that you didn't have to achieve PRO rank online again because it took forever. For me the toughest trophy was getting a team together for a 6-player session. It was just difficult to coordinate so all team members were online at the same time AND are in the freeskate session with you. If I can remember correctly, I think I just ended up rallying a bunch of randoms online to get it. Great game and was loads of fun.

    Charted! - Crushing
Finished the game in Crushing Mode

Borrowed this from a friend as I heard is was an awesome PS3 exclusive. Only problem is that t took me a long time to finish it because he asked for it back before I could Uncharted was a very fun and original game to which I thoroughly enjoyed. It wasn't too terribly difficult and most trophies were self explanatory. The toughest was beating the game on Crushing, but particularly the dirty blue room. That room alone took some time to conquer. I would definitely recommend every PS3 owner at least give this one a shot. My only gripe was the hide-and-gun type of gamplay at first. I loved every other aspect of the game though!

Well I picked this collection up to kind of take a break from GT5 which had also just come out at the time and to catch up on all the Sly I missed out on when I was younger. I played the first one, but not the other two. Platformers have always been fun for me so replaying this was extremely relaxing and fun for the most part. (they still need Crash and Spyro ) The trophies were very easy to obtain and like previously stated, it was a nice break from GT5 at the time. I also loved how this game had some sneaky aspects to it and no part of it was dull. I'm sure most are going to plat this for it being so easy and PS+ giving it out for free some time ago. Very enjoyable and recommended for gamers of all ages.

Pretty much the same as the first. Really fun gameplay and story. The most difficult trophy wasn't difficult at all really, meaning this is a pretty simple quick plat. Again, I played this game to take a break from GT5 and get down with some Sly Highly recommended trilogy and great games in general.

The end of the Sly trilogy. Damn as it didn't last too long because the games were so easy. This is the only one in the trilogy that gave some trouble, and was only due to completing the game to 100%. This meant successfully completing every challenge. While most weren't too bad, some gave me a mild headache at best. Again, like the others, nothing was too difficult and was a nice break from GT5. Like the other two, a highly recommended game and fantastic trilogy!

Such a fantastic follow up to an already amazing series! I was a huge fan of ACII (inb4 Asscreed, lol.) I was pretty excited for this one as they were implementing the new AC multiplayer which I was a huge fan of because it was completely different than any other MP I've ever played before. I enjoyed all x amount of hours poured into it leveling up. The single player game was a continuation of Ezio's and Desmond's story. The only troublesome trophy other than the long grind to level 50 was Role Model because it would've been extremely difficult without boosting so mad props if you got it that way. Abstergo EOTM was sort of tough as well but manageable. Not one complaint about this game and I'd recommend it to any fan of Asscreed!

Wonderful game in so many ways. Media Molecule took what was awesome from LBP and enhanced it 100 times! Not only did it carry over billions of user made levels (which you could waste hours on) it brought some new features and gadgets and such. This is a very difficult game to part with due to it's replay value. If you're down to have tons of fun, this is your game. The only trophy that caused me some trouble was the 24 hours of create because I'm not that creative . I loved everything about the SP, MP, and co-op. There are just too many good things to say about this game and not enough space. Highly recommended on so many levels. Also best game to play while sippin on a few brews

Pretty straightforward game. Extremely enjoyable and not very hard at all. Must play if you're into platformers, which I am! Fantastic story and gameplay. A bit dated, but definitely a classic game. The one trophy that "could" pose a problem would be Game Master because you could go through the game not realizing how many times you rewound when first playing through it, and you can only do it less than 20 times. Other than that, nothing hard at all and I highly recommend it for those looking for a fun game.

The first time I every played this game was a demo I downloaded and I hated it so much. The demo didn't give this game the credit it deserved. That hatred turned into what is now probably my favorite game for the PS3. Everything about it was amazing. I loved the survival horror it had that RE5 didn't. I loved how dark it was and I always played it late at night for an even more creepy effect. This game made me jump so many times but I loved every second of it. The game was inherently tough due to the nature of the game. Playing it on Impossible was not that bad and the only trophy to give me trouble was that damn ADS cannon shit. I would be so close and then get destroyed within the last few seconds causing some ragequit. Like previously stated though, this is definitely one if not THE favorite game in my collection.

Never played this game til my friend recommended I give it a shot. I also like to play the first games before sequels unless intentionally done by developers. Loved playing as Starkiller and beating shit down with a lightsaber and the force! My only gripe was that he was extremely clunky to control and somewhat difficult to master. This game was tough for me and I used the sithspawn cheat to playthrough on one difficulty. Regardless of that, it was still tough and I found myself dying a lot on Sith Master, which was a fecking hard difficulty. The other annoying trophies were definitely the kill x amount of enemies with certain powers. Definitely enjoyed this game though and I'd recommend to all Star Wars fans!

Another instance of where they took an already sweet game and made it better. Dual lightsabers FTW Continued the story of Starkiller and it was pretty crazy to say the least. You'll just have to experience it for yourself and since they cut the difficulty and playthough time down significantly, you'll have no trouble at all. I wish this was tougher but meh. Still a very enjoyable game that i'd recommend to anyone...just play the first one! Difficult trophy to mention was getting a gold medal in the first ten challenges which were quite tough. I particularly hated speed running to the holocron! >:F Another great game in my trophy collection.

The title of the platinum pretty much sums it up. It's like God of War and Zelda combined which spell out a whole shit ton of in my book. I was initially turned off by the game's seemingly lacking graphics until a friend at work explained how baddass and amazing the story of War was. Taking his word for it, bumped it to 1st in my GameQ and boy was I surprised! Such a fantastic game and I was immersed into the apocalyptic world. So much badasserey to be seen. There were only a few parts to this game that made it tough, one being the stupid part when you have to kill more demons than Uthane, not because I couldn't kill more, but because I kept dying and became fed up a few times. Arial Predator was super annoying and especially if you didn't save right beforehand and had to get to it by playing through the game again. Wasn't an issue because the game was so badass! Highly recommended!

I didn't want it sitting on my account at 1% so I thought I'd give it a shot plus I loved legos as a kid so it wasn't that bad. Mindless fun. Nothing was really hard about this game unless you couldn't figure out the puzzles which were rarely hard. If you're down for some fun, this is a decent game, but not great. A highly anticipated game for me. It's sad that it didn't live up to many people's expectations I was not disappointed at all. A beautifully made game with many elements that I enjoyed. That being sai., There were some things that were somewhat offputting. I initially didn't like the battle system because I felt it was just primarily hitting , but after a bit, I learned to love it. It was just different. NOT bad. Just different. The story was a bit convoluted, but still great. I enjoyed the hunts as they were fun for me. The only trophy that I didn't care for was the Treasure Hunter bastard. NOt only did this one take forever, but it caused me to take a break from the game. I could have finished this in March when it came out or April, but instead I up on that trophy because I read somewhere that if you installed any of the themes before getting the platinum, then some of the trophies glitched. I wisI would have just carried on as going back to it late November 2011, I realized I was only a few hours short of the Other than that, I honestly have no complaints on this game and I laugh at the people that say otherwise because I still thoroughly enjoyed it. So many people were butt hurt by the "linearity" of it but weren't all FFs linear in some way? They can all suck a fart It's not really that tough, rather just time consuming.

My feeble attempt at trying to compete in a trophy competition was combining this and Trine to rack up some serious points....failed hard as team PPS raped face. Oh well because it was still a fantastic game! It took the gameplay of the first game and enhanced it in many ways. I like this one better because it was more visually appealing and the controls were more refined. This has got to be the easiest trophy ever because if you plan it out right, you could earn it within an hour, though I recommend finishing the game all the way through because it's simply brilliant. The only trophy that gave me like a minute or two or trouble was the Icebreaker trophy because it took a minute to freeze each enemy without breaking them. I highly recommend this game if you played the first one and if you haven't, go nab them both! (recommended for players who enjoy platforming titles)

    Better Than Developers!

The first of the ever epic Trine games. I have always been interested in this game since I first heard about ti, but I couldn't justify spending the money to acquire it. I wish I would have picked this up a long time ago as it's all kinds of epic. A great platforming game that combines a single player co-op style of gameplay with some challenging scenarios. Boy are the levels kinda long though. It's not a short game by any means, but it's also not extremely long. Petty simple too so so it's a great combination of enjoyable and fun. There are a few trophies that may give people some trouble though. I was one of the people that had the secrets glitch on me because I found some before completing the game and for some reason it wouldn't count the ones I had already gotten which was complete bullshit. But luckily it was a great game and didn't take too long to go through it again for just the secrets. The other notable tough guy was Better Than Developers! as it can be quite annoying. Otherwise it's a very fun and simple game that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys platformers!

Another game where I should have picked it up when I heard about it But waited until I could borrow it from a friend. I originally had it on my GameQ before I cancelled that biz, but didnít have the chance to play it yet. There is a reason this game won GotY. Itís brilliant in so many ways. I was never a comic book guy before this game, but afterwards I had to contact my friend who has thousands of comics so that I could borrow some Batman ones. I loved every little detail about this game right down to the date each character debuted in each comic. The story was amazing and was accompanied by a great combat system that was actually difficult to use, difficult to master. When I first played through the game, I really didnít have a good sense of the combat system at all and just tried to punch size people. Once I mastered the combat system, the game was much more enjoyable. I donít care what types of games youíre into, this should be played by anyone who calls themselves a gamer because itís probably one of THE BEST games of its time. The combat challenges were pretty tough if youíre not great with the combat system. Even when you have mastered it, there is still one that will prevent most people from obtaining this bad boy. It didnít take me that long, but seriously fuck Shock and Awe (extreme). I never had trouble with getting enough points as I could get perfects on the first two rounds, itís the time limit that was killer. I believe you have like 45 seconds to kill everyone in the room. Pretty fucking tough if you ask me. As long as youíre determined though, youíll get it. Highly recommended to every gamer!

A fantastic follow up to the first Uncharted game, though it was much more refined and the gameplay was much better! I enjoyed this game thoroughly, though I borrowed it from my girlfriends brother so I donít personally own it. The continuation of Drakeís story was awesome as always and I cannot wait to play the third installment to such a fantastic series. However, this game was much easier than the first even on Crushing. I was dreading Crushing difficulty mainly for the damn train level. What a pain in the ass, but to my surprise, it was actually simple. The boss fight took me like two minutes if that. Such a brilliant follow up to an already amazing game. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has played Drakeís Fortune. The only sort of tough trophy was beating the game on Crushing. If you want a real challenge, go for 100%. Even if you can find a good boosting group (which I was extremely fortunate to be a part of) then it can still take a long ass time, but it was so fun and I got to meet some fantastic people and you all know who you are!

Another highly anticipated game for me and I reserved it many many months in advance. A continuation of the story from XIII, they took the minor faults with that game and enhanced them tenfold. The battle system was better. I also liked the idea of taming and using monsters in your party. Kind of reminiscent of Pokemon! The story was a little difficult to follow inherently because of the time traveling, but it was a great one. Iím not going to ruin it for anyone, but I was a bit dumbfounded by the ending and Iíll just leave it at that. There wasnít anything too tough about the game which was a little upsetting as XIII had some tough fights. Iím just glad I didnít have to grind out Admantoises for platinum ingots! I remember a lot of people complaining about the soundtrack and how it didnít fit. Yes, Iíll agree with that, but it wasnít badÖjust different. I still listen to it to this day and enjoy it. In terms of difficulty and tough trophies, there really werenít any at all. The only real hard/time consuming one ďcould haveĒ been Defragmented because one of the fragments was for defeating one of EVERY monster and there were quite a bit. As long as you played through the game and didnít worry about it til the end, you may only have a few left to beat. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and Iíll definitely be playing it every now and again.

Absolutely one of my favorite games of all time. I reserved it when it came out on the PS2 as it was completely original and looked amazingÖ.well it was! I heard this and ICO were being enhanced by the HD biz and I was so excited. A beautiful and artistic masterpiece that is timeless in nature. There is nothing like fighting a moving mountatin when all you have is a sword, bow & arrow, trusty steed and your pure determination to revive your love. I loved every minute of replaying this title EXCEPT the hard time attacks. That is the only thing I didnít do with my PS2 copy as I never challenged myself like that when I was youngerÖbringing the trophy system into that equation challenged me to test my skills and patience, which in turn made me give up for a bit. I put both this and ICO down after completing the stories for both. Then I went back and 100% beat down these bastards. This game isnít hard especially if you mastered it on the PS2, but you should expect at least 5-7 playthroughs, finding about 50+ white-tailed lizards and completing both NTA and HTA. The true test is whether or not you have what it takes to slay HTA #3. Sony decided it would be nice to sacrifice Wanderís stability when they ported the game to the PS3 making this one of the most difficult tasks ever to the point where you MUST use dirty tricks in order to finish him off in time. Bad move on Sony for sure. May you slay this bastardÖEXTREMELY MAD PROPS TO YOU!!!

This game probably holds the current title for my favorite looking platinum trophy image as it's just so damn cool! I still own my PS2 copy of this game and when I heard this and SotC were getting the HD treatment, I was ecstatic! I loved these games on the PS2 and they were wonderfully brought over to the PS3. It's really a beautiful game as it's pretty simplistic in terms of gameplay and is a fantastic experience. My BIGGEST complaint though is that Yorda is completely retarded. Her actions are enough for you to want to take a break from the game. You could go down a long ass ladder and then in the middle of it she'll decide she wants to climb back up...WTF!? Other than her stupidity, the game is great and if you're into adventure/puzzles/platforming then you'd most likely enjoy it for sure. Still not as good or hard as SotC though.

I have so many great things to say about this game. Rocksteady didn't need to improve Batman: Arkham Asylum at all, but they did. Arkham City was a fantastic follow up to an already amazing story. They improved so many things from the first game, especially with the combat mechanics. The continuation of the Batman story was something to be immersed in and keep you entertained. The combat system seemed much more refined and fluid compared to the first game. There was also a lot more to do post game adding hours and hours of gameplay. The thing about this game is that it will take some time to /100% because there is a lot of stuff to do. The only tough thing to do really was a few predator challenges. This was a bit different from the previous game where the combat ones were tougher. (though I wonder if itís any easier now after mastering this game ) I thought it was a lot of fun though and I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is up for a little challenge and lots of fun.

    Dozabot Devastator
Get this trophy when you destroy 5000 dozabots!

Well here it is...I honestly haven't said this about any game that I've played yet, but what a sigh of freaking relief. While this was a wonderful game to play and I initially had loads of fun with it, the grind for dozabot's and cloudberries was the worst I have ever experienced and I'll tell you why. First off, the game itself is fun and different. You control these two cloud whales Kumulo and Nimbe (can switch between them) and have to stop the pollution of the land created by industrialization of the doza. Along the way you meet different people that are willing to help you which each have their own individual abilities that you need to use to your advantage. The whales themselves can do various things like hold water to shoot at enemies or oil to use fire to burn them. The most interesting part of this game is there is a speed run sense to try and switch out characters and finish the level as quickly as possible to earn a bonus. There are other things you have to do in order to 100% each level, but I'll leave that up to you to experience. Each area also contains a minigame which are pretty fun .

Now, as for the grinding...along the way, you are confronted with different types of dozabots (enemies that like to shoot things at you) and cloudberries (berries that you can collect from enemies and plants) Two main painful trophies are collecting 20,000 cloudberries and 5,000 dozabots. This sounds daunting at first, but throughout the completion of the game and aiming to 100% every level, you'll most likely end up with around 13,000+ berries and 1,000+ dozabots...so nowhere near where you need to be. Before the update, you were unable to use the minigames to grind out the bots, so you had to choose either a level or play through the game another 4+ times...not happening. It was fun, but got real repetitive after a while. So at the time the only level worth grinding with shortest amount of time was one that only had 36, yes 36 dozabots every 6ish minutes...so about 360 bots/hour while picking up berries along the way to add to that total as well. Ok, so about 11 hours of grinding...then my save file mysteriously disappeared during the grind and I had to start from scratch...I didn't really use the clouds storage at the time, so that was my fault but for my save to disappear was not...others have experienced it as well and it was a developer flaw. I would've probably been the 2nd to platinum this game at the time as I was soo close (probably like 18,000 berries and 4,000+ bots.) I'm sure you can guess that I became insanely frustrated and put the game down for months. I would recommend this game if you're looking for something different and fun, BUT BE WARNED! You will have to still do some grinding for those trophies no matter what but the finally installed a patch that you can use minigames...they just have to be done in one sitting (which is why it was put off) Ended up taking me 4 hours with breaks to finally get it...final count in minigame was 3,700

I was not entirely impressed by this game from the get-go, but after playing through the campaign with a friend, I became addicted to the gameplay. An over head stick shooter which was somewhat reminiscent of some old school games to me which drew my attention in a little bit more. I thought that this was a very well made game with no real glitches that hindered it at all. Good for the casual gamer, but also for the gamer who wants a bit of a challenge. I wouldnít be put off by Morbid difficulty though as itís really not all that tough. If you plan ahead (and play through the game beforehand) youíll know where you need to lay traps and such. Very fun game in my opinion and being that it was free to me makes it that much more Collecting the loot was a bit of a pain due to accidentally blowing up some cars before opening them up. It was entertaining mowing down loads of zombies though!

    Stardust Hunters
A trophy for getting a ☆ in every rank!

Another game that I initially rented from Gamefly and ended loving so much that I bought it from them! This was a tough, one-of-a-kind RPG with so much to do. The story alone is enough to keep you busy. You have three characters to use, but the real customization comes from the weapon attributes. The level up system is through how advanced each character is with each weapon that they use (machine gun, pistol or grenade) The combat system is difficult to learn, but moderate to master. Once you get the hang of it though itís very fun! There are a few things though that prove to be tough. One of them being the arena challenges for the amount of time you must put into them in order to get a in each one. There are 50, each with 10 rounds making 500 total Öneedless to say it will take many hours, but you get a lot of items if you play your cards right I love JRPGs, so this was a fantastic game in my opinion and if youíre into the same types I say give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

Complete the game on Hard Core setting

Being that I loved Dead Space, I knew this game was going to be fantasticÖand it was! Continuing the story of Issac Clark you encounter some of the same, but also some different and annoying necromorphs as well as some new and old faces. Fantastic story combined with amazing gameplay = If youíre a fan of Dead Space, then I highly recommend this game to you (if youíve not already played it ) I was a little afraid to even try Hard to the Core due to its requirements, but it really isnít that bad, lol and is really the only tough trophy though a few others make take more than one try. Plan ahead. Choose the right guns and have a strategy in mind. You will do just fine! I honestly couldnít ask for more of this game other than being a little less action-y but I feel that it was a great sequel and makes me excited for the next!

    Chapter 2 Speedrun
Complete a Speedrun of Chapter 2 below the target time.

One of my all time favorite games for the PS3. So simple, yet innovative at the same time. When I first heard this game was coming out (being a parkour enthusiast) I was ecstatic! I am usually not really into FPS games, but this was so different that I became insanely addicted to it. The story was a little short, but there is a bit more to do afterwards. The game is fairly straight forward, but at the same time open for you to choose your own path towards the next level. I loved every aspect of this game except for the speed runs and time trials. I usually get way too anxious when doing them so I did everything else in the game and set it aside to come back to eventuallyÖtwo years later Iím glad I did though because while it was initially tough, I felt I was much more apt to persevere this time and it actually wasnít all that bad! I was really only stuck on one speed run which made me ragequit years ago and is why I put the game down. But now I have happily made this my 50th/3000thtrophy! I loved every part of this game, but I know there is a lot of people who donít so I would only recommend it to people who are fans of parkour and speedrunning things because it requires a lot of it. For me the hardest trophies were the speed runsÖbe prepared to play some levels over and over and over again

    Ain't 'fraid of no ghosts
Collect all pellets in one combo in Hawkman in the Hangar

Before the Skate games, there was Tony Hawks Pro Skaters and they were by far one of my favorite games during my earlier gaming days (especially since I was a boarder) I was really happy to see them release an HD collection and while I donít usually pick these things up when they are first released, I did with this one to relive some past during a crummy time. Though it was a fantastic release, I felt that there was a lot left out (older skaters, customization options) but overall it was great to play it again! Itís a mash-up of the first and second game from the PS1. I was also a tad disappointed in how easy it was though. I had originally thought it was going to require you to get 100% with all skaters, but thatís not the case at all. You can get everything with one skater (as long as itís not Tony Hawk) I chose Rodney Mullen because I grew up skating with that kind of style and he was my favorite skater during those days I felt that the toughest trophy (more annoying really) for me was the Ainít Ďfraid of no ghost trophy as you have to get all Hawkman pellets in one combo which took a good while but overall not too bad. Very fun if you want to relive the past or play it for the first time! Some of the music was carried over from the originals which also made it that much more awesome!

    Mega Star
Earn 50 stars on one profiles

Initially I wasn't a fan of this game at all, but only played like five minutes using the DS3 controller. Once I finished Dead Space 2, I wanted to go back and experience more Dead Space with a newly acquired move controller The story of this game is awesome and takes place before the first game. Paired with fantastic game play, this game definitely kept me interested the whole time. Itís like most other arcade rail shooters, but with necromorphs The weapons are all really different from each other which keep true to the Dead Space series. Itís got a story mode and a challenge mode which will keep you busy for some time. There are collectibles and yes, they are sort of a bigger pain than normal collectibles in games. You have to deal with a constant moving camera view and some of them you really have to be precise and snipe them within split seconds. The only gripe about this game that I have is the fact that the only checklist for items obtained in each level is at the end of the level, so you should keep a list of which items you need to nab if you miss any. Fantastic game and I had a blast once I got back to it. I definitely recommend it if youíre looking for something different. I didn't find this that difficult at all minus a few things that were tough to grab. If you follow the tips in the guide, you'll do fine with the challenges. (Force Gun FTW) You can also play it with a DS3 controller, but itís way more fun with a move controller. I feel that itís the best way to experience the game to the fullest.

    Sand Snake
Complete the game in any difficulty without dying

Glad I went back to this game and Iím mad at myself for putting it off for so long. My reasoning for that decision is simply because I was worried about the Sand Snake trophy glitching on me since it has a high tendency to do so for others. Well, thankfully I didnít run into that problem which made me happy gamer. Another installment into the fantastic platforming world of PoP continues the story from where we left the prince in The Warrior Within. A lot of things were improved in this game, but it still felt clunky due to being a dated title (even with the HD treatment) but was still overall enjoyable. However, I donít know if the disc version was the same or not, but my digital copy had this horrible glitch that would make my system freeze 75% of the time upon booting the game upÖthat was far more irritating than any of the trophies or cheap shots from enemies throughout the game. Great game for PoP fans and I definitely recommend it though I enjoyed the first one much more. This marks 4/5 PoP games completed with Warrior Within being the last one I need for all 5

Defeat the Dahaka - Secret Ending

What a fantastic game from start to finish. Out of the original three Iím happy to say that this was my favorite one. The story way just pure awesomeness and coupled with fun/challenging gameplay with a bit of speedrun style to it makes this game so much fun. Lots of stuff improved from the first game and had a pretty decent soundtrack. I didnít really find anything about this game to be hard but the last battle (secret ending) was somewhat challenging. My only gripe like the other ones is that the difficulties do not stack so youíre looking at least three whole playthroughs, but it didnít matter to me considering how awesome of a game it was! Definitely recommend this along with the rest of the PoP games to anyone looking for adventure, fun combat and environmental puzzles to test your skills! The last one of the PoP games marking 5/5 for them!

So as many already know, I was not fond of this game from the getgo because it seemed very boring to me. However after about 15-20 hours of playing the game that all started to change and I began to like it more and more. You play as John Marston, an ex outlaw who is trying to get his family back and redeem himself of all the laws he's broken by doing things for the government. It's a very very slow to start story, but once it picks up, it's fantastic! There are loads of missions and side quests to do so you'll have a lot on your plate, but you can go back to them after the story is over. I put that getting to the top rank was the most difficult, but I would say all of the MP trophies are tough. Thankfully I had a friend and I replay Twin Rocks Gang Hideout during a Triple Xp week and leveled up within a few hours. That made this less difficult in terms of time spent grinding. I really pulled a 180į turn on this game and ended up thoroughly enjoying it to the fullest. I am definitely going to go for the 100% for sure! Highly recommended!

Played this one for the trophy comp, but Iím actually glad I gave it a shot. Itís a surprisingly fun, though very very easy. Itís pretty straightforward. Youíre a robot looking for parts to repair your crash landed ship. Itís a platformer (so I instantly liked it) and it has plenty of levels to play through. I usually donít like playing co-op games, but I was over at a friendís place and he was helping me out and we were having a blast! If you are in for an easy game, I highly recommend this as itís loads of fun as well! The only tough trophy really is just getting 1,000,000 credits, but it really only takes about an hour or so of grinding so itís not that bad!

    Complete the Death Mode level

Another game I initially picked up for the trophy comp, but man am I pissed that I didnít pick this one up sooner! Itís such a fantastic game that I thoroughly enjoyed to the last minute. Not only does it have great game play, but awesome music on top of that! I havenít dove too much into the level creation, but I will most likely do so in the future. Another old school platforming game, your goal is to collect the sound notes through each level and get to the record player (end). It seems easy, but the Death Mode levels will provide a legitimate challenge! Your best weapon there is persistence and getting the right pattern down. If you have a Vita, youíre in for a treat as you get two copies of the game! I also loved that they included Deadmau5 levels! O._.O (though Iím pretty certain that Death Mode: Distasteroids was giving me a seizure ) I really hope there will be some DLC in the future as this is one of those games that I will continue to play! Very highly recommended!

Wow. Just wow. I really didn't want to pick this game up just because of my bias against the whole zombie hype and the show. Forget the show, and play this game. Sure, the trophies are insanely easy as you get them for just playing through the game, but I feel that it has a lot of replay value if you want to make different choices from the first time. I honestly thought this game was highly overrated (even voted that in the EOTY award) but I definitely jumped the gun. It's gotten a lot of hype for a reason, but mostly people's attachment to the show. It's definitely more of an interactive movie than a game, but regardless a fantastic one. I highly recommend every gamer to play through this great game. I know I'm happy I did. I did not have a most difficult trophy for this game because it's as simple as playing through the game for the platinum.

FinallyÖgot passed the dirty glitches. I liked this game but, I ran into a shit load of glitches. Besides that itís a fun game and definitely worth a play. I got this one for free from PS+ a while back and never really played it too much. Went back to it recently for the 2012 trophy competition and I will admit that I did enjoy it thoroughly. Iíve talked to a bunch of people that have played this one and not many ran into the glitches that I did, but I will still warn you if you do pick this one up. Just make sure to save often and use back up saves in the case of corruption. There are a few game breaking glitches that may force you to restart the game if youíre not careful. Thankfully, I wasnít too far into the game and actually missed a few treasures in the beginning so I was ok with starting over. I also jumped from easy to Master Survivalist to do it all in one playthrough which helped. Itís not hard at all. Just learn the mechanics of the game and youíll be fine. The game was fun and I would definitely recommend it especially if youíre into adventure and platforming. Just beware of the glitches

Fun game for the most part, but got tiresome after a while. I'm super glad it didn't take forever to grind out the 1,000,000 bolts trophy because that would've sucked. Luckily it only took an hour or so of playing online with 3 others This was the first Ratchet and Clank game I ever played since I never got to experience them back in the day. Though I didn't enjoy this one as much, it's made me want to pick up the HD collection to see what they are like. I did enjoy the insane amounts of weapons you get and the upgrades That was fun! Overall slightly enjoyable and fairly easy. Only a few buggers

I suck horribly at most FPSs so this wasn't a 3 hour plat for moi. I tell you what though. I'm definitely going to play this online a bunch just for the sheer fun factor. The game doesn't offer too much, but what it does offer provides hours of fast paced entertainment. I particularly enjoyed the arms race matches because of the gun switching. Pretty fun! Now I did play this completely offline with the bots, but still had some fun, lol. The trophy that gave me the most trouble was the bunny hopping one since like nobody was jumping that often. Regardless, it was fun and I got my GFs boyfriend his second plat. Cherry popped and coming back for more

    The Super Orberator
    Collect 2000 Precursor Orbs

Since I never picked up any of the Jak and Daxter games when I was younger, I felt I had to pay some homage to my PS2 days buy picking up the J&D HD collection. The game actually looks quite good with the HD treatment and the controls are solid. The story was interesting to say the least, but not really boring or anything. Daxter was pretty humorous at times which made the game pretty silly. I always thought this was tailored towards kids when I was younger, but I would have to disagree with that now. Not that it's adult oriented at all either, it's just a good middle ground for anyone to enjoy. Made by the people who brought us the Crash Bandicoot games to the PS universe (or Uncharted if you're a n00b) Truly a platforming game (again, which I enjoy) so I had a blast playing through it and definitely have a bit of regret that I waited this long. I'm pretty excited to see what the next two are like! So far, this one's great and I recommend giving them a go. The only tough-ish part was getting the 2000 Precursor Orbs since some of them were cleverly hidden, but I'll leave you to figure that out.

This list is looking very impressive, IMO I would take out the spoilers as what is in them does look good and I feel theres no need to hide it. Keep up the great work on it
