I'm a young gamer of 23 and I've been gaming ever since the Late NES/Genesis-Era. After that I followed along with the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Playstation 2, Wii, and then finally PS3 in Late 2009, as well as the occasional PC game and Handheld(Current one being the PSP). I am a fan of Action/Adventure, Platformer, and RPG genres but mostly look for story in a game, then gameplay and graphics. I also dabble in the occasional Horror, Racing, and Fighting game. I am the type of gamer who plays the game first to enjoy it the first time through and then do trophies afterwards, though my gaming schedule is very sporadic between work and being with my wife and newborn son. So, I'll be updating this very sporadically whenever I get the time to do so. I'm a friendly person and am easy to get along with so if you're looking for a friend or someone to help with trophies just send a message and add me.
Assassin's Creed II 100%
GAME RATING: 8/10This was one of my first PS3 games, I had played Assassin's Creed on PC and thought it was a great game, if a tad lacking in both combat and missions. This game expanded on all that, the combat was better improved though the AI still needed work. The graphics for this game are well done and the locations look great and authentic considering the time period the game takes place in. The length and overall exploration of this game was also better than the first. All in all this is a very good game and I would recommend it to anyone.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 4/10Getting the trophies is VERY simple with the only hard one being, In Memory of Petruccio, and thats due to length rather than actual difficulty
Batman: Arkham Asylum 100%
GAME RATING: 9/10I am a BIG fan of Batman, from the comics to the cartoons and some of the movies. However, when it came to games, most of the Batman games were bad so I was dubious to this when I first heard about it. When I saw the screens and that they would have Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill voice Batman and the Joker, who they voiced respectively from the 1990s Animated Series, I couldn't wait for a chance to play this game and I wasn't disappointed. Graphics are very well done, and I enjoy how as you progress in the game the damage to Batman in visible, if only as you progress through the game and not during combat and such. The story is very well done and the combat and the stealh based areas are just amazing and fluid. Having Batman's assortment of gadgets was great and the dark atmosphere of the well known Arkham Asylum just adds to it. My only real complaints about this game were the Detective Mode's making the game a tad easier since you could have it on all the time and that the boss fights all played out the same way with no real change in the formula. Even if you aren't a huge Batman fan I would definitely give this game a try and see if you don't really like it. Really looking forward to Arkham City coming out later this year.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 6/10
Trophies for this game are pretty easy as well, with the Challenge mode trophies, Freeflow Gold and Predator Gold being the hardest ones to get.
Prince of Persia 100%
GAME RATING: 7/10Prince of Persia was a franchise I didn't know about until the release of Sands on Time in 2003 (along with almost everyone else). This game was departure from that formula keeping very little from even the original Prince of Persia game aside from really the title. As a platformer it is fairly decent and the story isn't TOO bad. But the combat, I found, was lacking with all battles being 1-on-1 and the fact you couldn't "die" in the game. The length of the game is fair and very easy to beat it in under 12 hours for the Speed Demon trophy. The Cel-Shading in the game works well for the art style and makes the locations you visit look great. Overall, this game is pretty good and I would like to see a sequel to it. I would recommend it for others, but only if you like the series and want to give this a shot or a fan of platformers.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 5/10Trophies are easy in this game, and shouldn't take any real effort to get aside from, Combo Specialist and Light Seeds Master.
GAME RATING: 7/10inFamous was originally, a game I did not like. I had played the demo and while I thought it was decent, I wasn't a huge fan of sandbox games and didn't think it was for me. A couple months later down the line and I decided to give the PS+ Trial of it a shot and found my opinion changing and so I bought it off the PSN the next day. The graphics on this game aren't the best around but work well for the style of the game and aren't bad either. The story I enjoyed and found the ending to be a nice twist and makes me looks forward to inFamous 2. Combat was decent but for the most part repetitive with combat mainly being shocking enemies or lobbing tons of electric grenades at them. I enjoyed the areas you can visit and found them to be quite spacious and well done. This is definitely a game I recommend to get.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 7/10Trophies in this game aren't hard, but the you will need to do 2 playthroughs to get them all. Aside from that the only ones I found to be difficult were Rockhound and Stunt Master.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 100%
GAME RATING: 6/10Everyones favorite game of all time <insert sarcasm here>. Shooters, FPS in general, are not my cup of tea. While I play decent at them I don't play them very often. I got this game mainly cause I enjoyed Modern Warfare 1 (the last Call of Duty I liked) and cause I had friends who were getting it and I wanted to play with them since we lacked any other games that we could all play together. The multiplayer was fun at first, but then got riddled with kids, hackers, and all around crap. Graphics were well done and I enjoyed the campaign portion of the game however, though found it to be pretty short. Spec Ops, to me, was the game's highlight and I enjoyed it very much, moreso than the campaign and multiplayer. I gave this a 6/10 out of respect to the campaign and Spec Ops modes, to me multiplayer is trash on this game. I do look forward to MW3 if only for the story and Spec Ops if they add it, but I won't be picking it up until its $20 or less or I might just GameFly it. Overall, this is a game I would only recommend to FPS junkies (in which case you already have it, beat it, and traded it in for Black Ops or whatever shooter you moved on to next). If you want to play this game, borrow it from a friend or rent it somewhere.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 5/10Another easy game for trophies, only one you should have ANY trouble with is Star 69 and thats only cause you NEED another person to play Spec Ops with you, hopefully they don't suck otherwise its gonna take awhile.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions 100%
GAME RATING: 8/10My second favorite game based off a comic book character. Shattered Dimensions brings together 4 Spider-Men from different universes and does it well. The graphics on this game are amazing, though mostly cel-shaded it works with the game and each Spider-Man universe has their own art-style. Story was alright, pretty much comic book story nothing amazing though still enjoyable. The highlight of the game is playing as 4 different Spider-Man, each with their own style of gameplay. To me Amazing, Ultimate, and 2099 each played almost about the same in a combat scenario but each with their own style (Amazing's web-based attacks, Ultimate's symbiote, and 2099's speed). For me, I enjoyed Spider-Man Noir the most, with stealth-based gameplay essently similar to Arkham Asylum's it appealed to me the most, though it had its own Spidey-flair to it. Overall, definitely a game everyone should try, Spider-Man fan or not. I look forward to seeing more about the sequel, Edge of Time (which features Amazing and 2099 Spider-Men).
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 6/10Trophies aren't hard on this game either and should only take 1 playthrough with a little bit of clean up afterwards. Hardest trophies to me would be Manifest Destiny, Bug Collector (not really hard, hard to find them sometimes), and The Spider's Shadow.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands 100%
GAME RATING: 5/10The Forgotten Sands is just that, easy to be forgotten. I rented this game from GameFly because I enjoyed the Sands of Time Trilogy and just had to give this a try. Gameplay is just like Sands of Time Trilogy which I greatly enjoyed, but thats just about it. Combat was also improved allowing for battles against large groups rather smoothly and the addition of the Element powers was nice, if a little gimmicky. The story, which I was mainly interested in, was not all that great and lacked any kind of real substance to it though it was not without its moments. This is a game you should play only if you are a real fan of PoP and just have to play it, otherwise I would pass it over or rent it if you really must.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 4/10Trophies are very easy and you should have no trouble at all. Sand Nemesis will probably be the only difficult one but not by much.
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection 100%
GAME RATING: 7/10A blast from the past, this made me feel like I was a kid again playing games from a time long ago. As being a collection of games from the Genesis era, most are fairly well known games from that time with a few obscure ones thrown in or hidden. If you're into graphics, don't expect much, these games look just like they did when they came out on Genesis only now they come in widescreen. If you're someone who looks fondly back at the Genesis or are interested in playing games from that time, definitely pick this up.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 3/10Trophies on this game are very easy with the only hard one being Get to the Chopper. Yatta! and Can You Dig It? are also slightly difficult unless you use cheat codes, then they're pie.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune 100%
GAME RATING: 8/10Uncharted... Now alot of people say this game is great, and probably one of the best games for PS3, and others would say its overrated, and neither side would be wrong. While this game certainly boasts very impressive graphics and a very well written story by Amy Hennig (Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1&2, as well as LoK: Defiance), its still has its flaws. The gameplay is pretty good but the combat is rather bland and lack of exploring disappointed me. For the most part its shooting at generic thugs with the occasional platforming, and while thats the usual formula for most games like these, it just didn't seem impress me all that much. The characters are also rather bland; Drake, while essentially being the hero and "everyman" of the game, doesn't have alot of character to him but what he has he plays well. Elena was a decent character but her voice annoyed me just a tad, and the villains were plain boring. Sully, my favorite, had the most personality out of all of them, and he's not even the main character. Overall, this game I would definitely pick up sometime in your PS3's lifetime whenever possible.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 5/10Trophies for this game are rather easy and simple to figure out. 2 Playthroughs are required to Platinum as you can only unlock Crushing difficulty by beating the game once (preferably on Hard, so you can be prepared for Crushing). Charted! - Crushing should be the only trophy you should have trouble with, as you'll be playing the game on the hardest difficulty, and once you get the hang of it, its not all that hard to beat.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 100%
GAME RATING: 6/10Another game I rented from GameFly, mainly so that my wife could play since she is a Harry Potter fan. If you've played any of the other LEGO games before this once, then you know the drill. The story of the first 4 years is told through are mostly silent (with the occasional hmms and hums) LEGO characters of the world. This game however puts more emphasis on exploration rather than beating other LEGOs up (like LEGO Batman and Indiana Jones). Its a fairly fun game if you have someone to play with. For the serious gamer, I would not really recommend this, but for family or friends just looking for a game to have fun with I would suggest it.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 4/10Not hard to Platinum this AT ALL. Most of the trophies are self-explanatory and should only take you 3-5 days to Platinum it, if not sooner.
Heavy Rain 100%
GAME RATING: 8.5/10Heavy Rain... Now this is a very interesting game. I'm a gamer who likes a good story above all else, and this game definitely has it. The story for this game is very impressive and sucks you in and the multiple endings for the game was quite a plus for me. Graphics in this game are pretty good, though some of the character movement and faces sometimes looked stiff and bland. Gameplay-wise, its quite different from most games, it essentially plays out like a movie with you only doing anything during quick-time events or the occasional puzzle solving. Now while I personally think this game is amazing and probably one of the best PS3 games out there, its not for everyone. Due to the gameplay style, it can turn away some people like it did to me at first. This game, to me, is a must have for PS3, if not you really should try it out at some point.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 8.5/10Currently, this is the Plat that was the hardest for me. While most of the trophies sound simple to achieve, it can take some trying to get them all. This game WILL require SEVERAL playthroughs in order to get all the trophies, especially the Perfect Crime and All Endings trophies.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves 86%
GAME RATING: 9/10If you thought Uncharted 1 was good, then this will blow you away. Once again, the graphics for this game are astounding and the environments you travel through look beautiful (even when you're in a half destroyed city). Amy Hennig once again shows she knows how to write and direct this game, the story is very well written and plays out just like an action movie. The characters are also very well written, with Drake still being himself, Elena being Elena and Sully is just Sully (though he features quite little in this game, dissapoint...). The inclusion of Chloe Frazer was a nice touch as she brings a sex appeal Elena just doesn't seem to have, but she also brings out a darker aspect of Drake's past and personality, which I enjoyed. The multiplayer for this game is quite fun and I still play it from time to time. If you've played Uncharted 1 and liked it, then this game is a must have.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 5/10Like Uncharted 1 trophies aren't hard at all, and the game will require 2 playthrough in order to get Charted! - Crushing, which will be your hardest trophy to get. (Unless you use the cheat glitch, in which case its easier, but shame on you if you do.)
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time 100%
GAME RATING: 8.5/10My next GameFly rental. While I enjoyed the series on PS2 I lost touch with it when it came out on PS3. Originally got this for my wife to play, not realizing it was the last in the Future Trilogy. This game was quite fun to play it still kept the same basic Ratchet gameplay of having ridiculous weapons (Mr. Zurkon being my favorite) and blowing stuff up, though traversing the moons was a fun touch up to it as well. Clank I also had fun with as his gameplay is has more puzzles than combat. Overall this game is fun to play and should definitely be in anyones collection.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 4/10Trophies here are very easy and you should get most (if not all) in a single playthrough. The game, however, will require a 2nd playthrough in order to get the Glutton for Punishment trophy. Only other trophy that should give you a little trouble is Raritanium Champion as its a fairly long endurance battle with few ammo refills along the way.
Mafia II 86%
GAME RATING: 7.5/10My last GameFly rental. Mafia 1 for PC was a game I had alot of fun with so I did look forward to this game. Graphics are pretty good with a few hiccups here and there. Gameplay is typical of a sandbox/3rd person shooter game (a.k.a. GTA) but not bad at all. I found the story to be very engaging but short compared to Mafia 1. Overall this game is fun and I would suggest it for anyone interested in it.
No real hard trophies here. Only ones that should take some time or may give a little trouble are Card Sharp and Hard to Kill.
PLAT DIFFICULTY: 5/10
God of War III 100%
GAME RATING: 9/10One of the best PS3 games I've played. I'm not a huge fan of the series (GoW1 was pretty good, but GoW2 didn't impress me much) I found this one to be extremely enjoyable as Kratos finally gets his vengeance against the Gods of Olympus. Gameplay and Combat haven't changed since the past entries so if you're familiar with the series you should be able to just jump right in. Graphics for this game are impressive and it defines the details (mainly when you kill the Gods, Helios is my favorite death). All in all, this is a game I would definitely recommend to anyone with a PS3.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 7/10While honestly not an extremely difficult Platinum, it can be quite challenging with the hardest trophies to get being Up to the Challenge, Unhuman, and aMAZEd.
Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues 100%Yet another LEGO game to add to my collection, formula isn't any different from any past, present, and future(maybe) LEGO games so its an easy game to jump right into and have fun with it. These types of games are not really for the hardcore gamer, but are very fun especially if you have someone to play it with.
GAME RATING: 7/10
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 5/10Not a difficult Platinum at all should only take a couple of days, but some trophies are glitched and may take a couple of tries to earn.
Transformers: War for Cybertron 100%This game is THE BEST Transformers game you will ever play. If you are a Transformers fan it tells you the story you've been waiting for, the story of how the war began and why the Autobots fled to Earth. The story is fairly well written and is a beginning of a new official canon for the Transformers Universe (any G1 fans be prepared for some changes). Gameplay is a fairly standard 3rd person shooter but it introduces an interesting mix in the form of ability to transform into your vehicle mode, and it is done rather smoothly. Graphics aren't the best and you get some repeated visuals here and there, the limitations of being on a robotic planet I suppose. Multiplayer in this game is pretty good, but at the time of this writing, has a low population so it may be hard to get a few good games going. All in all this is a great game and one I think everyone should try, Transformers fan or not. Looking forward to the sequel, Fall of Cybertron, and the return of GRIMLOCK!!!
GAME RATING: 8/10
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 7/10Currently the Platinum I'm most proud of. The campaign/single player trophies are very easy to do and you shouldn't have any trouble earning them. The hard part comes from my most hated trophies of all and the reason I almost gave up platinuming this game, Online/Multiplayer Trophies. The game has 7 online trophies 2 of which are earned in the very fun Escalation Mode so they aren't as annoying, but the other 5 involve gaining levels in a long arduous grind.... Thankfully the servers are now at perma 5xp so leveling should be alot easier in the game for those who want to take a crack at them.
Darksiders 100%God of War meets Legend of Zelda..... This game is I borrowed from a friend after trying out the demo and liking what I played. The game is honestly fairly average and tries to mix the best from God of War and Legend of Zelda and doesn't do too bad a job (its not great though). The story for this game is also fairly bland and doesn't really pick up until the very end. Very decent game but could've been better, hopefully Darksiders 2 can improve on it.
GAME RATING: 7/10
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 6/10Platinum isn't too difficult and can be done in one playthrough (though is a little easier if you do 2 playthroughs and earn the Apocalyptic Armor in the 1st playthorugh to carry it over).
inFamous 2 100%
GAME RATING: 9/10A great sequel to a great game. inFamous 2 expands on everything that made inFamous good and just makes it better. The story is very much improved as are the games graphics. I love the endings for the game with both being very deep in their own way and giving you a sense of completion. The exp system is better defined to go with the addition of the new powers but at times can be a little annoying to earn the exp necessary for that next power. All in all a very good game and one I would recommend to any ps3 owner.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 6.5/10Not a very difficulty Platinum by any means, the game will require 2 playthroughs (Good ending and Evil ending) and at least one of them will need to be on Hard. Otherwise everything else should be easy to do.
Alice: Madness Returns 100%
GAME RATING: 7/10Tell me of your Wonderland. This game is the sequel to American McGee's Alice, a dark take on the Alice story. The graphics are very well done and the multitude of levels each stand out beautifully, and sometime creepy, in their own way. Gameplay is fairly simple with a solid dose of platforming and puzzles, with the occasional minigames. Combat is very simple, if at times a bit clunky but does not take away from the experience of the game. The story starts off good but as it progresses its kind of hard to know exactly what it going on and almost falls through the cracks. All in all, very decent game that is a fun game to play and as a bonus if you buy the game new you'll get a voucher to download the original American McGee's Alice to play on your PS3, though the graphics haven't aged well and the controls are rather clunky.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 6.5/10Fairly easy Platinum, only ones you should really have any problems getting are Level-Headed and Pulling His Strings unless you buy the DLC and use the extra dresses which make it much easier to get them. Everything Fit to Remember might also give you some work to earn.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds 100%
GAME RATING: 6.5/10Now I'm not a huge Fighting game fan, but I love the Marvel vs. Capcom series (which originally started out as X-Men vs. Street Fighter). I was looking forward to this game but ended up somewhat disappointed. As a fighter, its very solid though it tends to try and cater to the less fight savvy player (like me, but yes I'm complaining about it ). My biggest gripe with the game had to be the drop in characters from MvC2 to MvC3 and the english VAs(A majority of them are bad), as well as the fact that Capcom in their infinite wisdom decided to scrub any additional DLC characters and instead make a brand new game, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, with said additional characters (which I should've seen coming considering how many times they released a version of Street Fighter 4). All in all this is a good game and a good fighter, but if you haven't picked it up yet, wait for UMvC3 to release later in November.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 8/10This game was a fairly difficult Platinum for only 2 reasons, Mission Mode (basically Street Fighter 4's Challenge Mode) and the online trophies. Luckily with the online trophies, most of them are boostable with the exception of 1 or 2. Other than those, the rest of the trophies are pretty simple to get.
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean 100%The next in my line of LEGOs. I probably had the most fun with this one as I love pirates and this game was pretty big compared to past LEGO games. Again, this is not for the hardcore gamer but is fun for everyone. If you've played any LEGO game before this then you know the routine.
GAME RATING: 7/10
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 4/10Another easy Platinum, if you've played any other LEGO games you know what to do.
The Sly Collection 100%(x3)
GAME RATING: 8/10
Will probably do separate reviews for the 3 games in the collection in the future but for now reviewing it as a whole. These are 3 very fun games to play with each one improving on the other very well. The story is great and each tie together rather seamlessly. 3 great games for a great price ($30 or less) which I suggest everyone get and enjoy, then get ready for Sly 4: Thieves in Time.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 5/10
As a whole, the collection is not that hard to Platinum, with Sly 1 & 2 being the easiest games to get Platinum on. Sly 3, however, will make you work a little harder for it, but still isn't that hard to get.
Batman: Arkham City 92%
GAME RATING: 10/10
This is probably the best game I've played so far, and my pick for GOTY 2011. Everything you loved about Arkham Asylum is back and improved on either through big improvements (Free Roam) or small tweaks (Multi-counters in combat and Quick Use Gadgets). The story is rather impressively done and while the ending is great, you can somewhat see it coming. The game is a fairly decent length with the main story being about maybe 5-10 hours worth of gameplay, the real draw and what extends the games playtime is all the side-missions available to you throughout the Arkham City. This is a great game and definitely one I would suggest everyone get or at least try, as a bonus if you buy it New you get the Catwoman DLC (play as her in a small part of the story and Challenge maps) free.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 7/10Fairly difficult platinum to get, but not as hard as it may seem. The hardest trophies for me were Campaign Gold and Perfect Freeflow 2.0 but both can be done with enough practice. The Storyteller is technically the most time consuming trophy to get but can be easily bypassed by playing around with the system clock on your PS3. The game will require 2 COMPLETE playthroughs (one on Normal or Hard and the 2nd on New Game+), which means you have to get 100% both times (beat all Side-missions and Main Story), but worry not those 400 Riddler Trophies/Challenges you only have to do in one playthrough (they carry over to New Game +) and honestly they aren't hard to do, just alot of them.
Tomb Raider: Underworld 100%
GAME RATING: 6/10
Back to the Future - Episode 1: It's About Time
Got this game free from PS+, and pretty much enjoyed it. Gameplay is fairly basic Tomb Raider, so if you've played of the other games then you know how it works. The story was alright but nothing really great and the game itself is rather short, not a bad game but only get it if you're a current PS+ Member cause the game is Free until 1/2/12 or if you get it as part of the Tomb Raider Trilogy set.
PLATINUM DIFFICULTY: 3/10
Really easy platinum to get, everything is fairly straight forward and not hard to earn at all. Game can be platinumed in a Single playthrough.
GAME RATING: 7/10
I loved the movies as a kid, as well as the ride (shame they had to take it down). This game brought me all back to that. Graphics are nothing amazing, and if you've played any of TellTale Games games then you know the formula. The voice acting in this game is great from getting Christopher Lloyd to voice Doc Brown once again and AJ LoCascio sounds almost exactly like Michael J. Fox did back when the Trilogy was made. The story isn't bad, being written by Bob Gale (co-creator/writer/producer of the original Trilogy) but at times it falters. Am a little annoyed that TellTale chose to release the whole game on a disc and add a Platinum of it, months after the games were released on PSN but otherwise I would recommend getting but only really if you're a fan of TellTales games or a fan of the Trilogy, otherwise it may not be for you.
100% DIFFICULTY: 2/10 Not hard at all to 100% and you should be able to get them in your 1st playthrough.
Back to the Future - Episode 2: Get Tannen
GAME RATING: 7.5/10See BttF - Episode 1 above.
100% DIFFICULTY: 2/10Not hard at all to 100% and you should be able to get them in your 1st playthrough. Tannen Tamer might be the only one that'll give you a little trouble, but not a whole lot.
Back to the Future - Episode 3: Citizen Brown
GAME RATING: 7/10
See BttF - Episode 1 above.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10Easy 100% again, One Bad Apple and Hidden Treasure might be the only tricky ones.
Back to the Future - Episode 4: Double Visions
GAME RATING: 6.5/10
See BttF - Episode 1 above.
100% RATING: 3/10
Another easy 100%, shouldn't have any trouble with them.
Back to the Future - Episode 5: OUTATIME
GAME RATING: 7/10
See BttF - Epsiode 1 above.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10
Another easy 100% to complete it all, A Prickly Pair might be the only tricky trophy.
Dead Space Ignition
GAME RATING: 5/10
Got this game for free by pre-ordering Dead Space 2. This game is not all that great, it is essentially a bunch of minigames with motion comics to tell a story (that doesn't tell much at all) in-between. Only get this game if you got it free or if you want to get some extra stuff in Dead Space 2 (Hacker Suit, audio logs, power nodes, etc.).
100% DIFFICULTY: 2/10This is not hard to 100% at all, it will require 4 playthroughs in order to get them all but a single playthrough takes no more than a hour so you should in done in 4.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 1: The Penal Zone
GAME RATING: 7/10See "Episode 5: The City That Dares Not Sleep" below.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10Not hard to 100% at all however most of the trophies are MISSABLE so be sure to read the descriptions and start doing what it says ASAP to make sure you don't miss anything. You will be require to start (but not finish) a 2nd playthrough in order to get what should be your last trophy, Part of a Nutritious Breakfast.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 2: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak
GAME RATING: 7.5/10See "Episode 5: The City That Dares Not Sleep" below.
100% DIFFICULTY: 4.5/10This one is slightly more difficult to 100%. Again, some of these trophies are MISSABLE so pay attention to the description. While it doesn't require a 2nd playthrough, it will require you save at a specific point to start over as you cannot get Secret Handshake and Doppel Fluch in the same playthrough. If you forget to save at the specific spot then you will have to start a new game to reach that point again.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 3: They Stole Max's Brain!
GAME RATING: 6.5/10See "Episode 5: The City That Dares Not Sleep" below.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10Not hard at all this should only take 1 playthrough but, as always, pay attention to the descriptions and follow them accordingly so you don't miss them and have to start a second playthrough.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 4: Beyond the Alley of the Dolls
GAME RATING: 6.5/10See "Episode 5: The City That Dares Not Sleep" below.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10Again, not hard at all this should only take 1 playthrough but, as always, pay attention to the descriptions and follow them accordingly so you don't miss them and have to start a second playthrough. The only one that will be tricky is Telltale Loves You as some of the quotes from previous TT games may be unknown to you, so you may not be aware of when you got one.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse - Episode 5: The City That Dares Not Sleep
GAME RATING: 8/10I'm not overly familiar with Sam & Max so I wasn't sure about this game when they first released them but when they decided to give out the Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse collection for free for PS+ members I went ahead and decided to give it a shot. Overall I would give the collection an 8/10 though I've put my personal rating for each episode underneath them. The story is fairly decent and the characters are pretty funny. If you've played any of TTs games then you should know how it works off the bat (this was my first TT game). Overall the collection is very nice and I would suggest it to anyone who either likes Sam & Max, or TTs games.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10Again, not hard at all this should only take 1 playthrough but, as always, pay attention to the descriptions and follow them accordingly so you don't miss them and have to start a second playthrough.
GAME RATING: 8/10This was a game I received ala PS+ and was looking forward to. Coming from the minds of those at Double Fine (Brutal Legend, and Costume Quest), this was in interesting concept. The characters of the work are all Russian matryoshka dolls, with you controlling Charlie Blackmore, one of the smallest, with the ability to stack into larger dolls to help him in his quest to save his family. The story was pretty interesting, but at times a tad boring due to lack of vocals but the music was well done and helped fit the scene perfectly. The "Lost Hobo King" DLC also helped with adding more to the game. I would definitely recommend picking this game and its DLC up.
Not hard to 100% at all, once you complete your 1st playthrough all thats needed is to focus on the trophies and you'll have them before you know it.

Tales of Monkey Island - Chapter 1: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal
GAME RATING: 7/10 See "Episode 5: Rise of the Pirate God" below.
100% DIFFICULTY: 4/10While the trophies here are not difficult to obtain, they can be easily missed and can be obscure on how to obtain them. It should only take 1 playthrough to get them all.
Tales of Monkey Island - Chapter 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay See "Episode 5: Rise of the Pirate God" below.
GAME DIFFICULTY: 7/10
100% DIFFICULTY: 2/10Also easy to 100%, just pay attention to the descriptions and you should be able to get it in your 1st playthrough.
Tales of Monkey Island - Chapter 3: Lair of the LeviathanSee "Episode 5: Rise of the Pirate God" below.
GAME RATING: 6.5/10
100% DIFFICULTY: 2/10 Another easy 100%, just pay attention to the descriptions and you should be able to get it in your 1st playthrough.
Tales of Monkey Island - Chapter 4: The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood
GAME RATING: 7/10See "Episode 5: Rise of the Pirate God" below.
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10Another easy 100%, just pay attention to the descriptions and you should be able to get it in your 1st playthrough. Only ones that might be easy to miss are Musical Memories andGuybrush Goes Classy.
Tales of Monkey Island - Chapter 5: Rise of the Pirate God
GAME RATING: 7.5/10 A game I got on a whim based on my enjoyment of Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Those who are familiar with the series (not me) are welcomed back with the familiar character of Guybrush Threepwood (Mighty Pirate™), his wife Elaine, and voodoo zombie pirate LeChuck after an almost 10 year absence (Escape from Monkey Island, released in 2000). Those not familiar, can still enjoy this game fresh as it has a great story that can be quite funny at times. Gameplay is again similar TT Games format and should be easy to understand. All in all the series as a whole I enjoy and I plan on starting from the beginning by getting the first 2 games in the series once the PSN is back up. I recommend this game to anyone who would be interested.
Another easy 100%, just pay attention to the descriptions and you should be able to get it in your 1st playthrough. Be sure to get The Violet Beauregard Memorial Trophy before binding your spirit to your body otherwise you will have to start another playthrough to get it.
100% DIFFICULTY: 4/10
The Sly Collection: Mini-GamesIncluded with the Sly Collection was 4 mini games, each with their own trophies, over all these games are fun if you have friends and possibly a PS Move since that is what they were designed for (though you can use a regular PS3 controller), but negligible do to solo almost.
GAME RATING: 4/10
Not difficult to get 100% AT ALL and can be done in less than an hour.
100% DIFFICULTY: 1/10
GAME RATING: 6.5/10
Got this game from PS+ when they brought it out free for member. A decently made RPG from Double Fine (Stacking and Brutal Legend) it tells the story of a brother and sister going out trick-or-treating only for one of them to be kidnapped by montsers (who is kidnapped depends on who you choose to control but doesn't affect the story or dialogue in any meaningful way). The story is decent and the game should provide a few hours of entertainment, but its hardly the greatest thing out there. All in all, while this game is mainly geared towards kids, it is a fun little RPG to play and something I would suggest maybe trying (there is a demo out on the PSN Store).
100% DIFFICULTY: 3/10
Not a difficult 100% and shouldn't be too hard to get, the trophy descriptions tell you all you need to know on how to get them.
inFamous: Festival of Blood
GAME RATING: 7.5/10
Now this is one fun PSN game, Sucker Punch's own take on a "What-if" horror-ish scenario takes our favorite Electric Man and shows him what its like to be one of the most famous "Children of the Night", the Vampire. Since the story is a "What-if" scenario it isn't canon in anyway and is in fact just that a story (which Zeke is telling to a woman with rather large..... eyes) but is rather nicely done. The main draw of this game is playing Cole as a Vampire and the addition of the new vampire powers, while still keeping your basic lightning powers, that go along with it (though there are only 3) and the lengths you must do to maintain them (by sucking on the blood of the innocent). All in all this is a must have PSN game so if you haven't gotten it yet and you're a fan of the series I would suggest you do so now.
100% DIFFICULTY: 5/10
Really a fairly easy 100%, all the trophies are simple to get and really can't be missed so only 1 playthrough and some clean-up is required.
Currently Working On
Mass Effect 2
53 out of 59 Trophies (85%)
Trophies Left til Platinum: 2
Last Trophy Earned: No One Left Behind
Great game though I would call it more of a shooter than a RPG. Just need to complete an Insanity run and get Power Gamer and I should have my Platinum.
DC Universe Online
7 out of 32 Trophies (32%)
Trophies Left til Platinum: 6
Last Trophy Earned: The Healing Touch
Pretty decent, fun game. Trying to Platinum it before my month's subscription is up (have 9 days left) but probably not going to happen as I don't have the time to really invest, will probably try again in the future though as you can meet the trophy requirements then activate 1 month subscription and boom, trophies pop up.
To Be Continued
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
17 out of 43 Trophies (24%)Big Castlevania fan so I looked forward to this game. It disappointed me a little as it wasnt like previous games in the series, but still a good game. Will go back to Platinum this eventually.
Last Trophy earned: Skirmish
LittleBigPlanet 2Loved the first game so I had to get this one. I plan on hopefully Platinuming this but I don't know if I will cause I don't have the time to work in Create mode for the 24 hour trophy and also to publish a good level (I lack creativity too lol).
20 out of 47 Trophies (32%)
Last Trophy earned: Mortal Coil Shuffler Extraordinaire
Final Fantasy XIII
25 out of 36 Trophies earned (53%)Big Final Fantasy fan, this game was enjoyable if a bit too linear for my taste. Wasn't as bad as some of people say it is. Will go back to Platinum this when I have time.
Last Trophy earned: Limit Breaker
Resident Evil 5
Now this is just pure laziness on my part. I'm just one, ONE trophy away from Platinum, but I just haven't had the motivation to go through and beat this game on Professional. Maybe one day soon I finally will and get the Platinum for it.
49 out of 51 Main Game Trophies, 5 out of 20 DLC Trophies earned (71% total)

Pretty good sequel to the 1st one. Not sure if I'll go back to Platinum however as the Multiplayer trophies are probably the only thing holding me back.

Last Trophy earned: Disgusting Frankenstein
Dead Space: Extraction
32 out of 48 Trophies (54%)
Last Trophy Earned: Sharpshooter

Last Trophy Earned: High Five!
Fun game, will try to platinum soon, hopefully get those Online trophies out of the way first.
Red Dead Redemption
14 out of 91 Trophies earned (17%)This was a great game, I had borrowed it from a friend so I only played it for the story. Maybe one day (probably the GOTY edition) I'll pick this up again and give the Platinum a shot.
Last Trophy earned: Nuture or Nature?
Same thing that's holding me back from Platinuming this game will probably hold me back from LBP2, the Create a level trophies. I don't have the time nor the creativity to me a pretty decent level so I shelved this game (I do have a generic, probably mass copied, easy trophy level published if people wanna go play and heart it and me lol).
41 out of 70 Trophies earned (46%)
Last Trophy earned: Tributary
Another game shelved due to lack of online community and time. Only 5 trophies, all online to Platinum.
45 out of 51 trophies (92%)
Last Trophy earned: Wanted!
Great game but another one in which the Multiplayer is holding me back for the most part, sold the game though so won't be going back to this.
25 out of 60 Trophies earned (37%)
Last Trophy earned: Voices From Beyond
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
56 out of 61 Trophies (92%)
Last Trophy Earned: .. .- -- .- .-.. .. ...- .
Damn Online trophies are holding me back! Unless I can get a pretty good boosting session(s) going, I'm essentially shelving this.
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
Star Ocean The Last Hope: International
Shadow of the Colossus
