Bagel Bear's Forest of Trophies
I was always one for achievements and the like. When I played World of Warcraft, I didn't care about raids; I only cared about achievements. During Winter of last year (2011), I finally bought my own Playstation 3 so I didn't have to use my brothers but it wasn't until I bought my PS Vita and Platinum'd Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 that my PSN Trophy gathering would start full stride.

Platinum Name: All Finished!
Date Earned: May 15th 2012
This was a very easy platinum and it seems only fitting to be my first as sort of an introduction. My previous experience with LEGO games was only a demo of the first LEGO Star Wars game. I liked it enough but not enough to go buy one. When LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 for Vita price dropped to $20, I thought "Hey, why not?" The only disappointment was that this version mirrored the PSP and 3DS versions. It is a shame that they didn't take the time to port the console versions. I have no doubts that the Vita can handle it. Hopefully for future LEGO titles the full experience will see its face on Vita.

This platinum didn't seem like it took that long. Perhaps this is because I played Dragon's Dogma nonstop after I got it. When I think of this game, I think of Dark Souls and Monster Hunter but a little easier. The trophies aren't that difficult at all. Just make sure you have a guide open for The Hero. By your second playthrough you should have all of the trophies cleaned up. Also, don't think a second playthrough will be daunting because your character carries over and you will easily parade through the game.
Platinum Name: Trine 2 hard

After hastily subscribing to Playstation Plus before the games switched out before E3 hit, I got into Trine 2. I read that it was a very easy platinum and it is! Even though it is an easy platinum, it is a great game. The only criticism I have is that the PC version is vastly superior due to having a mouse and keyboard.

I got this game for three reasons. The first reason is that if you preordered it on Amazon you got it for effectively $22 ($8 movie ticket money + $20 Amazon credit). The second reason is that I knew I would like the movie before even seeing it so I wouldn't mind playing a game of it. The third reason is "Kid game = Free platinum". Don't get me wrong, I won't just play any game though. I won't go and buy Mastermind just because it will be easy. The games have to be something I would like to play. I liked Brave so here we are with a Platinum. One note of warning though is that this game has a few frustrating parts. You WILL die even perhaps many times. In the end you'll get your platinum in no time with some perseverance.

I've been a fan of Disgaea since the first game. Hearing about the third game being released on the Vita I decided to pick it up because I always seem to play games more when they are on a portable system. I never take my system anywhere but I just play it more. This is the first Disgaea game I have completed pretty much 100% of. They practically hand you max stat items so power is of no issue. Some trophies are tricky and you have to think about what you're doing. Overall a fun time.
Platinum Name: You've Gone Platinum

The good ol' two platinums in one. Sound Shapes was an alright game overall. The idea of a music platformer with level creation is pretty new (I think). I'm never the one for creating levels in games but it seems like it has a lot of potential though. The Death Mode trophies are very stupid. You can be very good at the game but the layout of the tokens you must collect are random. You can have a very bad spread or an excellent one. For this reason the platinum can be a little frustrating.

Blast shards. That is all.
Platinum Name: inFAMOUS 2 Platinum Trophy
Date Earned: September 18th 2012
A lot easier than inFAMOUS, that's for sure. Overall a better game than the first one just because of the gameplay. The story was lacking just because of the characters.
Platinum Name: All-Star Legend - You've Only Done Everything
Date Earned: February 20th 2013
Now this was a game everybody was eagerly awaiting. I was glad to get it for $20 new for the PS3 version. This game was kind of disappointing. The gameplay is just not as fun as other fighting games of the same style *cough* Super Smash Bros. *cough*. Other than that the style of the game clashes with itself. The characters and stages do not mesh well with each other. Adding to that the character roster is lackluster. I know it isn't Sony's fault but some notable classic PS characters are no where to be found. I'm glad I only paid $20 for it.
Platinum Name: The Complete Zombie
Date Earned: May 15th 2012
This game can get boring after a while (I had beaten it on PC before too). Plants Vs. Zombies is a great beginner's tower defense game. Nice visuals and easy to learn gameplay. Bejeweled is better, but that's another story.
