Yeah, the Vita version is 80% done and I plan to pop that Plat next. However, I've had BIG problems uploading my PS3 save to pop The End? and The End trophies, so I'll need to do that again

Glad you like kids. I personally don't care for them so you can have them all.

Congrats on your progress. Finally passed me up eh? I don't know where you find the time, lol.

Other people's kids suck. Your own kids are awesome.

I set myself a goal at the start of the year, so it's gotta be done.

If I had more time, 100 Plats was on the cards based on my solid start to the year, but it just didn't work out. So I had to be more realistic and low-ball it to 75.

At least you're actively working towards that goal, even if it is taking time. That means that even if you "low-balled" your goal, you're still well on your way to achieve it .

That might have something to do with the way they're being brought up and their parents

Child number 4 and our 3rd girl in a row came kicking and screaming into the world today. I was hoping for another boy to even up the squads (2 males / 3 females prior to today), but we've been completely overrun with Oestrogen.

We named her Liara. Yes...Liara is from Mass Effect - my favourite game franchise by a country mile. My wife found out the origin of the name, but approved anyway . You can never have too many hot blue chicks running around the galaxy.

Congrats on the new baby girl and the name as well. I love it and totally agree with you about the Mass Effect franchise. If you decide to have more kids, who knows, you might get a Wrex or Garrus someday.

Thanks for the kind words, ladies and gents. Mum and bub came home the day after the birth and both are doing well.

I got the urge to shoot some shit up and noticed Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare was on sale this week for PS3 and PS4, so I picked up both. The PS4 version has local co-op, which I think will be a solid initiation into dual-stick controls for my 4 year old, and he's quickly getting the hang of it.

I'm not into modern military online shooters (mostly because I don't like getting my ass handed to me by 12 year olds) so I figured it'd be a good chance to get my eye in and compete on even ground. With that in mind, Garden Warfare is as fun as a barrel full of monkeys and comes highly recommended.

For a rare treat, I'm consistently on top of the leaderboard with 40-50% of team kills and a healthy KDR. That's likely because it attracts a less hardcore crowd, but I fit into that mould these days myself so fair is fair.

Small victory, but I'll take it... If you're after a casual shooter and owning noobs, give Garden Warfare a try
