I'm a huge fan of twin stick, top down shooters, so I grabbed this without hesitation. The gameplay is very reminiscent of similar old-school games such as Smash TV, only with aliens, obviously. I originally thought Against the Odds would give me trouble, but Elite difficulty ended up being rather easy. A very fun game; highly recommended.

Fantastic game. I grabbed this when it was on sale for $10, and it easily ranks as one of my favorite games. The branching story paths, decision making, and the option of being a nice guy or a total prick really heighten the replay value. The trophies were pretty straight forward, I found, but it's definitely not a quick platinum.

While this game is nowhere near as bad as Gaijin's follow-up, Death Track: Resurrection, it's still pretty bad. I've been playing racing games for years, and they're one of my favorite types of games, but never before have I been so frustrated with a game. I swore at (I think I even invented new curse words), threatened it, and nearly broke my hand after smashing it into the coffee table. I almost snapped my controller in half too, until my wife warned me that we wouldn't buy another one if I broke it. This is one of those games that once you get the platinum, you'll never return to it again, lest you lose your sanity completely.

I hesitated getting this game because I wasn't a huge fan of the first one. I bought it when it released in the PS store, however, and I was quite impressed. My only real gripe with the game, other than finding every feather, was the fact that the trophy for completing DNA sequence 9 glitched on me, forcing me to replay the game afterward up to that point for the platinum.

I really do regret waiting though, as this was one of the best games I've played in a long while. The Challenges were definitely challenging, and yes, I admit to using Youtube for several of them after failing repeatedly.

This platinum wouldn't be so friggin' hard and frustrating to get if it weren't for Commando difficulty. I nearly gave up trying for the platinum because of it, but managed to plug through after taking a couple days break from it. Some people I know got the platinum in one playthrough, but I nixed that idea about halfway through the game. Trying to get every collectible, beat every challenge, and deal with the incredibly cheap AI was just too much to handle. Two playthroughs (with the second one done on the easiest setting) was much easier, and less stressful.

Great game, and very similar to Fallout 3, in my opinion. My biggest gripe with this game, however, is that playing online while you still have DLC missions queued will completely ruin your quest and force you to essentially create a new save file. Any time I would play online I would unlock missions based on what the host had completed, and every time it would glitch my offline campaign afterward, making it impossible to complete. If 2K Games could somehow resolve this problem, I'd probably have more interest in cleaning up the rest of my DLC trophies. As it stands now though, I don't have the patience to do them over again.

Brilliant game. Serpent Savior was incredibly time consuming, and Conqueror seemed utterly impossible at the time, due to there being pretty much zero online activity. A shame too, because the Stage Battles are actually a lot of fun once you get the hang of them and learn to incorporate the proper strategy. I was lucky enough to find a boosting partner one day, and after several hours I finally had the platinum. I really hope they create a sequel.

This is the game I lost my platinum trophy virginity to, so it will always be a memorable game. I'm normally not big into online gaming anymore, but because there were so many people playing this at the time, and nearly all of my friends had it as well, it made my online experiences incredibly worthwhile. The fact that Criterion kept releasing update after update helped immensely too, and I continued playing this online long after I got the platinum.

I remember playing this on the PC when it first came out, so playing it again on the PS3 was a cool nostalgia trip. Having to play through it 3 times on each difficulty was rather tedious though; I don't know why they didn't make it so those trophies stacked, as most games do. Veteran difficulty-wise, COD Classic was challenging, but nowhere near as cheap and frustrating as World at War was. Thank God for that.

I cringe every time I think about this game, or see someone playing it on Veteran for the first time. This was one of the very few games that forced me to take a break from playing it for a couple days because of how much it pissed me off. When it comes to "hard" difficulties, I don't mind if they're hard in the sense of challenging. WAW, however, was all about grenade spamming on the AI's part. Relentless was my thorn in the side level, and it took me nearly 2 hours to beat that level and get the platinum.

Nice to see you're remaking, or bringing back your checklist/cabinet again. I remember you quite well from all of the guides you wrote before the site went down, many of which I used, and believe you also had a pengu (spelling?) avatar back then. I also remember when you finally hit over 100,000 views on your God of War III guide and got inducted into Davey's group.

Yeah, "the ring" thing with pengu was damn awesome. You wrote many guides for the little more obscure games, that many people didn't own. I tend to buy those games, so I often used your guides, and for what I remembered, they were pretty good. Glad to see you around on the site, and reviving this checklist.

Not a huge edit, but I added the name of each games platinum to the list. Makes it look a little nicer. Still have to add my personal comments for each game, but that's really time consuming considering how many of them there are. Lol.
