Congrats on Bioshock Infinite's plat Phoenix. I see you plan on revisiting Bioshock? Well I heard that while playing Bioshock, reading the book Atlas Shrug can enhance the experience. I don't know if that's true personally, but that game has one of the best stories in any FPS I played. Now Would You Kindly plat Bioshock .

Oh, one more thing. I see you enjoyed Trine 2, you should play the first game: Trine, if you get the chnace. It should be really cheap on PSN these days.

Bioshock Infinite dropped in my lap for free from a friend and now I really really want to play the rest. The MP for Bioshock 2 is the only thing that worries me lol.

It really is; I knew it'd me a solid game, but I honestly did not expect for it to click with me as well as it did.

The checklist looks great! I love how everything has been put together, it's stands out from other checklists!

Keep up the good work sir.
Thank you Dare; it's pretty basic in terms of content, but I'm looking to spice it up a bit with a few more sections.

Thanks Spageti! I used to have a much longer list because I was essentially reviewing every game. I may go back to something like that but it's tough to do it for every game you platinum when you get past 50+ plats. I am thinking of doing feature reviews in between the current plats for games that deserve more than just a few lines.

I've read Atlas Shrugged already so that's awesome! My one hesitation is that I'm not too fond of tight corridors that make me a bit claustrophobic. My shooting skills are average at best because I got used to playing shooters with a keyboard and mouse, but I'm getting much much better at them. It's the main reason I've missed out on all of these awesome games like Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption etc.

And yes, Trine will be played; I need to do a bit of a PSN stretch where I play Trine, Journey and Guacamelee!

There aren't actually that many tight corridor fights. Rapture is surprisingly spacious so you needn't worry about getting into difficulty corridor fights too often. Plus you can hack turrets and security bots to help you even the odds. And you have a research camera that makes enemies more vulnerable, plu enemies don't scale so early level enemies won't get obscenely stronger when you revisit previous levels.

Well, that's a relief! I'm going to get the Bioshock 1 + 2 Rapture package so once I get started with it I'll probably go all out on it. How's AC:B? Looks like you're awfully close to that platinum.

    Platinum #60 (PS3) + #61 (Vita)
Sly Cooper Thieves in Time (100%)

Great game; while awfully short, I had a lot of fun playing as Sly and his gang. Sanzaru Games did a very good job of carrying the torch for this franchise and they haven't missed a step. The same charm, comic relief and great characters are still there and I enjoyed the secret ending that hints at the next installment. It's worth mentioning that the Cross-Save function works amazingly well here, and I was able to go back and forth between the Vita and the PS3 almost seamlessly.

The Tyranny of King Washing Episode 3 : The Redemption(100%)

Decent DLC; although overpriced. The ending was semi-satisfying.

I'm working a bit on some new features for the checklist, so these updates won't be reflected in it just yet, but soon. Next up I'm deciding whether I should revisit Darksiders 2 and platinum it, or to go towards Bioshock 1 + 2.

    Tiny Update:
    - New Road Ahead Section
    - updated stats section

    Thomas Was Alone (100%)
    15 of 15 trophies

This was a fantastic PSN title; I enjoyed playing it on my commute and it was a very enjoyable experience. Although short (took about 2 days' worth of commuting), it had some surprisingly strong and memorable characters. The platforming was solid and the puzzles were a good mix of easy, moderate and difficult. A worthy addition to any PS3/Vita.

    Guacamelee! Update:
Almost there! So close yet so far away. I'm having trouble getting to one of the orbs on the Tree of Life but I will persevere. Then it's just beating the game on Hard.

    UPDATE:

    Platinum #62: Guacamelee! (PS3/Vita)
    100% (48 of 48 trophies)

A great little game that plays tribute to Metroidvania and stands on its own with a great theme, a very strong combo system and great artistic design in both environments and character models. I had a blast playing this on my subway commute on the Vita and at home on the PS3. Fantastic game - highly recommend it to anyone who is mildly interested in something like this.

I figured I'd stop by after you visited my checklist.
I'm amazed at the artistic nature and happy to see that there is someone else who doesn't hate Dragon Age 2 for being different than Origins!
    Keep up the good work!

Thanks Icebrand! Glad you like the layout. I liked DA2, I just feel it needed a proper antagonist to make it feel epic. I'm sure Dragon Age 3 will address that.
