nice looking layout you have now. I am actually surprised that you want to play Dead Space. Great games they are. Never mentioned to you because I didn't know if you would be interested.

Hope you do get Socom. Elite is a pretty decent challenge.

Finished MW3 on Veteran last night. I think it's the easiest CoD so far on Vet - a couple of annoying spots but nothing really tough.

Probably concentrate most of my SP efforts on Batman for a while now and just play Spec Ops when other people are available to help.

I was re-reading your new list this morning. Including some of the spoiler mini-guides.
And it occurred to me that your trophy list has become my source for determining which games I'm going to tackle next.

We have apparently similar gaming habits and trophy collecting mentalities although based on some of the games you've tackled and completed, you are a much better gamer than I. For example, I'm not taking on Vanquish. And if I do, it'll be on a sub-account as you suggested. Which never occurred to me before and having incomplete games in my list has kept me from playing some games that I'd probably otherwise enjoy.

At any rate, I wanted to own up to the fact that over time, my Platinum list is going to become a near mirror of yours. I just thought it was funny when it occurred to me this morning.

I've always been open to people copying/plagiarizing/stealing my stuff to their heart's content, so feel free. I'm glad I can help you decide what to get - hopefully I won't steer you wrong...

I was a little bummed to be taking out the mini trophy guides in my new format, but then I realized I really haven't been doing them for most most of the last year anyway, so I might as well make everything uniform. I had some really good tips for some of my earlier plats in those spoilers, but oh well... I did keep the easiest/hardest/favorite/least favorite, which was my favorite part of those spoilers anyway...

Finished up the last couple of random campaign trophies in MW3 last night, so I just need to go back and some point and gather intel - other than that, the only thing I have left is spec ops.

Oh, and I started Dead Space, so if I seem a little jump today, you'll have to forgive me...

Haven't updated in a while, but I've been making some good progress in Batman. Finished the story and all of the story-related Catwoman trophies couple of nights ago and decided to concentrate on challenges for a while. I'm freaking loving them, but the problem now is that I've got all 3 medals in the first 6 combat, 5 predator and 3 campaign challenges, and I don't have any more unlocked.

So, back to the city I go to search for more Riddler stuff.... Oh, and I've mixed in a few Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing challenges as well. So far, Batman is far and away the best, but the others are fun too - I just miss some of Batman's moves...

I still have one or two campaign challenges left. but I'm putting off collecting riddler trophies until I'm bored. having to hunt down the green guys is boring to me.

Well, since my last update, I have finished all of the Ranked Challenges and Campaign Challenges with Batman (and more than half of the combat challenges with Catwoman and Robin), meaning that all I have left for my platinum is to find all of the riddles and go through New Game Plus. The bad news? I've barely started NG+, and I still have over 200 Riddles - I'm only now realizing just how ridiculous the collectibles in this game really are. I mean, they're actually kind of fun to find, but there are A LOT of them...

On another note, while I haven't completely given up on the idea, I've removed all of the new images I had made for my platinum games since I only had half of them done and won't have time to do more for a while. I'm kind of bored with the old layout, but at least this way I'm consistent for the EOY checklist competition.

I like that you actually have to work for the collectables in AC but the sheer amount of them has made the game take a back seat for a while for me.

Well so far I've been able to just do the collectables for a couple of hours and then go back to DLC challenges to keep my interest. It doesn't do much for my progress toward the platinum, but it's fun. I've also been mixing in some NG+ and may focus more on that in the near future since I can also look for riddles while I'm there.

Good luck with AA. Are the Collectibles in AC hard to find? I am so anxious to start it but trying to finish up some other games first but I might not be able to wait much longer.

The nice thing about both games is that they give you in-game helps that will put the location of the collectibles on your map. In AA, you find maps lying around where in AC you have to beat up and interrogate Riddler henchmen.

The nice thing about AA is that there are only a few maps to find - the bad thing is they're a little harder to find than the green guys, but not much.

The green guys in AC are easy to find but there are A TON of them. Each only only adds maybe like 10 things to your map, and since there are over 400 to find... well, you get the idea.

In both cases, once you get the map marked up there's still some challenge involved in how to actually get to and retrieve the collectibles, sometimes to the point that I had to give up and go to a guide to figure out a few of them, but for the most part you can get all of the collectibles in both games without any outside intervention - it just takes time. The other nice thing about AC (I think AA is the same way, but can't remember for sure) is that there is excellent in-game tracking of all of the collectibles for each location.

That sounds promising then. I like when games have in game tracking and maps for collectibles.

Thats another great addition to lego HP also. after the story Nearly headles nick stands in the middle or each area and tells you how many character tokens red bricks gold bricks and sudents in peril are left in the room. much better than 1-4.

Nice - that was the worst part of 1-4 for sure. I'll probably pick up 5-7 at some point when I'm bored and need a Potter fix.
