Parkerdip's Trophy Checklist
Hello and welcome to my Trophy Checklist! In here you will see all my Platinum trophies showcased, milestone goals and more!
About Me
Hello, my name is Daniel Parker but more commonly known as parkerdip on PSN. My PSN name was chosen because it is simply my surname followed by my initials. I have been into gaming for as long as I can remember with the SNES playing Super Mario World but the first console that I ever owned was the actually a Sega Megadrive one Christmas. It was pretty cool and had some fun retro games but there was no memory card my favourite game on it was Streets of Rage but was annoying if you died and had to do the entire game again, felt like being at the arcades. The 2nd console I got was the PS1 at a Christmas many years ago. I loved it and played it so much I was only a kid then and had very child games like Crash Bandicoot. Then there's the PS2 which I loved even more and owned about 40 games before moving onto the current PS3 which is definately the best console I have ever owned! I have also owned consoles inbetween like the Gameboy Advance and PSP but didn't play them nearly as much.Moving back onto my history with PS3, I have owned my first one since October 2007 60GB console which was when I started my collection of games. Unfortunately I am on my 2nd one now as I got the YLOD around Christmas 2009. Since 2007 I have now accumulated over 50 games and this has definitely got to be the best collection of games I have ever owned as I liked almost every single one.As you know the trophy system was introduced to PS3 on July 2nd 2008. I still remember that day. My collection didn't start however until October 27th when GTA IV got patched and I loved it. It made me playing games so much more interesting and trying complete as many games as possible and getting the platinum trophy but I DO NOT buy games just for the platinum. I only play games I like and get the platinum along the way. In this checklist I will showcase all my platinum trophies.

Platinum Collection
Here are all my platinum trophies in the order I achieved them and a review to go with it which can be read inside the spoiler tags.
Platinum #01 - Fallout 3
Date Earned Platinum: 11th July 2009Date Earned First Trophy: 8th April 2009First Trophy Earned:Vault 101 Citizenship Award
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Data Miner
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6.5/10
Game Rating: 10/10
Toggle Spoiler Fallout 3 is definitely one of my favourite games for PS3. It is so big which you can put a hundred hours into easy. I love the setting of nuclear war which isn't in many games. The start of the story is really good as well how you start off as a baby and go through his first steps then he leaves a vault into the capital wasteland is really good and makes you feel part of the world. Some of the side quests are quite interesting and exciting, for example the quest where you can choose to destroy or save Megaton is probably the best side quest in the game. The karma system is really good how good actions increase karma and bad actions decrease it. Having really high karma will make certain people react better to you and vice versa for negative karma. If you have high negative karma you will start to be hunted by Regulators and if you have high positive karma the Talon Company Mercs will start hunting you. The gameplay of Fallout 3 is really good. I love the V.A.T.S system how you can pause the action and target the enemy’s body parts and it shows the chance of hitting and then it shows a cinematic in slow motion of the bullet hitting the enemy is a really cool feature. Overall I love these RPG's and Bethesda make the best games in this genre that keeps you entertained for hours. I rate this game 10/10 which is among the best of the best PS3 games I own (10/10 does NOT mean the game is perfect by any means but it means it is among my favorite games of the generation).
The trophies in Fallout 3 are pretty straightforward but time consuming. You have to complete all story quests and all marked side quests to get a lot of the trophies. You have to reach level 20 on Good, Bad and Neutral Karma with interval trophies of level 8 and 14. This means that you would either have to complete the game multiple times or have separated save files. I played the game twice to get these trophies. My first play through was being Good and my second was Neutral and Bad karma. Also there's the 20 bobbleheads which two of them are missable if you’re not careful. There are many other gameplay related trophies in there as well. I rate the difficulty of the trophies 6.5/10 because they are not that hard but are time consuming. This was my first platinum trophy to start my platinum hunting off and I think it is a great one to start with!
Platinum #02 - Burnout Paradise
Date Earned Platinum: 31st August 2009
Date Earned First Trophy: 25th December 2008
First Trophy Earned:Repair your car
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Find all the events around Paradise City
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 4/10
Game Rating: 9/10
Toggle Spoiler Burnout Paradise is one of my favourite racing games of all time. I love the amount of content for a racing game. This game is not supposed to be serious as all the vehicles are made up but the way you can cause crashes to trigger an exciting cinematic is really good. I love how you are free to drive around the open world 'Paradise City' and trigger events at traffic lights. Every set of traffic lights in the game has its own event; these can range from simple races to Marked Man where you have to get to the destination without the opponents totalling you. There are also some other cool features such as setting road rules where each road has a time and if connected to the internet will display the fastest person to get from one end to the other. Also there's Showtime where each road has a score and it's the person with the highest score that you have to beat. You get more points by causing more damage to the surrounding area, it's really fun. The online play in Burnout is really fun along with the road rules you can do some really fun events with random people. Burnout was such a fun game that I had a blast to play and such I give the game a rating of 9/10.
The trophies in Burnout Paradise is all really simple and easy but must have the most uncreative trophy titles I have ever seen. The list here is massive so there are plenty of trophies to get and they don't require much skill at all. What stopped me getting the platinum until 8 months after I got the game was simply I didn't have a camera to get a certain trophy that required one but one day I found my PS2 Eyetoy plugged it in and got the trophy. I also managed to find all the events around paradise city then which triggered the platinum. Funnily I actually got a trophy after platinum and I haven't bought any DLC so not sure if this counts but Complete 10 timed challenges trophy popped after achieving platinum. I rate the difficulty 4/10 because it wasn't that difficult. This is my 2nd platinum.
Platinum #03 - WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2010
Date Earned Platinum: 5th January 2010
Date Earned First Trophy: 25th December 2009
First Trophy Earned:Royal Rumble Specialist
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Nothing More to Collect
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 3/10
Game Rating: 7/10
Toggle Spoiler I got SVR2010 for Christmas in 2009 and at the time I was still interested in wrestling. It was a fun game but not as good as previous Smackdown vs. Raw games. My favourite game mode in SVR was General Manager Mode and the got rid of that in 09 but they added a new story designer mode which at the time I thought it was going to be a really good substitute but instead I found it quite boring. Road to Wrestlemania mode was good but I miss the full season story mode's from Shut your Mouth and Here Comes the Pain which were probably the best wrestling games. The problem is they don't really change much each year and there are things which are identical and it starts to get boring after a while. The game is still good but it didn't keep me playing it as long as I used to on wrestling games. I am no longer a wrestling fan and SVR2010 will most likely be my last one. I rate this game 7/10 because it's still good game but not great.
The trophies in Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 are very easy as there are only 26 and none really give you any trouble. I can't really think of anything else to say on this game other than that. I rate the difficulty 3/10 because it is very easy. This is my 3rd platinum.
Platinum #04 - Assassin's Creed II
Date Earned Platinum: 6th January 2010
Date Earned First Trophy: 25th December 2009
First Trophy Earned:The Birth of an Assassin
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Sweeper
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 5/10
Game Rating: 10/10
Toggle Spoiler Assassin's Creed II is my game of the year 2009 and possibly one of my favourite of all time! This game is a massive improvement over the first Assassin's Creed. They pretty much addressed all the issues from the first one and more. The first game was way to repetitive as you were doing the same things over and over and over again that I actually struggled to finish the game. I got the incentive when I heard Assassin's Creed II was coming out. The story of Assassin's Creed II is fantastic and the main character Ezio Auditorie is really cool. I love how you start off as a nobody and when his family gets murdered you go out on revenge and become an assassin and get better and better. The cities look stunning with you travelling through major landmarks in Italy. The cities being Florence, Forli, Tuscany and Venice. Venice is my favourite. Gameplay wise Assassin's Creed II is really good too with you free running across rooftops and scaling buildings it just so good. The combat is really good as well with you getting good use of the hidden blade and swords. The game also has an economy system where you can buy new weapons and go to the doctor's. I could go on for ages talking about how good this game but I'll stop there and I rate this game 10/10 which is among the best PS3 games I own!
The trophies in Assassin's Creed II are really fun and not that difficult. Most of them are story related and require you to just complete the DNA sequences and finding assassin tombs. There are also some pretty fun gameplay based trophies but a couple can be quite annoying, for example Sweeper which was very annoying. There are a few collectible trophies in there as well but nothing difficult with a map. I rate the difficulty 5/10 because it is quite an easy list that didn't take me too long to complete. This is my 4th platinum.
Platinum #05 - Heavy Rain
Date Earned Platinum: 11th March 2010
Date Earned First Trophy: 25th February 2010
First Trophy Earned:Interactive Drama
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:All Endings
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6.5/10
Game Rating: 9/10
Toggle Spoiler Heavy Rain is a unique game that I just had to try out. The game is basically an interactive drama where it’s like you are playing a film. The story is fantastic where the question of it is 'How far are you willing to go to save someone you love?' and it’s all about a killer and a man trying to save his son. It's quite sinister but I won't go into more detail than that because I don't want to ruin it for people that have yet to play it. You play as four characters, Ethan, Scott, Norman and Madison and they all have their own back-stories that all connect together. Also an interesting thing is any of the characters can die during one of the scenes do to failing and if that happens the story continues without them and changing the ending. There are about 20 different endings in the game which will make your first experience unique to everyone else. The actual gameplay in Heavy Rain consists of set pieces which you perform the action shown on screen by doing things like moving the left analog stick up and the slower you do it gives you more the feeling that you are the character. There are also scenes where you have to tap buttons as requested and you have a time limit to press it before you fail. The set pieces are really well done and makes for a unique experience. I rate this game 9/10 because it is a really good game but starts off quite slow and may get boring after a while especially when trying to see all endings.
The trophies in Heavy Rain start off with almost all of them being hidden which is as expected as they are all story related. When I first played it I didn't look at what the trophies were so that I don't spoil the story and ruining the experience. But after that I went trophy hunting and looked online at what the trophies were and they are quite fun to achieve. Some of them can be quite tricky and one of them is really time consuming which is All Endings because there are lots of different endings and I had to use the internet to help me figure out which people I had to keep alive to get the correct ending. I rate the difficulty 6.5/10 because some can be quite tricky but not too difficult. This is my 5th platinum milestone!
Platinum #06 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Date Earned Platinum: 17th July 2010
Date Earned First Trophy: 14th November 2009
First Trophy Earned:Back in the Saddle
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Leave No Stone Unturned
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 7/10
Game Rating: 8.5/10
Toggle Spoiler Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is quite a good shooter which I got in 2009 near when it was released. What I actually like in these games is the campaigns and I think it's a shame that they don't put much effort into it and you can finish it in like five hours so I try to make it last as long as I can but during the story I thought it was fun while it lasted. Still Call of Duty 4 had a better story and was more ground breaking at release. The new mode which Infinity Ward introduced the series was Spec Ops which were little mini games where you got stars for how well you completed it like which difficulty level. I thought this was the best part of MW2 and is best played with friends. I spent hours trying to get 3 stars on every mission and I couldn't do it without the help of my friends. Ofcourse the biggest part of MW2 and the rest of the Call of Duty series is multiplayer. I did play the multiplayer the most and it was pretty fun although quite unbalanced especially the new killstreak rewards that are fun if you’re the one using it but so bad if it's against you. The multiplayer was probably the most fun part of the game though. I rate this game 8.5/10 because it was fun but didn't like the length of the story and it's an important aspect for me not the multiplayer.
The trophies in MW2 were fairly challenging although some were easy like the simple story-related ones. But completing the game on veteran was quite challenging although probably the easiest Call of Duty to complete on veteran. The hardest trophy though is definitely Star 69 for earning all 69 stars in spec ops which took so many tries with my friends on trying to get them last few missions done with them juggernauts. I rate the difficulty 7/10 based on spec ops and veteran mode. This is my 6th platinum.
Platinum #07 - Mafia II
Date Earned Platinum: 3rd September 2010
Date Earned First Trophy: 27th August 2010
First Trophy Earned:Viva la Resistenza!
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Card Sharp
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 5/10
Game Rating: 8.5/10
Toggle Spoiler Mafia II is a really good game that I enjoyed even more than the original Mafia on PS2 which was also really good. There are some great improvements from the original game which makes it more fun. One update is the open world which is better than the one in the first Mafia. This is because it is bigger and it fits in the story really well because the story goes through about 20 years of Vito's life and as you go through the different periods the city looks different to suit, for example the vehicles start to look more modern and when you get to winter there is snow on the roads and the ice affects the handling of the cars so affecting the gameplay. The problem with the open world is that there is not much to do apart from the story and driving around bringing down wanted posters. This was the same in the first Mafia. The actual story of Mafia II I think is fantastic starting off as just a gangsta and then becoming a made man. In the gameplay you can drive and travel on foot working through the chapters of Vito's life. I think it is the best gangsta game you can get. I rate this game 8.5/10 because it is a really good gangsta game but there is room for improvement like being able to do more stuff after completion or adding side missions in the open world.
The trophies in Mafia II are not difficult and not even that time consuming as you can see it only took one week to earn platinum. Completing the game on the hardest difficulty to earn Tough Nut wasn't that hard for hard mode. There were two collectible trophies, one was really fun Ladies' Man to get all playboy magazines and the other was not as there were loads to get and that was Card Sharp to find all the wanted posters. That was the most boring trophy of the list. Overall I thought the trophy list was really fun. I rate the difficulty 5/10 because it was quite an easy plat with a few annoyances on some of them. This is my 7th platinum.
Platinum #08 - L.A Noire
Date Earned Platinum: 15th July 2011
Date Earned First Trophy: 25th June 2011
First Trophy Earned:Police Academy
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Roscoe And Friends
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6/10
Game Rating: 9/10
Toggle Spoiler L.A Noire is a really good game that I got in 2011. It is one of my highest anticipated games of the year. Before the game came out I was eager to see the new facial recognition system and when I saw it I was blown away. The characters faces look very realistic down to the frown lines. The faces aren't just for show either, they are actually used in gameplay where you interrogate or interview someone and you have to look carefully at their face to try and see if they are telling the truth or lying which is really cool. I love the detective theme because this idea is original and it's nice to have something new that you've never seen before. The gathering clues and interviewing to build up the investigation and catch the culprit is really cleverly done and makes you feel like a true detective. The story is good as well how you start off on Patrol which was in the tutorial only then move onto Traffic for vehicle related incidents, Homicide for murders, Vice for drugs and that and finally Arson for burning houses. Each have their own assignments that are all different and interesting although can get repetitive after a while it's still a blast to play. It's also interesting playing as Cole Phelps how it starts off as purely work and then it gets more personal how you learn about his past and builds up a proper story not just doing assignments the entire game. I rate this game 9/10 because it's very good but there is of course room for improvement.
The trophies in L.A Noire are quite straightforward and just a case of completing the desks, gameplay related trophies such as using intuition points. Also for completing 20 street crime cases which is simple and a collectible trophy in there as well. There are quite a few story related trophies that require you to complete the scene in a certain way which I won't go into much detail about. The most annoying trophy is Auto Fanatic for driving every vehicle in the game, I hate these types of trophies so much because of the randomness of the vehicle spawning you have to just hope you come across the one you want and I was so relieved when I got it. Also the trophy for getting 5 star on all cases was achieved with massive help from the Trophy Guide on this site so big thanks helping me find all them clues. I rate the difficulty 6/10 because it was a simple list but the trophy for finding all vehicles and getting five stars on all cases was the main challenges and they weren't too bad. This is my 8th platinum.
Platinum #09 - inFamous
Date Earned Platinum: 28th July 2011
Date Earned First Trophy: 6th June 2011
First Trophy Earned:Good Eats
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Rockhound
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6/10
Game Rating: 8/10
Toggle Spoiler This game I got for free in 2011 as Sony's compensation for the PSN getting hacked. I was never planning to buy it before when it first came out but because Sony offered it for free I couldn't pass down trying it. It turns out inFamous is a good game but I do not think it is as good personally as reviews and other people said. The idea of choosing whether to be good or bad was a good feature which I like in games but I think the system could have been improved more and expanded giving more choices. I liked the open world and the side stuff of clearing districts of enemies but I didn't like how you were getting shot from all angles all the time. The whole electricity super hero/villain idea is quite cool and I like all the different types of powers you can acquire by reconnecting the sub stations in the different areas. The boss battles are fun but a little too easy. I quite enjoyed the story as well but I'm not a fan of comic style cutscenes. I rate this game 8/10 because I had good fun with it; however there were frustrations and some bits I didn't like.
The trophies in inFamous were all quite easy and got you to experience both sides of good and evil causing you to have to complete it twice being a hero and villian. There were only two trophies which I didn't like in inFamous and they are Stunt Master because of a couple of stunts which were so annoying and frustrating. Also Rockhound, why this is a bronze I have no idea but that has to be the worst collectible trophy I have ever got. 350 blast shards for a bronze, I thought that was going to be the platinum killer trophy for me but I finally managed to get it and felt a sense of relief at the end of it all. I rate the difficulty 6/10 because of them two trophies alone. This is my 9th platinum.
Platinum #10 - Just Cause 2
Date Earned Platinum: 10th October 2011
Date Earned First Trophy: 29th December 2010
First Trophy Earned:First Taste of Chaos
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Legendary Agent
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6.5/10
Game Rating: 8.5/10
Toggle Spoiler This was a game that my brother got me for Christmas in 2010 and it was a very good Christmas present as it is actually a really good game. There is a lot to do in this game to keep you busy for quite some time before getting bored. The story will take quite a while to complete as you have to build this chaos bar by doing things such as destroying objects and completing locations. There are over 300 locations in the game and the world is massive. The actual story I found wasn't that good and the voice acting was terribly cheesy which is the main thing I didn't like in the game. But what I thought made the game great is the gameplay how you get a grapple-hook which kinda made you feel a bit like spider-man how you can climb walls with it and connect to anything. Using it in-conjunction with a parachute made travelling the world more fun than driving. On topic of vehicles there are 104 different vehicles in the game and the widest range I have ever seen from cars, bikes, helicopters, planes and boats which are all fun to drive although I found the handling of cars to be a bit dodgy. Completing locations was a blast to go through which had you doing a simple thing like picking up a vehicle part to destroying a massive military base. Getting to 100% completion in this game would take forever. I managed to get to 75% but by then I was finished with the game and it got boring by the end. I rate this game 8.5/10 as it was a really good game but the story was a disappointment.
The trophies in Just Cause 2 are simple but extremely time consuming which will take at least 100 hours to complete. There are some quick trophies to get and a few story related ones but I would say the majority are long, especially the one where you have to reach 75% game completion which is very time consuming as the percentage is to two decimal places and goes up very slowly. I actually had to complete the game twice. The second time was on the hardest difficulty called Hardcore and it wasn't actually that difficult but it was boring as I'd already played it once and done everything I could possibly do. The main disappointment on the trophy list is the images, the developers must have been really lazy when doing this because they are all the exact same! Even the platinum trophy looks the same as a bronze! I rate the difficulty to achieve platinum 6.5/10 as they are not too hard but they just take so long. This became my 10th platinum milestone!
Platinum #11 - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Date Earned Platinum: 19th December 2011
Date Earned First Trophy: 11th November 2011
First Trophy Earned:Unbound
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Master
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6/10
Game Rating: 10/10
Toggle Spoiler Skyrim is my most anticipated game of 2011 and the only game that was a definite pre-order. The predecessor Oblivion was my favourite game on PS3 at the time because of the huge amount of content that kept me entertained for 100s of hours without getting bored. So five years later we have The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and it is possibly even better than Oblivion with even more stuff to do which is what I thought when I first played it, however after playing it for so long I start to realise that the game is not better than Oblivion but actually just as good. First I will get out the way the biggest problem in Skyrim which is bad enough to put the rating down and that's the sheer amount of bugs and glitches that plague the game. At first the issues aren't that bad but once your PS3 save file reaches 6MB it starts to get noticeable and eventually so bad that the game will constantly freeze the worst I have ever seen in a game. But if you can overlook this which I can then it can be the best game of the year. There is endless amount of content and you can choose how you want to play the game, whether it be a warrior, mage, thief or a combination of the three. The combat system is better than Oblivion how you can choose what to have in your left and right hands. Also I love the new perk trees when levelling up how each skill in the game has its own tree so that you can customize your character even deeper. The story of Skyrim is pretty cool as well with the ancient dragons returning and the battles with them are definitely the best part of the game. Love the music that plays when you face them. I could probably go on forever of this review so I'll just say it’s a really really good game that you need to experience if you haven't already. I rate this game 10/10 which is among the best of the best PS3 games I own!
The trophies in Skyrim are all quite easy and they didn't require much thought. The thing is that it is NOT a quick platinum. A lot of trophies will take a long time but because the game is so fun it will go quickly. The most time consuming trophy is Master as reaching level 50 is very time consuming and should be the last trophy you get. A lot of trophies were quest related which are very simple for just working through the main story and doing all the faction quests. I would rate the difficulty of this game 6/10 because the majority are easy but there are a few really time consuming ones. This is my 11th platinum.
Platinum #12 - Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Date Earned Platinum: 4th January 2012
Date Earned First Trophy: 25th December 2011
First Trophy Earned:Best Served Cold
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:True Templar
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 5.5/10
Game Rating: 9/10
Toggle Spoiler Assassin's Creed: Revelations, the sequel to Brotherhood is a game which I got for Christmas 2011 and it is another great game to expand on the Assassin's Creed story and I am still loving the series. The story in Revelations picks up where Brotherhood left off, I won't spoil it in case you haven't played Brotherhood yet but in Revelations it will tie up the story of Altair and Ezio and you will see everything that they have to show Desmond through the Animus. During Revelations as Ezio, a master old assassin, you must find 5 keys to unlock this Masyaf library and once each key is found it contains a significant memory of Altair through his life and as you progress things start to come together in the story. In terms of gameplay as Ezio who is now quite old, you can tell that the developers have made gameplay adjustments to reflect this as he runs much slower than he did in Assassin's Creed II and climbing sections take longer. But to combat this Ezio has been given a new tool known as the hookblade which is a really cool gadget that Ezio can use to climb to heights he wouldn't normally be able to reach, make climbing sections quicker, use ziplines and much more. The missions in Revelations are similar to that of Brotherhood, you can recruit assassin's to help in battle and capture dens in the new area of Constantinople. You can send your assassin's off on contracts in a mini-game called Mediterranean Defence to get some extra cash and build up their XP to train them up to become a Master Assassin. You can have 7 master assassins in total as there are 7 possible dens that can be taken over. For an assassin to be a master they must do a special master assassin mission and once they are a master that den will no longer be attacked by Templars. On topic of Dens being attacked, there is a new tactical mini game called Den Defence which I am not going to go into much detail about other than its pretty boring and frustrating. On the other side, to take over a den it's just like Brotherhood with the Borgia Towers only its Templar Dens, you have to kill the captain and light the flame. Also a new feature to the Assassin's Creed series is the ability to craft bombs. You can craft many different types of bombs whether you want to poison many guards and get past, stun guards while being chased or just luring guards away so you can slip past. It can be really fun seeing the effects of the different type of bomb. About Desmond now, he is trapped inside the Animus and has to complete all the sequences to awaken. There are 9 sequences in total and I believe this to be the shortest Assassin's Creed game yet unfortunately. The new area that Desmond spends his time in is called Animus Island which is like some kind of virtual world. There is an area of the island where there are 5 portals and each portal contains a Desmond sequence but to unlock them you need so many animus data fragments that can be discovered while playing the game. The Desmond sequences I thought were a little weird at first but after a while I thought it was a nice break from the assassinating although it wasn't nearly as fun as Brotherhood's Desmond sequences. The multiplayer in Revelations I thought was really confusing at first and I had no idea what to do but after I got the hang of it I found it really fun getting to level 20 online. I rate this game 9/10 as it's not quite what Assassin's Creed II is but still great.
The trophies in Assassin's Creed: Revelations are harder than that of Assassin's Creed II mainly because of the Fond Memories trophy for getting 100% sync in all sequences as some of them are quite tricky but most are not actually that difficult. Also the multiplayer trophies are really easy compared to the sheer amount of time needed for Brotherhood which is why I don't have platinum in that one. Some of the miscellaneous trophies can be quite annoying like kill 5 guards while stunned by caltrops. Two trophies in this game seemed to be glitched which are collecting all books and crafting 30 bombs. Luckily I found the cure and managed to obtain them. I rate the difficulty 5.5/10 because the difficulty I would say is only slightly harder that Assassin's Creed II. This is my 12th platinum.
Platinum #13 - WWE '12
Date Earned Platinum: 5th July 2012
Date Earned First Trophy: 18th June 2012
First Trophy Earned:Destroyer
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Master of the Brawl
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 4/10
Game Rating: 7.5/10
Toggle Spoiler WWE '12 is my second WWE game with trophy support and my first since Smackdown vs Raw 2010. I decided to miss out on Smackdown vs Raw 2011 because I was getting bored of wrestling and the games and in my Svr2010 review I mention that game would be my last WWE game but surprisingly I came back to the series two years later. Mainly because I found out that this game is regenerating the series hence the name not being called Smackdown Vs Raw and just WWE '12. The series was really ready for a change because the Svr series was getting really stale. When I first played this game the controls were completely different to what I was used to and just took some time to get used to it playing on Easy. Once you get used to it you can begin playing the game properly starting with Road to Wrestlemania mode which in my opinion is both the best and the worst RTWM mode yet in WWE games. What I did like was how you go through an entire season of WWE programming (well 18 months) so you get to do every PPV which reminds me of the old times with the Smackdown! games. It builds much better stories than just doing the last three months of the season. So instead of choosing a superstar out of five for three months you control one superstar through 6 month periods. First you control Sheamus in the Villian story, then it's Triple H in the Outsider story and finally you play as a created superstar which you have to create but has a set name of Jacob Cass. The storylines in this RTWM are probably the best I have seen in WWE for along time and is like real WWE storylines. That's the good, now the bad which makes it the worst mode yet. It is way too scripted and you have no choice as to how you want to play it. For example you have to complete a match in a certain way like in the elimination chamber match you had to make sure you defeated somebody before the next person enters. Also the mode is plagued with lots and lots of Brawls which gets very repetitive and annoying because it's always against the same people. The better mode in this game is WWE Universe which debuted in the series in SVR2011 so this is new to me but it was a great mode and is like GM Mode but could be improved even further. I liked how it created rivalries and sometimes they can be really believable. The cut scenes it creates can be interesting too although it tends to be the same ones over and over. It's also good how you can create your own show by changing many things in one of the existing shows like what titles you want the show to have. This mode still has lots of potential and hopefully the next WWE game improves it even further. A final point to make on WWE '12 is the roster size is the largest roster I have seen in a WWE game consisting of many many superstars including some legends like Edge and there's even to my surprise, WCW Superstars like Hawk and Vader. Even Brock Lesnar is in this too. Best Roster to date. I rate this game 7.5/10 because I do think it is better than Smackdown vs Raw 2010 but still has lots of improvements to make.
The trophies in WWE '12 are mostly really easy but would say they are harder than Smackdown vs Raw 2010 probably because of all the WWE Universe trophies which about 20 of the 50 are. The most boring trophy in this game has to beMaster of the Brawl because it is just pointless performing finishers on each location. I can't actually think of any trophies that gave me real trouble. Probably
Grand Slam Champion for winning 5 titles in WWE Universe because I had to sim a lot of years just so I could get my superstar in the Money in the Bank match. And the trophy which I despised was
You've Got Fans because you had to put that trophy in the hands of other people which is a stupid idea but I thank the people for helping me out with getting it! I rate the difficulty 4/10 because it is harder than Smackdown vs Raw 2010 but still really easy just a couple of moderately time consuming ones. This is my 13th platinum.
Platinum #14 - Sleeping Dogs
Date Earned Platinum: 14th November 2012Date Earned First Trophy: 3rd November 2012First Trophy Earned:Environmentalist
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Pure Gold
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 4.5/10
Game Rating: 9/10
Toggle Spoiler Sleeping Dogs is a great fun open world game that you can spend plenty of hours playing. You play as an undercover cop called Wei Shen who has been tasked with taking down the Triads from within the gang effectively convincing them as one of them. But as you progress it begins to get very personal and he starts to get attached to the organisation while not remembering he's a cop. It has a very good storyline that gets emotional along the way. There are many different mission types in Sleeping Dogs to keep you busy. In the main story there are Triad missions in which you connect yourself with the Triads starting as undercover but then truly becoming one of them. To break from that and remind Wei Shen that he is a cop there are four cases to complete and solve so you get a chance to work on both sides of the law. In each of those missions you are rewarded XP in two forms, cop XP and triad XP. Cop XP is earned through obeying the law in each mission for example not killing any pedestrians. You can only lose cop XP in each mission every time you disobey. There are 10 levels of cop XP to get through the game and every time you level up you are rewarded an upgrade. Triad XP is the harder of the two to build up as you can only earn this in the Triad missions and have to gain XP by killing triads and performing different style of moves. There are also 10 levels of triad XP to get through and each level gives you an upgrade. There is also another way of earning XP by face XP. Face XP is earned by doing side missions called favours for people on the street, races and jobs such as debt collection and finding cars. Races are fun to play as well and kinda feels like a different game. Cars feel good and they handle arcade style but you can feel the weight of different cars adding realism. Different cars also have classes A,B,C and D. With different races available for different class cars and bikes. When you earn money you can spend it on cars and clothes but apart from that there isn't much use for money in this game. The slight RPG element in this games is a good concept but I think it can be improved more by adding more choice as to what upgrades you want instead of at the end of the game having all the upgrades there is. Another open world event to mention is drug busts which I had fun doing. Basically you have to beat up all the enemies in an area then hack the security camera with this mini guessing game then use the camera at your apartment to bust the drug dealer. As well as a mini guessing game for cameras there are other cool little games you can do like tracing, cracking safes and planting bugs which adds variety to the game. Speaking of beating up enemies. The fighting system is very fun in this game and reminds me abit of Assassin's Creed in which you counter then attack. Hand to hand fist fights are the most common attack in this game. There are guns in this game and a few missions involve them but the majority is fist fighting. There is so much detail I could go onto in this review of Sleeping Dogs as open world games have much more content than other genres so I tried to pick out some major points that I liked to do in the game. This game is like GTA but on the other side of the law. If I were to say a downside I would put the map size is tiny. I rate this game 9/10 because it is a great open world game in my collection.
The trophies in Sleeping Dogs is very easy to obtain but quite time consuming to complete mainly due to thePure Gold trophy and 100% takes a long time to do. It should take atleast 20 hours to get this platinum. There is also an annoying trophy with the Triad XP because when you complete the game it is very likely that you will be stuck on level 9 and have to keep repeating missions but the XP bar goes up very slowly. Also some of the gold stas can be quite tedious especially the one for winning $1,000,000 in cockfighting which is a very pointless minigame in my opinion. There are also many collectibles in the game like lock boxes and health shrines but they are very manageable since certain missions allow them to be revealed on the map. Still I rate the difficulty 4.5/10 as its very easy but with a few annoyances. This is my 14th platinum.
PSN 100%
Here are my PSN games on 100% but only those without a platinum trophy.
Crazy Taxi
Date Earned 100%: 21st December 2010
Date Earned First Trophy: 20th December 2010
First Trophy Earned:Arcade C-license
Last Trophy Earned For Platinum:Crazy Driver
100% Difficulty Rating: 2/10
Game Rating: 5/10
Toggle Spoiler This game I downloaded off PSN on the 20th December 2010 for some short burst fun just before Christmas. I used to own Crazy Taxi for PS2 and it was fun then and I kinda had the urge to play it again but couldn't because my PS3 isn't backwards compatible so I decided to just download it off the store and this is the first PSN game that I have bought. The thing is I kinda regret purchasing this and think this was the worst decision I made of 2010 because I didn't have the same joy with the game that I used to. I got bored of it quite quickly because of the repetition of doing the same things over and over again but like I said, it's 'short burst fun'. This game can keep me entertained for about half an hour to an hour then I don't play it much for a while. All you do in Crazy Taxi is simply pick up passengers and take them to where they want to go CRAZY STYLE meaning driving as fast as you can and earning points on the way by getting bonuses for doing things like driving on the wrong side of the road for a duration without getting hit. It can be fun trying to beat your score but these kinda features are only enjoyable for so long then they start to get boring. I rate this game 5/10 which I think is fair because I give 5 points for the fun you have while playing it but it loses the other 5 points due to the repetition and it getting boring after a while. Still Crazy Taxi is a classic game though originally in arcades and the first console was the Sega Dreamcast but it's not what it used to be.
The trophies in Crazy Taxi are extremely easy. I got 100% in a day. There are only 12 trophies and eight of them are for getting the different classes C,B,A and S on original and arcade modes. I don't think them trophies stack so you have to do each of the two modes four times. The other four trophies are for Crazy Box now I say these are really easy but Crazy Box is the hard part. You have to do these little mini games and clear each of them to complete it and get four trophies along the way, three silvers and a gold. Most of them are quite straightforward but once you get to the last set being the specials at the end they can be quite frustrating. I rate the difficulty of achieving the 100% getting all 12 trophies a 2/10 because it's very easy and would be 1/10 if it weren't for Crazy Box.
Backlog
This is my backlog containing every game that I do not have a platinum for and I very small description as to why in the spoilers.
Toggle Spoiler I have not finished with the trophies in this game yet. The story is complete and I am taking a break from it but will come back to it at some point and earn some more.
Toggle Spoiler This game is never going to get platinum because I don't want to spend many hours getting to the highest rank in multiplayer and it is to far ago in the series now for me to go back to
Toggle Spoiler I probably won't get platinum in Battlefield 3 because I never play multiplayer excessively. This is my favourite multiplayer game but I'm not dedicated enough to finish it.
Toggle Spoiler Even less likely to get platinum is Battlefield Bad Company 2 because of how old this game is I can't see myself getting any more trophies on this game.
Toggle Spoiler I highly doubt I will platinum this game because of how old it is
Toggle Spoiler Even older game and will never platinum due to how hard veteran is. IT is probably the hardest mode I have ever played
Toggle Spoiler Probably won't platinum but may get some more trophies on this at some point
Toggle Spoiler Ah the game in which I got the closest to platinum without getting there with one trophy left and that is the grinding multiplayer one. I just wish I could get this being so close
Toggle Spoiler Probably never get platinum in this game because I find the hardest mode quite difficult and don't stay interested in it much.
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this due to Expert difficulty being very hard and having to have 2 decks to platinum
Toggle Spoiler Never platinum this due to Expert difficulty being too hard for my skill
Toggle Spoiler Barely played this game and kept meaning to go back and play it properly but was put off by new games. Hopefully someday I will find the time to enjoy this.
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of the ridiculous online trophies.
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of how old the game is
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of how old the game is
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of how old the game is
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of how old the game is
Toggle Spoiler The FIFA which I am still playing but probably won't end up getting platinum on this one either
Toggle Spoiler I will never platinum this for that trophy for getting gold on all events is just too difficult for my skill
Toggle Spoiler I really want the platinum in this but realistically I probably won't because of the online
Toggle Spoiler I recently got this and will probably finish it off in the future
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of multiplayer
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this because of multiplayer
Toggle Spoiler Probably won't get platinum in this because of the singleplayer getting very difficult
Toggle Spoiler Still getting the occasional trophy on this game because it is so good
Toggle Spoiler Still getting the occasional trophy on this game too because it is so good
Toggle Spoiler Will go back to this game at some point to get more trophies
Toggle Spoiler Will probably get more trophies in this game but it is my least favourite Metal Gear Solid
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum on this game because it's old and can't see myself getting the multiplayer trophies now
Toggle Spoiler I probably never get platinum on this because it is difficult and gets quite boring at times
Toggle Spoiler This game was easier to get trophies than the first one but still has some very difficult trophies that will probably stop me getting platinum
Toggle Spoiler Very fun to play but getting the platinum will probably never happen due to multiplayer
Toggle Spoiler Never get platinum in this due to some of the insane multiplayer trophies
Toggle Spoiler Maybe I can get platinum on this someday but I find crushing difficulty quite hard especially at the end
Toggle Spoiler Same as Uncharted 2. Maybe someday the platinum can be achieved but crushing is difficult
Toggle Spoiler The start of the series and probably with the most annoying crushing trophy. If I get platinum on one of these Id rather start with this but the trophy for getting all treasures glitched on me and didnt give it to me
Toggle Spoiler The game I got when I was very bored. Fun in short bursts probably won't get platinum but might get more trophies when I'm bored and want something to do
Toggle Spoiler Will never platinum this because of the online being so frustrating with the amount of running grapplers stopping you do anything. Why did they have to add that trophy.
Thankyou for reading. I spent a long time making these reviews for my games and feedback is welcome. I may add new stuff to this checklist but I think it's ok for now.

Nice looking list so far. I'd like to see what you're currently working on, and possible what you're planning on going back to. And even the games you've given up on and an explanation why.

Thanks, I spent a long time making these reviews as best as I can. And on topic with games I'm working on, planning on going back to and games given up on etc. I will have to have a think before adding it because I don't tend to work on one game straight all the time and like to keep switching between them but it can be added

Yeah I might add this new section later but instead of 'working on' it's more likely to be 'currently playing' because working on sounds like i'm playing the game to just get trophies like a whore whereas I see myself as more of a hunter because I only play games I like and get the trophies along the way

UPDATE I: Added a PSN 100% section for any games I get to 100% on psn without a platinum trophy. Only Crazy Taxi is on there and probably will always be the only one because I don't buy PSN games, that was a one off but I think it should still be in my checklist.
UPDATE II: Added a Currently Playing section for now this is what I've got. I just put in my games I got for xmas and like I said earlier I play more than one game a lot of the time and alternate so more than one game would probably be in this section.
There may be even more sections added to expand on this growing work in progress. Please give feedback on anything you want about this thread

Yeah both these games are awesome. I'm hoping to add them to my plats one day, i'm not rushing it though. I know in assassin's creed I have to play multiplayer for quite a while and with Uncharted I might try to finally finish the first two games before getting this one so the plats are in order. At the momemt I'm just enjoying the games before I go trophy hunting

Just completed the story of Uncharted 3 on Medium. Was amazing again, now i'm going to have a break from it before my next playthrough and concentrate on Assassin's Creed Revelations now.

12-31-2011 #162011 Trophy Review
As today is the last day of 2011. I have decided to make this post a review of my year in trophy hunting and games.
New games in 2011
Here is a list of the games that I now own with trophy support starting from January 1st 2011 to December 31st 2011 (A-Z). In () Ive put when I got it by month:
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (March)
Assassin's Creed: Revelations (Xmas game,December)
Dead Nation (FREE,June)
FIFA 12 (October)
inFamous (FREE,June)
L.A Noire (June)
LittleBigPlanet 2 (August)
Operation Flashpoint: Red River (May)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (November)
Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception (Xmas game,December)
This year as you can see I got 10 games with trophy support and I think that is my total because all the games I got this year had trophies.
Platinum trophies achieved in 2011
In 2011 I have earned 4
Trophies:
My first
of the year came with my summer game L.A Noire on 15th July 2011. The game was a fantastic original game that I thoroughly enjoyed playing. Full review in the main post.
My second
of the year was inFamous on 28th July 2011. This game was free from sony's welcome back package. I enjoyed it but not as much as I thought I would from everyone else's opinion's. Full review in the main post.
My third
of the year was Just Cause 2 on 10th October 2011. This game was a Christmas present off 2010 and it took me a very long time to get platinum because of the amount of content to do for it. It was a fun game. Full review in the main post.
My fourth and final
of the year was The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on 19th December 2011. This is likely my favourite game of the year and I enjoyed getting the platinum so much and is probably my best platinum of the year. Full review in the main post.
Favourite Game of 2011
My favourite game that I own in 2011 is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with the sheer amount of content to do despite the many bugs it was expected. Full review in the main post.
Least favourite Game of 2011
My least favourite game that I own in 2011 is Dead Nation. All my games this year are good but if I were to pick the one I disliked the most it would be Dead Nation because it's not really my kinda game. It's fun with two people though. But I can't argue since it was FREE.
Goal for 2012 in Trophy Hunting
My main goal for 2012 is not a set number of how many platinums to get etc but a broad goal to simply beat my best number of platinums earned in a year and that is 2010 - 5
. I also am just going to try and get as many trophies as I can. Hopefully I can finish off some of my platinums that has been pending for a long time.
So that's it for my little review of 2011 in Trophies and games and we'll see what 2012 brings. Happy new Year!Last edited by parkerdip; 01-01-2013 at 07:21 AM.
