These are very helpful in trophy checklists and trophy guides. I even used them in this guide, as seen at the top of the page.
This is what you would include in your “table of contents”. This is the text that you'll click on that redirects you to a different section of the page. To avoid confusion I'll just insert my own text into the required fields, you obviously can choose any anchor ID you want.
[anchor=123]Click Here[/anchor]
Here is how it would be shown on an actual post:
Try clicking the above text. If you are redirected to the forum index, click 'Back' on your browser and refresh. That's a common issue with this BBCode tag in relation to the VBulletin version this site uses. If it's working correctly the page should scroll down to the next section.
Now, the second part of this involves another tag. Place this where you want the [anchor={ID}] tag to redirect to:
[anchorpoint]123[/anchorpoint]
This text won't show up at all when it is viewed in a post. The ID of the anchor tag and the ID between the [anchorpoint][/anchorpoint] MUST be the same.
[/FONT][FONT=Lucida Sans Unicode]
These were added fairly recently to the site, and are very useful in trophy guides and trophy checklists
[trophies][platinum]{#}[/platinum] [gold]{#}[/gold] [silver]{#}[/silver] [bronze]{#}[/bronze][/trophies]
Here is an example of what it looks like:
021020
These can help make trophy guides and checklists look very "professional" and well-made. It allows you to keep an image or section of text aligned to the left, while enabling you to add text on the right of it.
[floatleft]{text, image, etc}[/floatleft]
I'll provide an example of this tag in use. This is from my trophy checklist:
Toggle Spoiler
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel[/FONT]
Platinum Obtained: 1/6/10[/FONT]
Game Rating: 8/10
Trophy Difficulty: 8/10
Estimated Time To Platinum: 100+ hours

Definitely one of the most underrated PS3 games there is. If you've ever played a Diablo game you'll be right at home here. I had a ton of fun playing through this game five times.
As you can see, the image remains on the left, and I can still type alongside the right without moving the image down.
Furthermore, we now have a floatright tag. It is used in the same exact manner as the floatleft tag, using the following syntax of course:
[floatright{text, image, etc}[/floatright]
First thing you need to do is log onto us.playstation.com
From there, go to your trophy page.
Next, click on the game you want the image from. In this case I'll use Rock Band 2.
Then right click on the specific trophy image you want (for this example I'll use
Flawless Fretwork) and choose 'Copy Image Location' (if you're using IE then you'll have to right-click, select 'Properties' and copy the URL from there).
That URL will be the location of the trophy image. However, that's not all. For some reason when you copy the URL it will put a bunch of unnecessary text at the beginning that will cause the image to not display. Delete the following text- http://us.playstation.com/playstation/PSNImageServlet?avtar=
From there you are left with 'http://trophy01.np.community.playstation.net/trophy/np/NPWR00440_00_5519F001313592BF9BFBFF93A157365CA7B64FD7/3E06D4AEDCEA34CEF7DF7D5904D1B55782A6E387.PNG', which will then display as an image (in the [IMG][/IMG] tags of course).
However, some games have Hidden platinums (as in they appear as 'Hidden Trophy' on the XMB trophy collection page), and for some reason us.playstation.com doesn't show them. Additionally, us.playstation simply does not display every single game in your collection, and I'm not sure exactly why. Either way, go to uk.playstation.com. This method requires a bit more work than on us.playstation. Once signed into that site, repeat the above process for the trophy image (go to 'My Trophies', select the game you want, and copy the image location of the desired trophy).
The only problem is that the default images there are very small- to fix this take the URL of that image and replace the beginning part of it with the following, leaving the numbers after it: http://trophy01.np.community.playstation.net/trophy/np/
Allow me to demonstrate. Let's say I want to use this image:
This method also works for getting large images of 'game images'...I'm not sure if that's the best term used to describe them, but here's an example of what I mean:
Notice how small it is? Now, I delete the beginning portion of the URL, and replace it with http://trophy01.np.community.playstation.net/trophy/np/, leaving me with the following: http://trophy01.np.community.playstation.net/trophy/np/NPWR01097_00_C70D1847741853527CCB9967B31CF8A2D8E30C58/8B2D6B3FB8C6A111DFEC4EDB79E9BEBE3122B622.PNG
[FONT=Lucida Sans Unicode]
[LEFT]As with the trophy images, you'll have to replace the beginning portion of the URL if you're using uk.playstation (assuming you want a large image)./LEFT]
[/FONT]
This is invaluable to guide writing. It allows you to see text formatting are you are writing, without having to click 'Preview Post'.
To enable this feature, click on 'Settings' at the top of the page, and then click on 'General Settings'.
From there, scroll down to Miscellaneous Options and click on "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing".
But while this feature can make guide writing quicker, it does have some problems. For one, it puts in a lot of unnecessary tags; each section of writing will have its own font tag and so forth. If you want to switch back and forth between the standard editor and the "advanced" one, click the 'a/A' button to the upper-right when making a post.

1. The basic format is like most BBCode with [table][/table] on either side of the information. However those by themselves are not enough to make a table. You can use both [th][/th] and [td][/td] within the same table if you feel like it.
2. [tr][/tr]: This simply creates a new row in the table. This is not enough to make a table. You are going to need some cells and columns to go with it.
3. [th]INFORMATION[/th]: This is the Table Header. Any information you put inside these two brackets will be automatically bolded and boxed. If you are looking to make a table resembling an excel spreadsheet I recommended you use these. A word of caution, the number of [th][/th] in each row of the table MUST be the same. Below is an example if this type of table.
Sample 1 Sample 2 Sample 3
4. [td]INFORMATION[/td]: Much like [th][/th] this creates a cell but will not automatically create a box around it or bold it. This is recommended if you simply want to list things without having to create a standard table. A word of caution, the number of [td][/td] in each row of the table MUST be the same. Below is an example if this particular type of table.

Total Awards: 14I really do always hate you Chambers. To be honest, never scrolled down to the very bottom and looked since site has been back up
. Also, didn't know that did that there.
Disregard need for a sticky I guess, but this is still a very good explanation and work done for all the major ones
. Thanks Chambers
