    Hardest Battle

What do you think was the hardest battle in the game.

I would say the Battle on the cargo part on the Cruise Ship. You have to kill all the guys and then a LMG Brute jumps down and he's relentless and regular guys still spawn. He takes so many bullets, just charges after you and can mow you down in a second. At least he only throws flash grenades.

I think all I had was a KAL-7, Para, and occasional grenades dropped.

I would say that same part is the hardest part for me as well. A close second would be the part with those fire spirits.

The hardest battle was in that tight area in the cruise ship indoors where there was stage and all.so annoying.

I think level 16 is the hardest if you DON'T take out all of the guys with stealth. Once the alarm sounds and everyone is coming at you it can be a beast!

Ugh that part on the ship was intense, even on Normal.... not looking forward to it when I get around to playing Crushing.

The part where you have to fight the fire guys in the fountain area on crushing was the hardest for me

I had the most trouble with the battle inside the cruise ship on crushing difficulty. I died a lot during that battle. The area before that, with the heavy gunner, was actually pretty easy if you can grab the pistole (if I remember right) one of the other enemies drops. I also died a lot on chapter 21 during my first playthrough on easy, sadly, but surprisingly on crushing I didn't die once.

Fighting the fire demons at the fountain was pretty hard, but not as hard as in the ship with the two snipers on the balcony and baddies spawning on the stage, and that damn heavy would always walk up to me behind the boxes and shoot me in the face.

Definitely the fire spirits. Everything else on Crushing was pretty easy.

I have to change mine after I used a pistole and killed the brute in two shots, on rushing.

I now have to say that the ballroom in the cruise ship is hands down the hardest battle in the game. It was just so overwhelming and you couldn't switch spots without risking death, AND they always rushed you.

Wow, this is not encouraging. I played through on Normal, and the only spots where I really had any problem were the fighting on the floating platforms in the water, the cruise ship ballroom, and the fire spirits. But after playing Crushing through two of those (the ballroom almost made me give up completely) I am REALLY not looking forward to those fire spirits again.

They were hard as frig on Normal; what are they gonna do to me on Crushing?

At least if everyone said the ballroom was the hard part I could tell myself, "Well, I did the ballroom. Hardest part over." Now I don't even have that. Thank you, PS3T.com community.

I hear alot of people saying the fire spirits at the end but I had no problems on that bit. The bit that gave me the most trouble was in the sand storm and you had to take out the two trucks with manned turrets on them

I actually had more trouble with the Dijinn on my Hard play through. I find it that you get so many good weapons that you can just stay in cover, and destroy them. The fountain bit was kind of annoying because of how you had no real cover and they teleported a lot more, but I found it was just easy if you run and gun. (Which is weird because you don't do that anywhere else.)

K, after finishing on Crushing, the two hardest parts for me were the floating platforms in the Ship Graveyard and the Ballroom. The fire spirits part really wasn't hard at all, especially since I went in well-equipped this time (Tau Sniper and Hammer). It was actually easier--with the right guns--on Crushing than it was on Normal.
