U3 Patch 1.13 - Multiplayer Trophies, New Legacies, New Character Customisation

Over on the official U.S PlayStation forums, Naughty Dog have revealed in their latest Q&A session with the community that the next update lined up for Uncharted 3′s multiplayer mode is to be absolutely humungous. Patch 1.13, which is being submitted for approval at the end of the month, will apparently add multiplayer-based trophies, new character customisation, new taunts and some sort of feature that will allow you to “unlock special weapons and clothing much faster”. Now that is how you do a patch!
Here are the highlights from the Q&A…

Q: Can we have more customization for the main characters? (Drake, Elena, Chloe, Talbot…)
A: We will be submitting patch 1.13 for approval at the end of June. This patch contains new taunts and character customizations. It’s epic. We’ll have more news on it once it’s approved.
Q: Are you going to IMPROVE MASSIVELY the already released DLC by adding trophies to them?
A: Yes! Trophies are coming in the next patch.
Q: Can you please increase the rare treasure drop ratio in Co-op Arena and Co-op Hunter?
A: If you still are having trouble getting that much sought after treasure we’re implementing a feature in patch 1.13 that will allow you to get those special weapons and clothing items very fast. More on that once the patch is ready.

ND have also stated that the level cap will be raised soon with two new legacies, though they haven’t announced yet whether those will be arriving alongside 1.13 or in a future update. When 1.13 gets approved in a few days time Naughty Dog will be further detailing just what fans can expect from the new patch, so make sure you keep it locked to DailyJoypad.co.uk and we’ll bring you any new information as and when it comes in.

NOOOOOO NOT MP TROPHIES. Dammit. I'll never have 100% in Uncharted 2, and I thought that I'd be safe with Uncharted 3 since they made DLC, but were nice not to put in trophies. Now there are trophies. I hope they will be way more manageable than the Uncharted 2 MP ones... some were just really time consuming

Damn there goes my 100% too! I thought ND would put in some MP trophies eventually but U3 doesn't do it for me like U2 are so i dont know if I will bother with the DLC trophies.

Well hey, I had 100% on U3 for... nearly 8 months. Not too bad, considering that by the time I platted U2, it was only 86%. I'm okay with that percentage dropping now, lol.

What they need to do is make a PSN version of just the MP portion(like Killzone 3), and add trophies and a plat there. At least do it for U2 since I am sure U3 is still selling like crazy. Still may be long till they do U2 since it just hit PSN.

I might as well carry on playing UC3 online because i will probably get the trophies quicker, plus i quite like the multiplayer on this game. I am already at lvl 27. Hopefully the DLC trophies will be related to playing the multiplayer and not specifically to the DLC maps.

I really like this multiplayer too but not as much as U2.

The DLC trophies are gonna get me back into this game, its been a while.

Great, multiplayer trophies for this game too...I at least enjoyed U2's multiplayer enough so that it wasn't really too bad getting all the MP trophies for that game.
