Uncharted 3 PLEASE HELP!!!!

I really fancied playing Uncharted yesterday and when I put the disc in my PS3 won't recognize it. I tried 1 and 2 and they wouldn't load either. I deleted the game utility data and thoroughly cleaned the console. After doing this 1 works but 2 and 3 don't. 2 gets to the loading screen and gets stuck, 3 won't even appear on the xmb. Please if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. These are 3 of my favourite games and I will be devastated if they won't work any-more.

Are the discs scratched up? That may be why.

What you need to do is make sure your save files aren't corrupted, not the data, the actual save files. If not that, then refer to Ds up there.

If both above comments dont work then call sony or the devs..... if that STILL does not fix the problem, welll......... god help us all

Yeah the discs are immaculate and i've installed the latest system update.

Sounds like your laser needs cleaning, have you tryed any other games?

All my other games are working that's why it's so confusing.

I had the same problem with Uncharted 3. I brought it back to Gamestop and the lad behind the counter told me there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with the disc but he would exchange my disc for a used one and that worked ok. there was definitely something wrong with my original disc.

what would corrupted data have anything with a disc loading? he/she already deleted the game utility and UC would still load up with corrupted saved data?

Well I'm totally stuck, the discs work fine cos I've completed these games several times with them. I rang Sony and they told me to restore my file system which I've done, and 2 and 3 still won't work

Do you have a buddy with the game that you can borrow (just to see if it is the discs) beyond that I honestly don't know. That sucks that it happened to good games.

So is it just the Uncharteds that don’t work? Or are you having trouble with any other games? My brother had a similar problem a few months back.. Unfortunately he had to get his blu-ray lens replaced. Hope you don’t have to do that because it’s kind of expensive unless you know how to replace it yourself. Anyway, hope you figure it out buddy!

Describe how to the disc looks, and no not the side with the uc label on it
I mean the bottom. Mine looks like kinda squiggly and not blank like most other discs

I'm having a little issue now myself with uc3, when I load up the game and select online
The connecting bar would fill up normally then when it gets to the end it would stay there longer than usual
Then when I would find players it would take longer for me to start a game and joining a game in progress
While everyone else has a black screen with the ring spinning Im still in the matchmaking screen waiting for the other players to load on my screen

I thought it was lag but it's not and it's annoying, all other gamers work perfectly
Its just uc3 disc for some reason
