Insomniac Games, developers of the Ratchet & Clank series and the upcoming Fuse, have filed a trademark and registered a domain for Sunset Overdrive. NeoGAF user Kifimbo noticed the trademark, which is for "computer game software, Entertainment services, namely, providing an on-line computer game." There's also a website registration for sunsetoverdrive.com by Ryan Schneider, who is the marketing director over at Insomniac.
For now, it’s unclear exactly what Sunset Overdrive might be, and we don’t know if it’s a console game (possibly even for the recently-announced PlayStation 4) or part of the studio’s social game division called Click. Hopefully we'll hear more from Insomniac about the title and will update this story with any comment news they announce. Insomniac’s next game, Fuse, is due to arrive later this year.
