New Lollipop Chainsaw "Swan" Trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive have released a new trailer for their upcoming action title, with a twist, Lollipop Chainsaw. The player takes control of Juliet Starling, a sweet yet brutal cheerleader, who is on a mission to stop the zombie outbreak. The game is due for release on the 1st of August, 2012.

With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realises the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill her.
In this trailer we are introduced to Swan, who looks to be the main cause of the outbreak of undead, not that it seems to faze her...

Now who doesn't get excited for a game where you play as a hot blonde cheerleader...slicing up the undead with a chainsaw?

The game does look like a lot of fun, a classic button bashing bloodfest. What could go wrong with that?

Darkness II Demo Announced

It has just been announced that The Darkness II demo will be available to download on the playstation network on 24th January 2012 in North America and on 25th January in Europe.

Jackie Estacado is now the Don of the mafia family. He hasn't used his Darkness powers for two years, then he is suddenly attacked by a group unknown to him simply called, The Brotherhood. Seems Jackie is in need of his demonic friends once again, setting the stage for The Darkness II.

The Darkness II game also introduces a new quad-wielding system for Jackie and his two Darkness arms. He can use one arm to grab enemies whilst using the other for slashing. Jackie can also dual-wield guns and can use all four weapons at the same time. This makes for some exciting first-person combat with loads of different ways to rip, tear, shoot, impale, and generally decimate your opponents.

The Darkness II full version game is scheduled to be released sometime in February 2012.
