Mass Effect Andromeda Pushed To Q1 2017 Plus TitanFall 2 And Battlefield 5 News

Mass Effect Andromeda has been delayed from its original holiday 2016 release date into Q1 2017, according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen.
Speaking during Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, via NeoGAF, Jorgensen was asked to provide the status of EA’s upcoming non-sports games. He said Mass Effect would be coming in EA’s “fourth quarter” EA’s fiscal year ends March 31 so the game could launch sometime between January and March 2017.
“We’ve got a great year ahead. We’ve got our Battlefield first-person shooter game coming in the third quarter, and our third-party title that Respawn, our partner, built, it’s called Titanfall, it’s the second title that they brought into that brand. Both of these are first-person shooters and will be targeted around the fast, action-driver shooter market, as well as the strategy-driven market in that quarter. We have our Mirror’s Edge runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter. So big year ahead and we’re pretty excited,” Jorgensen said.
Mass Effect Andromeda was announced during EA’s E3 press conference last year, with an expected Holiday 2016 release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Details of the games’ plot, multiplayer mode, and more were reportedly leaked in a survey.

In related Battlefield 5 news, recently DICE confirmed it is working on a new Battlefield. Other than a Holiday 2016 release date, EA has not revealed any details regarding the new Battlefield game. However, a recent retailer listing hints at the possibility of a World War I setting in Battlefield 5.

Report: Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 Leaked By U.K Magazine, Release Date Confirmed

The next Call of Duty title is going to be Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 and it is due for release in November 2016. Well, that is if this article by a U.K magazine is to be taken seriously.
If you think of it though, it all adds up. Fraghero was sent this scanned copy of the image by a reader going by the name Mari Fernett. Upon request, Mari was happy to speak with us and told us the magazine in question is the February issue of Games TM and the game was mentioned under a feature called “2016 Most Wanted Games”.

As you can see, the author of the article mentions Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 among the most anticipated games for 2016 and says that Infinity Ward needs to really step up its game if it is to reach the level it did with the Modern Warfare games.
Now, let’s go back a bit. Considering the issue is of February, it went to print sometime in January this year and the article must have been written even earlier. We assume around mid-Jan.
As we all know Activision actually confirmed that the next Call of Duty was being made by Infinity Ward on February 11 during an investors call, the developers of the Modern Warfare games as well as Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Games TM is a respected magazine which has been operational for a long time and although it certainly seems like a gaffe from its end, it does add up with everything that followed. The author might just have forgot that the game wasn’t officially confirmed yet and somehow it went past the editors too.

When creative strategist Robert Bowling exited Infinity Ward in 2012, he put the departure down to the studio doing “too much ‘pew pew’ not enough new new.” We got a look at what he meant with the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts – a solid, yet unspectacular next-gen debut for the franchise. Infinity Ward will have had three years to work on a follow up, and it needs to showcase the same creative spark that once put in on the map with Modern Warfare back in ’08 if it wants any chance of standing shoulder to shoulder with Sledgehammer and Treyyarch.
Whatever it is, this certainly suggests that the game Infinity Ward is working on right now is a sequel to Call of Duty: Ghosts. The ending of Ghost also hinted towards a sequel and we might be getting one this year.
The release date also fits in line with the annual Call of Duty release schedule so it is safe to assume Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 will be releasing in November 2016.
It will be interesting to see how Infinity Ward carries the series forward and when an official announcement would be made.
We’ve tried to reach out to both Activision and Infinity Ward regarding this story and would update it if either of them chooses to respond.

Well, you’ve done it again! After an exciting Vote to Play campaign, PlayStation Plus users have selected Broforce as the first title in March’s PS4 free games lineup. You picked it, you got it!
If you’re a fan of the other two games, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Assault Android Cactus and Action Henk will be available for PlayStation Plus members with a 30% discount from March 8th to March 21st.

Uncharted 4 Story Trailer Revealed

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is almost done. The game’s launch is right around the corner — April 26th, 2016! Up until now we’ve dropped small hints about Nate’s final adventure. It’s time to finally pull the curtain back and give you the official Story Trailer. But before jumping into it, a warning:

Fallout 4 Season Pass Price Increase & Details

Fallout 4 was a pretty polarizing game. Maybe you're still wandering the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Boston or maybe you put it down after only a few hours. Either way, Bethesda isn't done with Fallout by a long shot. Today, the studio announced its upcoming Fallout 4 DLC plans.
It's worth noting that Bethesda is calling this the "first series" of downloadable content for the game, with their plans stretching out longer than previous Bethesda games. While the Season Pass for Fallout 4 was originally $29.99, under the new, expanded content plan, that price is going up to $49.99. However, Bethesda is rolling in the money, so they're being nice about it. If you already purchased the Season Pass at $29.99, you still get all the content from the expanded version. If you want to buy the Season Pass now, you have until March 1 to pick it up for $29.99.
The first DLC will be Automatron, coming on March 2016 for $9.99:
The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!
This is frankly, the coolest idea of the bunch. Crafting and maintaining your power armor was one of the highlights of Fallout 4 and this extends that idea to a unique companion. I honestly expect to have a ton of fun with this particular add-on to the game.
Next up is Wasteland Workshop, coming in April for $4.99. While Automatron focuses on a new companion, Wasteland Workshop sounds like it's an expansion of the existing settlement system, with new designs and traps for enemies.

Far Harbor is the final add-on in this first set of content, and this sounds like it's the full story DLC in the style of Fallout 3's Operation: Anchorage or Mothership Zeta. The add-on will take you to the coast of Maine, where Bethesda promises the "the largest landmass for an add-on that we've ever created." It'll be released in May for $24.99. The description for the DLC:

Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.
The rest of the content is spread throughout the rest of 2016, alongside other free updates to the game. Bethesda is looking to get the Creation Kit out the door, which will let players create and use mods for free. There's a planned overhaul of Survival Mode that means players have to watch out for things like hunger, sleep, and diseases to survive. The studio is also continuing to tweak and optimize the game further as it releases new content.
Players can head over to Bethesda.net to sign up for the Fallout Add-Ons closed betas if they want to try the content before the rest of us. The rest of us will just play the betas when they're launched as full releases. Hopefully, having actual betas means Fallout 4's add-ons will launch with fewer bugs than the base game or its predecessors.
It's worth noting that Bethesda is calling this the "first series" of downloadable content for the game, with their plans stretching out longer than previous Bethesda games. While the Season Pass for Fallout 4 was originally $29.99, under the new, expanded content plan, that price is going up to $49.99. However, Bethesda is rolling in the money, so they're being nice about it. If you already purchased the Season Pass at $29.99, you still get all the content from the expanded version. If you want to buy the Season Pass now, you have until March 1 to pick it up for $29.99.
The first DLC will be Automatron, coming on March 2016 for $9.99:
The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!
This is frankly, the coolest idea of the bunch. Crafting and maintaining your power armor was one of the highlights of Fallout 4 and this extends that idea to a unique companion. I honestly expect to have a ton of fun with this particular add-on to the game.
